  1. Well to be honest I really don't know where to even start with my review. I missed the first three fourths of the race to begin with. Matt Kenseth started up front while Tony Stewart went from second qualifying spot to 42nd when he failed inspection. I read where there was a complication on pit road where three cars slid or bumped together and caused a scary moment for a crew member...Gordon was involved in that one. Shortly after I turned it on JJ was involved in a wreck that also included Jeff Gordon. Gordon had minimal damage while JJ hit the wall hard. Glad he is OK. Later on Denny Hamlin who was in a good run slid in front of Biffle to collect 24 cars...including the 24 car. Then on the very last lap...really don't know what happened since the TV was focused on the winner...but Gordon, Jr and several other cars were involved in a huge looking accident. Glad to say everyone walked away OK from all accidents. Tony Stewart went on to win his third race of the season. Congrats to Stewart and his fans. Here is the top ten of the race (though really don't know how many cars actually were able to finish the race...) 1. Tony Stewart 2. Jeff Burton 3. Matt Kenseth 4. Joey Lagano 5. Ryan Newman 6. Brad Keselwoski 7. Carl Edwards 8. Micheal Waltrip 9. Bobby Labonte 10. David Reutimann On a side note...AJ Allmindinger has been suspended for failing a random drug test. Sam Hornish Jr rode in his 22 car. Guess AJ has 72 hours to request a B test if he fails that one his temporary suspension will turn into indefinate suspension. Very sad to hear this. I like AJ and feel he was a good kid...guess that shows how little I know. The last driver to fail a drug test from NASCAR was Jeremy Mayfield. Hope AJ will pass his next test and that there is a reason for the first failure. Well I for one am glad to leave Daytona behind. Not my night of racing. (Jeff managed to finish 12th, Jr 15th, David Ragen 26, and JJ 36th.) We are onto Loudon next week...I for one am looking forward to some normal racing that won't require as many big ones as tonight produced. We will be back to Sunday afternoon racing as well next week...
  2. LUCKY YOU! Wish I was going to go see Cooter...wish I was going to homecoming. I too need to save money for my dang car as it has been dying on me while driving. Wish I had Cooter. Nah I have a good mechanic, he just cant find anything wrong with it since it won't do it for him. Still don't trust my car and have no money for a new either. Good luck with seeing Cooter...tell him hi for me :D

  3. Do like this song and the video I find amusing...though there is a few inappropriate things in the video, so be warned. (He even owns his own bar/restaurant - a couple of them. Know one is in Oklahoma where he is from...by the same name of this song...would love to go eat there sometime.)
  4. That is awesome that you get a summer. You deserve it...wish I had a summer off. ;)

Too bad you are thinking you will be unable to see John this year...

  5. John's are the best hugs.

Cubs game was fun and great even though they lost. :( Ah well...it is not their season this year. Next year will be their year. ;) LOL

Hope all is great with you...don't be a stranger, ya hear?

  6. "The Boys of Fall" Kenny Chesney Know I used this already and I apologize for the repeat...
  7. Know I say this a lot, but I have to say it again. I LOVE THIS SONG! Don't have this on any album, but wish I did. Love it when it comes on the radio. Great song, great tune, great melody..."Funny how a Melody sounds like a Memory"....
  8. They will be racing Saturday night at Daytona this week...hope all your drivers have a great race. I don't think I will be able to watch the race this week...hope to catch the end, but I don't know. Will read up on it and will write my review from that if I don't watch it. Hate missing a race. . .
  9. It is something to be remembered Dale Jr, Gordon, and Johnson all up in the top six like that. Kasey Kahen was second so all of Hendrick's drivers were in the top ten. Got me last night when the announcer made the comment that three Hendrick drivers were in the top five when they coulda went one more and said all four were in the top six. You are welcome. Always think of you when I see Ragen or they say something about Ragen. Hope he can turn things around sometime soon...
  10. You are welcome. Who is your favorite character? Like your pics...Cooter's is an awesome place, isn't it?

  11. "You'll think of Me" Keith Urban
  12. Well Kentucky just got over and once again it there wasn't much to write about as in accidents and so forth. In fact there wasn't any accidents. A few cautions for debri and one for Ryan Newman whose engine blew on track. Not a night for Stewart Haas Racing since Stewart had to go to the garage for his throttle or something like that. Personally am excited for my Hendrick team.. Kahne had issues at one point and had to go the pits. Went two laps down and came home second. Jr came home fourth, Gordon fifth, and Johnson sixth. Wish one of 'em got the win, but close just not enough laps for Kahne. Brad Keselowski has won his third race of the season tonight. Here is the top ten: 1. Brad Keselowski 2. Kasey Kahne 3. Denny Hamlin 4. Dale Earnhardt Jr 5. Jeff Gordon 6. Jimmie Johnson 7. Matt Kenseth 8. Martin Truex Jr 9. AJ Allmindinger 10. Kyle Busch (David Ragen came home 29th tonight, Stewart was 32nd) Onto Daytona next weekend...
  13. We are about to go racing...Kentucky style!!!!!!!
  14. Welcome to Hnet :D

