  1. *Bo nods and watches his uncle slowly walking towards the small shack that Alice and Molly call a home before he turns around to take in his surroundings. Sighing heavily he attempts to think of what he should do or could do while his uncle is in talking to Alice before he slowly begins to walk around the building to get a better view of his surroundings.*
  2. Well I thought that since the chase will officially start this Sunday, that it would be fun to see who y'all think will be crowned champion at the end of the 2010 season (November 21st I think is the last race at Homestead Miami).
  3. Thanks Roger...though I do have to give credit that I do read up on it on NASCAR.com and on Yahoo!'s NASCAR sports page. Though do tend to go towards NASCAR.com to be my favorite source of info of the two sites. Jamie McMurray won the two big races this year...one would think he would have made it. Hopefully next year he will. He is a great driver and seems to be a great guy as well! As for other non-chase drivers winning a race, there is three other drivers who won races this year. Juan Pablo Montoya, Ryan Newman, and David Reutimann. Though Jamie is the only one that won two, the others only won one. On the other hand there is five chase drivers that did not win a race in the regular season. . .(Jeff Gordon , Jeff Burton, Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, and Clint Bowyer.) I am looking forward to see what they plan on doing with the chase if they do change it...hope they do it for the better. Good question, Roger!
  4. She's a Big Star - Kenny Chesney Gee Hoss you seem to like some violent songs there...slaughtering your daughter and now killin' the poor radio star.
  5. Nothing on but the Radio - Gary Allen Sorry Hoss to break your daughter thread you had going on, but had a hard time thinking of a song title with the word daughter in it.
  6. Once again, Hoss, nice work! Even if it is of a car that was lucky enough to beat The General. LOL. Haven't seen the reunion shows in a long time...though do have them on DVD. Once again, very nice - thanks for sharing it with us!
  7. As always, you are very welcome, Roger. I am always excited to be able to talk about NASCAR to anyone that will listen...or not listen. LOL. It is one of the very few things I know well enough to talk about. LOL. There is ten races that make up the chase. (Loudon, New Hampshire starts it off this Sunday at 1 PM EST on ESPN). The NASCAR season comes to a sad end the weekend before Thanksgiving normally. (Perhaps I'm the only that is sad to see the season come to an end. . .) I haven't looked it up this season, but it generally ends the weekend before Thanksgiving and starts again on the second Sunday in February. (Talking about the chase...it is rumored that the top dogs of NASCAR are discussing or thinking of tweaking the chase for next year...) No Dale Earnhardt Jr or Mark Martin in the chase this year. Hopefully they can use this time to tweak and work in their cars and experiement for next year. Jr may not have had the stellar regular season that most of us would love for him to have (heck, I think I'd root for him to win over Gordon if it came to that. That's saying a lot coming from me!), but I do believe that this year, for Jr, has been better than last year. For other big names that is out of the top twelve...Ryan Newman, Kasey Kahne haven't made it. Sad to see Jamie McMurray miss it after winning both Daytona 500 and Talledega this year. Juan Pablo Montoya made it into the chase last year, but did not make it this year. But by far the biggest names out of it is Dale Jr and Mark Martin.
  8. *Bo silently nods at his uncle, not knowing what to do. This trip wasn't about his comfort or what he wanted. "You mean we could be facing more than one those so called monsters?" Bo can't help but to ask as he attempts to hide his emotions. As if one wasn't bad enough to begin with. . . Sighing heavily, he looks up at Jesse and confidently states, "Stop worrying about me, Jesse. I'll be fine either way," Bo pauses to look around the swamp, wondering what Luke would do before finally stating, "I'd rather stay out here and keep cover, but if you need me inside, just let me know." Bo has spent as very little of time at the swamp as he could muster living so close to it and looking around, he begins to think maybe it's about time he finds out what is so attractive to the swamp that people like Alice and Molly thrive to live there for. Not that he'll ever feel the same way. There's very little space he could drive The General and the strip of land within the swamp seemed too confined for his taste. Give him the wide open land any time over the swamp. But there had to be some reason or another that makes people want to live there, to stay there and find comfort in it. But what?*
  9. Well, the points have been reset for the chase that starts this Sunday at Loudon, New Hampshire. Can't say I'm too thrilled with it, but no one asked me. LOL. So here is the top twelve and how they sit in the chase: 1. Denny Hamlin 2. Jimmie Johnson (-10) 3. Kevin Harvick (-20) 4. Kyle Busch (-20) 5. Kurt Busch (-40) 6. Tony Stewart (-50) 7. Greg Biffle (-50) 8. Jeff Gordon (-60) 9. Carl Edwards (-60) 10. Jeff Burton (-60) 11. Matt Kenseth (-60) 12. Clint Bowyer (-60) I got the standings from NASCAR.com and had added the points behind the leader due to how many wins they did have or for Gordon on down that didn't have a win. Hopefully they'll come back during the chase to get a win or two. . .LOL.
