  1. Right B.L. and DoubleX, it's "Take it Easy" I should check the past pages. You two might have a couple streaks going here. I usually keep up with it on "Duke or Dupe" but, for some reason, don't think about it here. In "Goodbye General Lee" Luke was hypnotized. Before that, something fell off the General Lee when Luke was underneath it and hit him on the head. What was it? A) drive shaft muffler C) transmission D) gas tank
  2. DoubleX and DaisyMae got all 3 of those right. Which of these were on the show? Hazzard Hunting Club or Hazzard Fishing Club Dry Creek Road or Wet Creek Road Jud Stephen Duke or Jeb Stuart Duke
  3. ...as long as Willie Nelson didn't start smoking pot in the Dukesfest outhouse and come out so high that he really did think he was Uncle Jesse. (Sorry Darrell, I'm only being a smart aleck 'cause I know you're the toughest redneck on the Hazzardnet and can handle my sarcasim without crying)
  4. General Grant, if you're asking about "The Beginning", you won't like it. From your past posts, I can tell that you wouldn't enjoy it at all. It's not really Dukes. It's not even close. I've never seen American Pie but I know enough about it to tell that it compares to these "new Dukes" (I cringe every time I say "Dukes" when talking about them because they don't deserve that name.)
  5. I would suspect that the actors in these 2 newer Dukes movies are intelligent enough to know that what they are doing is dramatically different than what was done with the original series. I think we all agree that nobody should be excluded from attending Dukesfest but the issue is how much to celebrate their presence. I remember when I went to a car show in Pennsylvania back in the early 80s and met Cooter, the event was advertised as featuring two celebrities...Ben Jones and some girl who was Playboy's playmate of the year. Needless to say, the line to meet Cooter was a couple hundred feet long and there wasn't a single person in the line to meet the playmate. My point is that, even if these "new Dukes" show up there won't be much interest in them anyway. I'm sure they would have more people in line to meet them than the playmate did but I think they would be embarrassing themselves if they think they would draw much of a crowd. The bottom line is that the shows organizers (like John and Ben) are smart enough to know that if you have to pay "new Dukes" $100,000 to make an appearence, ticket sales will NOT increase by $100,000 so you've lost money. It's all about supply and demand and there's just not much demand for "new Dukes". I don't know how much that playmate was paid but since she didn't sell tickets, the events organizers lost money from that decision. Dukesfest organizers are too smart to make that mistake.
  6. You're right B.L. I guess I didn't make anyone fall for Robot P. Coltrane LOL In the opening scene of "Trouble at Cooter's" Luke and Bo were driving the General and singing what song? A) Country Boy Can Survive On the Road Again C) Take it Easy D) Georgia on my Mind E) the Smurfs theme song
  7. Which of these were on the show? Billy Joe Dupard or Billy Joe Mopar Armadillo Canyon or Ohoopee Pond (episode names) Bo vs Luke or Coy vs Vance
  8. I'm a little confused General Grant. Are you saying that you think Waylon is the opening teaser voice for all the season ONE episodes?
  9. Hey here's an idea for a Hazzard County Christmas party. On Friday (Dec 21) we should all watch "The Great Santa Claus Chase" at 8:00 EST. After that, we can get together and chat about Christmas stuff like that episode, old memories and favorite Christmas cartoons etc. If you don't have that episode you can still join us for the party. I thought Friday at 8 would be a cool idea since that's when the show was originally on. It would sure bring back that old Hazzard Christmas feeling knowing other people are watching that episode at the exact same time. Even if only 2 or 3 folks can go along with this, I'd still like to do it. Hopefully we can get more than that though. I'll bring the egg nog (woops, maybe that's not a good idea....Lori, Laura and General Grant already think I drink way too much of that stuff)
  10. Laura, take your time on "RIP Henry Flatt". Have you had any problems with defective DVDs yet? There have been a couple items posted in the past with people who have.
