Congratulations Roger on getting Jimmie's/Rosco's book! I am glad that your hints worked well for you and that you got what you wanted. I have read it and know that you will love it...well at least I did. I had a very hard time putting the book down! I didn't get anything Duke related for Christmas...but I did get a couple of new tires, oil change, and a certificate for a replacement radio for my car. LOL. It is definately not The General Lee by any means, but I do call it the Gold General. (My car has much more in differences from the true General than what it has in common with The General. But I can always pretend, can't I? Khee)

Val - I am real sorry to hear that you are going through some troubled times at the moment. I hope that things will get better for you soon and that you will be able to find forgiveness and acceptance of your friends. May things soon get better for you. Know you are in my thoughts. I hope, despite the conflicts and all, that you will find yourself having a very special Christmas come Friday.

Thank-you Daney! After several months of being stuck on chapter three, I am definately not going to fight or argue with my muse when it finally wants to cooperate! May have chapter three done by New Years if luck continues to go my way...just hope my luck carries over into chapter four. Thanks Daney!

*Sighs* Well, sadly, last year's (or this year's) resolutions went like soooo many of my others have in the past...of working for a few days or so before coming to a halt or a failure. So I definately did not make my resolutions last year and looking at this upcoming year, I have sooo many things I would like to work on or to change. If only I could find a way to change my habits/routines and to do better and to keep at it, I'd be happy.

Well despite what I had said earlier, I doubt that I will be sending any in or writing any...due to the lack of time and my muse finally cooperating in my other story. Though it is great to see others writing and sending them in!

Congradulations Daisy Mae! I am very happy for you that you were able to not only see Tom but to actually meet him. Lucky you! Your story made me remember my first, at least I think it was my first, John Michael Montgomery concert years ago. (though your story was way better). During his opening act I noticed this guy sitting next to me...for some reason I noticed him during the openning act...but then he disappeared during John Micheal's performance...to find him on the stage. I am pretty sure he was one of John Michael's guitar players...not a hundred percent sure, but am pretty sure it was him. Like I said, your story Daisy Mae was way better, just made me think of that. You actually got to meet/talk/ share a drink with Tom himself! Lucky you! LOL

I guess it could be...I seen both episodes in the same day.

Am a huge Keith Urban fan. Have seen him in concert twice and own all of his albums...at least I think. I may be missing one, but I doubt it. Josh Turner is good...heard this morning he has either a new song coming out or a new album. Not sure.

That is an interesting tradition Roger. I bet your wife isn't too happy with the mess you create, but I am sure with the meat you get from the deer, you'll make it up to her. Plus with Christmas music, it does make it a Christmas tradition I would think. At the moment I am now listening to Keith Urban's "Be Here" CD. Another great album by the Australian. He puts such great emotion into his music!

I am listening to Kenny Chesney's "Be as You Are" CD...another great CD. Every song on the album, to me, is very nice and relaxing.

BRRRR TexasDaisy...sounds way too cold for me. Right now and throughout today I can hear the wind outside my window. It sounds like tonight and tomorrow is suppose to be cold here as well. It was today too, had to take my dog out a few times and she did not like it. Boy who doesn't like a day off? LOL. I enjoy each day off I can get...unless it is to go to the doctors or what not, then I'd rather be at work. LOL. But a free day off due to weather, that is the only positive thing that comes from the winter. Of course all of that is my own opinion. Glad he likes his job so much...I like mine as well, though do enjoy time away as well.
