  2. Yep, you both are right. I'll get back with more later (I might be a couple days since I'm having some computer problems)
  3. *reaches in breast pocket of his bib overalls* Well the first thing we need to take care of is this here little fella *Holds inhaler to Bo's mouth* (I'm having computer problems so may not log in again until it's fixed. Hopefully it won't be more than a day or two)
  4. You got it Lori.....it's 40. I'm having computer problems so I may not be logging in for a day or two depending on how long it takes to get things fixed. I'll catch ya later.
  5. *after a series of yells, minutes later Jesse arrives (carrying tired little Daisy)* There ya are!!!! There ya are!!! My boys!! *sets down Daisy and drops to his knees in tears hugging both his nephews together thinking this was the happiest he'd ever felt in his life*
  6. You're both right. That's code talk for switching to CB channel 17. Alex now has 63 in a row correct. Many CBs had 23 channels in those days but later on, most manufacturers adjusted (adding more) and made the MAJORITY of their CBs with how many channels?

  8. Welcome back to Hazzard County Shannon. Buckle up for safety here on the Hazzardnet 'cause we drive a little fast sometime. I'm gone.
  9. That's a good question TXZ. Hopefully the moderators will see this thread. I bet they'll know. We had a guy last year post a comment to one of my trivia questions. He claimed that he was Jim Bronke. His name appeared as an attorney on the sign in front of the Hazzard County Courthouse and was clearly readable on dozens of episodes. (I suspect he googled his name and Hazzardnet popped up). I'm not sure if it really was him or not but he told a pretty convincing story about how one of the stagehands used his name for the sign because they were friends. I responded but he he never logged on again. Of course that's different because he wasn't really on the show. I see your point. You'd think of the thousands of extras that appeared in 7 years that one of them would have been a big enough fan to post something here. Like you said, it was probably just a job to most of them though. Maybe some of them view Hazzardnet but don't register to post stuff because they think we wouldn't believe them anyway. I sure wish I could have been an extra.....It would have been fun to be one of the guys fishing when the General jumped over him. I know, I know, that's probably a stuntman and not an extra....oh well, ya can't blame a guy for dreaming.
  10. Wow Lori, I'm impressed. I didn't expect anybody to get that. You knew more than I did about that horse. I didn't know it was that long ago. When I posted the question, I didn't put the rest of the quote because it would have been too easy to figure out the answer. Waylon said "With General Lee charging like Man 'O War heading into the home stretch....." Here's another toughie. I'll make it easier by making it a 50/50. When a Duke talking on the CB says "I think it's about time we listened to some country music"...what's that mean? A) I'll meet you back at the farm Switch to channel 17
  11. *looks out toward the yell and responds* Just stay right there boys!!! Me and Daisy is on the way!!!! *looks down at his little neice* Did ya hear that honey? Them boys is right around them pines over there. *aims flashlight through the darkness, too excited to even notice the rain*
  12. *Finally within distance of hearing Luke's yell, Jesse felt as if his heart would pop out of his chest with excited joy* "Luke!!! Luke!!! Yell again so I can tell better which direction yer in!!!!"

  15. Not able to hear Luke's scream, Jesse was unaware that he was getting closer. It was no surprise that Jesse and Daisy couldn't hear Luke.....after all, Jesse's yell was much louder than Luke's and they were still a quarter mile away from each other. Jesse and his neice continued on unaware that the good news was that they were getting closer to the lost boys.
  16. Right Alex. You have 62 in a row correct. Also from "Comrade Duke" when Waylon said "with General Lee charging like Man O' War".... What did he mean? In other words, what's "Man O' War" (hint: consider that this episode aired in 1983)

  19. *feeling dejected after hearing no response Jesse sighs and turns to little Daisy as the two of them start to feel sprinkles* Well Daisy, I guess we'll just head on over to that cave anyhow and if we don't find them cousins of yours then we'll just figure out where to go next. *his voice sounded fun and lighthearted so Daisy couldn't sense his panic*

That's okay if you can't make it Daisy. Even if only one other person shows up, I'll still do it though. If not, there's always posts to check out. There's always something going on here in Hazzard County.
  21. *with a combination of adrenalin and fear overtaking his senses, Jesse repeats the yell from the bottom of his powerful lungs*
  22. Hey 2 Lost Good Ole Boys, That's a great tribute to your friends. I really felt your pain when I read that. Sometimes when I hit my brakes hard or something, I'll say to myself "Hang on Cousin" and think of my cousin Bobby (who was my best friend). He was killed in August of 1979. It's been a long time now but for some reason, I think of Dukes a lot when I think of him. Probably one of the reasons is that we talked about how great the Dukes were in the last conversation I had with him. (At the times, the Dukes of Hazzard show had only existed for a few months) If he were alive today, I have no doubt he's still be a Dukes fan....he'd probably go by Bobby Duke on the Hazzarnet!!

I'll be there Monday at 9 (EST).