  11. Whenever a new feller drives into town we always wonder if he (or she) is a serious Duke fan or just a curious tourist who is only going to hang out for a post or two. Well I guess that tattoo answers that question. Welcome to Hazzard County new feller. We're happy to have you. I'm gone.
  12. If you're looking for Dukes fanatics, take it from Lori, ya came to the right place. In fact, we love Dukes so much we make fun of the folks who think it's just a TV show. Everybody on the Hazzardnet knows that Hazzard is real. Don't pay too much attention to Lori though. She always forgets one of the Z's lol
  13. Well it looks likes Christine is gone forever. Way to go you 3!!. By the way, congratulations on your 100th post "Senior Member" General Grant. It's just a shame that 92 of the posts were used to scare nice folks like Christine away with your bad jokes!! LOL We do know how to have fun here in Hazzard, don't we?!
  14. B.L. got all 3 right. Bottomless River Road is from a Coy and Vance episode. Sorry DaisyMae and DoubleX but I made up Bottomless Swamp Trail.
  15. Well I popped two season 1 episodes in last night. "One Armed Bandits" definitely IS Waylon but a late season 1 episode was someone else. I'm not sure how many season 1 episodes Waylon did. Hmmm, another mystery. How many was it?
  16. Nice job you 4. B.L. even got listed Rosco's aunt's name as Clara. (although I'm sure DoubleX and DaisyMae knew that). Hey Lori, you got 3. Hortence is Lulu's (and Rosco's) sister. She appeared in the third season. (The Return of Hughie Hogg) In "10 Million Dollar Sheriff" who did Rosco inherit the money (10 bucks) from? A) Great Uncle Silas P. Coltrane his father Rosco P. Coltrane Sr C) Robot P. Coltrane D) Great Uncle Hosiah P. Coltrane
  17. Yes, Southern Comfurts is from season 2 (episode 23) If you do watch it, after Jesse "negotiates" the land deal to sell the Comfurts farm is when he faints. After he falls over, look real close at the position of his legs....it's hilarious!!!
  18. Right, it's April 1. Can anyone get all 4 of these?...I know I wouldn't have been able to if I wouldn't have just seen Sadie Hogg Day... Which females filled in for these 4 jobs? Boss County Treasurer police officer police officer
  19. Yep, B.L. and DaisyMae got all 3 right. Which of these were on the show? Ben Rothlesberger or Ben Wilkenson Bottomless Swamp Trail or Bottomless River Road Rosco's father or Boss's father
  20. DoubleX is on a roll. It is Clarence. Boss was trying to cheat him out of his pension. Which day of the year is Sadie Hogg Day? A) Jan 1 April 1 C) July 4 D) Oct 31
  21. Right on all 3 DoubleX and DaisyMae. Which of these were on the show? Hogg's Frozen Seafood Inc or Hogg's Frozen Fritters Inc Hazzard Pond or Painted Turtle Creek Poker Run Pass or Pokerville Pass
  22. Hey Lori, I was thinking of you when watching the national news tonight. They showed rescue crews pulling a horse out of a well (or something like that) in Boone County Kentucky. I hope that wasn't one of yours!!
  23. Welcome back, we missed ya. I hope things settle down enough by Christmas that you can relax a little. Congratulations on your fourth little Duke and your promotion!!!! It always feels like the "Welcome Back Bo 'n Luke" episode when someone comes back to the Hazzardnet that's been out of town for awhile....only instead of a NASCAR trophy, you brought back a kid and promotion...COOL!!!
  24. Hey Laura, that reminds me of the line in "Southern Comfurts" (I think that's the episode) where Waylon said that Uncle Jesse is a fairly good country lawyer. Of course, right after that Uncle Jesse fainted!!!
  25. Which of these were on the show? Johnson's Creek or Earnhardt Creek Davenport's Dump or Duggan's Dump (episode names) Happy Birthday Enos or Happy Birthday General Lee
