Well, it's like they say, it's not the quantity of posts that count but the quality. Look at me for example, I've put up quite a few posts but still haven't managed to create one of any quality. In fact, me and Brian Coltrane are in a race to see who can create the most posts without putting up a single one that has any quality whatsoever (not counting bad quality). I think I'm doing a pretty good job. In fact, this post is one of my better examples. Let's see if Brian can top it.

I really like the way BoJamesDuke is so positive about everything that is Dukes related. I remember (probably about a year and a half ago) I once posted something negative about the episode "Strange Visitor to Hazzard" and Bo responded to my post with praise for that episode. Well, it's supposed to be older people who give good advice to younger ones, but even though Bo is younger than my kids, the advice was excellent. Since that advice, I've watched the entire DVD set completely twice and both times I saw that episode again, I liked it. I don't know if I'd feel any different about the reunion shows if I ever saw them again but little things like Bo's comments sure can make a difference.....not just in how people look at a TV show but how they look at life. Also, thanks for the compliment dukefan. Trust me, the feeling is mutual. You're a true Hazzardite.

Speaking of "Happy Birthday General Lee" they didn't talk too much about birthdays on the show. They had a birthday party for the General but I can't remember a birthday party for anybody else. My memory must be failing me because there must have been a birthday party or two somewhere in the 7 years. I'll probably remember one as soon as I log off. In the meantime, can anybody think of any?

Now I know why you're such a great leader Meadowmuffin. You really have a way of motivating your followers. For example, telling me that I'm in second place to Brian just makes me want to tell even stupider jokes. I'm going to prove to everybody that I'm smart enough to become the stupidest person here.

I used to watch Grizzley Adams but I didn't remember Denver narrating the show. Thanks for that info Daisy. You folks will think this is funny. Whenever I go to a gas station and get gas on pump number 7, I always think of that mule. This is even funnier. The place where I get gas has a college-age guy who works there and his name is Jesse!!! I'm not kidding. I asked him if he was named after Uncle Jesse and he said no. He does like the show though!!

Thanks Daney. Well, she had a little boy so this means that we're going to have family in from out of town on Saturday. That's the good news. The bad news is that I won't be making it to Canton on Saturday. I hope everybody else has fun though.

We've covered these reunion shows before and I've been the only one who doesn't like them from what I can remember. I can certainly understand why everyone disagrees with me and I respect everybody. It's one of those things in life that....even though you know you should think a certain way, you just can't no matter how hard you try......so I suppose I'm all alone on this one. I don't mind. I look at this way. At least it earned me one of the best complimemts I've ever gotten in my life.... "You're hard core when it comes to the Dukes of Hazzard" Thanks dukefan, that put a big smile on my face. Yes, I suppose I am. *smiles again* I do take my Dukes seriousely.....possum on a gumbush!!!!

I know what you mean dukefan. I don't have anything around my place that honors the Dukes either. You know it's funny, I try so hard to be an open minded person and understand other people and what makes them tick. For the life of me though, I can't understand why the Dukes of Hazzard isn't everybody's favorite show. If everybody had the good taste in entertainment us HazzardNet folks have, there would be a Dukes store/musuem/meeting place/fan club in every town in this world.

Congratulations on your fourth year dukefan. Since you've been back, your enthusiasm has been contagious. You have provided several exellent sparks that have generated a lot of interest in quite a few subjects. There are all kinds of folks here on the HazzardNet and they are indeed like family. You are one of the many family members who really keeps this place fun and invigorating so please keep up the good work. It's always a pleasure to open a new thread and see what surprise you have waiting for us next. YEEEHHHAAAWWW!!!!