  10. Coal Miner's Daughter - Loretta Linn
  11. *Bo nods despite his lack of enthusiasm of being at Molly's place, knowing better to disagree or disobey his uncle. Though truth be known, he'd much rather be back there wrastling them gators they has passed by only minutes ago. Once again, he knows better than to speak his mind and to keep his thoughts to himself. Bo forces a smile at Jesse and unsteadily climbs out of the boat to begin securing the boat to land, making sure the knots are tied thick and strong. Not wanting to lose his only way of escape from Swamp Molly's and Cousin Alice's strip of land. Looking up at Jesse, he forces another smile and says, "All tight and secure."*
  12. Welcome back you two! It's great to see you back...can't get any better than this...Dukes back on TV and the return of a couple of friends online. Welcome back.
  13. It's great to see you back on hnet DaisyxEnos! I haven't seen you for a while! It is great to see the Dukes back on TV again! What a great show...no matter how many times you watch it, it's still great to see! And still funny. . .
  14. Yeah, a definatley a great birthday when you can sit back and watch the Dukes all afternoon! LOL. Glad you had a great one! Take care

  15. Don't look at me Hoss, I don't have a list against you or anyone of any nationality. As I said, I just found it funny the way he said it. Didn't mean to offend you or anyone.
  16. *Eyes Jesse questionably. What did Bo have to do to prove he was going?* "Me? Nervous?" *Bo laughs, oddly feeling more comfortable than he had when he had gotten in the car. Always the one feeling more comfortable doing something rather than planning something. "I've wrastled them a time or two myself. Not comparing myself to you or what you did by any means, but me, nervous of them? That'll be the day." *Bo gets into the boat shaking his head at Jesse, trying to figure out where he is coming from.* "Though if you're nervous, Unle Jesse, I'll be more than glad to jump in there and wrastle it for you if that's what you need." *Bo smiles at Jesse and then looks down at the gator that is watching them keenly.*
  17. Exactly what Roger said. Sorry Hoss...didn't mean nothing against you or any Englishman. Perhaps I should think more before just posting stuf like that. Just thought it was funny how he said it.
  18. *Bo gets out and hauls his duffle bag to the boat and looks in at the gator to send his heart racing in it's own excitement.* "Eh no one said this adventure of your's would be boring, now did they?" *He pats Jesse on the back and gives him a wide smile* "C'mon Jess, you fraid of a little gator?" *Winks at Jesse as he helps Jesse load the boat with Jesse's gear.* "Yee Haa!!!!"
  19. "Duke of Duke" LB Davenport with Bo, Luke, Daisy, and Gaylord Duke. Gaylord calls LB Davenport Mr. Davenport. LB: Mr Davenport. You are nice, talk funny. Daisy: Well Gaylord here is and Englishman LB: Well, we all can't be perfect Don't know if this is where LB would go...I for one always loved ol' LB. Too bad he couldn't cowork the garage with Cooter. My opinion of course
  20. Back when I knew it all - Montgomery Gentry
  21. "Where were you when the World Stopped turning" - Alan Jackson
  22. That's where I belong - Alan Jackson
  23. This doesn't really go anywhere, but felt like posting it. I don't know if any of you really paid all that much attention to number 71 (I think) that is drove by Landon Cassil. I think he is a start and park car where he can only drive a limited miles or laps before he takes it behind the wall. But he drives part time in the number seven JR Nationwide car when Danica Patrick and another driver are not driving it. The only reason he is of interest to me is because he is from Iowa...where I live and am from, in fact after looking it up looks like he was born or lived in a town that is like twenty or thirty minutes away from me. Never heard of him until he made it to the Nationwide Series, but am hoping he will make it big time in Sprint. I am just excited to see a driver that is from Iowa and close to where I live...even if I never met him or see him race. LOL. Read he also helps Henrick Motorsports test drive or something which is the team that Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson and Jr drive for. He is only twenty one years old, so hopefully he has a long successful career ahead of him. As I said, this doesn't really go anywhere, just felt like posting it for some odd reason. I probably wouldn't take that much note from him since he is a start and park car, but knowing he is from Iowa and seeing his name listed to drive in the Sprint Cup, I generally look and see where he is during the race. Hopefully he can move beyond a start and park car and can start every race and not just a limited schedule that he seems to be on this year.