  15. The Sprint Cup races at Kentucky TOMORROW night at 6:30 EST on TNT...or you can watch the race or certain drivers on RaceBuddy...or do both as I do. Here is the starting line up: 1. Jimme Johnson 2. Kyle Busch 3. Denny Hamlin 4. Kevin Harvick 5. Ryan Newman 6. Clint Bowyer 7. Dale Earnhardt Jr 8. Brad Keselowski 9. Jeff Gordon 10. Martin Truex Jr. This will be the second time we raced at Kentucky ... last year Kyle Busch won it. Am really looking forward to the race tomorrow night and hope to see the 24 car in Victory Lane... but hope everyone's favorite driver will have a fun, safe, and good race.
  16. Thanks Hoss for leading me to this song...was so excited when I found I could use this song. This is a Christian song that is pretty big on Christian radio and LOVE it...can listen to it over and over again. Great message. You just made my day.
  17. I am five days shy of Denver Pyle's birthday. Mine is May 6...Denver's is May 11. That is as close to a Duke actor/actress as I get. I do share George Clooney's birthday...I'm just twenty years younger than him.
  18. Well I stand corrected...Matt Kenseth knows where he is going next year, but has not and will not yet make it public. The whole Gibbs thing was only a speculation...nice they would say all that in the article I read yesterday and I wouldn't have to correct myself. Still surprised at all of this...and glad that Gordon has a life long contract with Rick Hendrick. He will race his entire Cup career at Hendrick...awesome!
  19. Well I read some NASCAR news this afternoon that shocked me... Matt Kenseth, driver of the 17 car and drives for Rousch Fenway Racing...and has for fourteen years (all of his cup career) will be leaving Ford, car 17, and Rousch for the first time in his career at the end of the season. Rousch will then put in last year's Nationwide Series champion, Ricky Stenhouse Jr in the 17 car while Matt Kenseth will be driving for Joe Gibbs Racing. Matt will either take Joey Lagono's ride in the 20 car since his contract will end at the end of the year or Gibbs may add a fourth car to his organization. Surprising to me since Matt Kenseth at the moment is ranked at number one in Cup points...and Roush driver Greg Biffle is second. Don't know where that leaves Kurt Busch who had been rumored in wanting to take Lagono's ride before Lagono won that race a couple of weeks ago. Though think he needs to adjust his attitude if he wants another team to hire him...he may have worn out his welcome to any big rides. Will be interesting to see where he lands next year...his car looks pretty bare out there - bare of sponsors. Ah but once again that is my unwanted opinion... Wish Matt the best of luck with his new team. Never have been too big of a fan of his ever since him and Gordon got into it at Bristol, but put that aside, Matt is a pretty good driver. A driver who seems to get the job done without making much noise...very consistant driver.
  20. One of my FAVORITE Christian artist. He is awesome to see in person...a lot of energy.
  21. Here is the official point standings after the Sonoma race yesterday (top ten): 1. Matt Kenseth 2. Greg Biffle 3. Dale Earnhardt Jr 4. Jimmie Johnson 5. Tony Stewart 6. Kevin Harvick 7. Clint Bowyer 8. Denny Hamlin 9. Martin Truex Jr. 10. Brad Keselowski
  22. Well I will try this again since my dumb computer has been fighting me all afternoon and lost my last post. Am frustrated right now. Anyway... The race has just got over and went eighty or so laps caution free. NOt a lot of excitement through the first three fourths of the race. Ambrose led the first few before Gordon passed him to lead a few laps before his car went away on him. Martin Truex Jr led a lot of laps as well as Clint Bowyer. Jeff Gordon was doing well until he ran out of gas with thirty laps to go...luckily he was close to pit road when he ran out and was able to slowly make it to his pit stall. But lost a lot of time on pit road. Went in third, came out 15th. He raced hard to come home sixth. Not the win he should have had, but am happy with it with all things considered. But if Gordon wants to get into the chase come chase time, he NEEDS to win races. Not just get top tens. But am happy with it for now. Jr got involved in an accident on the final restart and come home 23rd after winning last week. Roger - David Ragen made it home 27th today. Kurt Busch gave Clint Bowyer a good run today, fighting hard for the win. His back end of the car was going out and got passed by Tony Stewart on the final couple of laps. Clint Bowyer went on to get his first win for Michael Waltrip Racing. Here is the final ten drivers at Sonoma: 1. Clint Bowyer 2. Tony Stewart 3. Kurt Busch 4. Brian Vickers (his third race of the season...overcame a speeding penalty on pit road) 5. Jimmie Johnson 6. Jeff Gordon 7. Greg Biffle 8. Marcos Ambrose 9. AJ Allmendinger 10. Joey Lagono We are going NIGHT racing next SATURDAY night at Kentucky. The race will start 6:30 EST on TNT.
  23. Another GREAT Tim McGraw song...love it. Love the emotion in his voice...he makes me wanna cry for him.
  24. Can't help it I like the better team...HA HA. GO CUBS Well the NASCAR Sprint Cup boys will be turning left and RIGHT tomorrow at Sonoma at the year's first of two road races on the circuit. And for once in a long time, I know I will be around to watch it...all of it. That is if it doesn't rain...it better NOT rain at Sonoma tomorrow. Here is the top ten starting position drivers for tomorrow's race: 1. Marcos Ambrose (second pole for the driver from down under! Way to go Marcos!) 2. Jeff Gordon 3. Jimmie Johnson 4. Greg Biffle 5. Martin Truex Jr 6. Clint Bowyer 7. Kyle Busch 8. Kurt Busch 9. Matt Kenseth 10. Ryan Newman The race will start at 3:00 EST on ESPN...
