  1. Very impressive Bo!!! I would have said barrel too but if you watch that episode you'll see that Jesse was being cute and changed that old phrase around a little bit. Whose rarely seen house was shown on "Baa Baa White Sheep"? (I'm not sure but I think this is the only episode that we ever saw this house.) A) Cooter Rosco C) Enos D) Cletus
  2. Charlie's Angels debuted in 1976 and was my favorite show before Dukes came out 3 years later. Like all 16 year old boys, I was in love with Farrah and the blue and white Mustang she drove on the show. I hope she's resting in peace.
  3. pay day
  4. I've had that problem before too Bo. B.L., daisyxenos and Bo all got it right. Complete the line from Jesse when Boss foreclosed on the farm on "The Late J.D. Hogg" "Boss owns our home place lock, stock and......." A) barrel tractor C) fence posts D) Maudeen
  5. Lori, I like you so much so I'm not really too excited about debating but since we have so much respect for each other, I don't think I'll upset you by saying this. 1) I agree that Uncle Jesse taught his kids the Golden Rule 2) I agree that Uncle Jesse would not want to bash anybody. 3) I agree that nobody on this website should bash anybody for liking the movie 4) I agree that we should RESPECTFULLY disagree with each other on this issue. 5) I agree that you can be a true Dukes fan and still like the movie Now, can I get you to agree with me on something? If Jesse would have seen this movie at the Hazzard Theater he wouldn't have liked it at all. Sure, he would have enjoyed a few scenes and not bashed people who liked it, but overall, he would have RESPECTFULLY given it two thumbs down.
  6. Denver C got another one right. Description: James Best's daughter Janeen shows up in Hazzard with a baby.
  7. redneck woman
  8. Wow, I sure like this idea Elly May. I need more time to think about it but the first song that popped into my head is the song "Boondocks" that was popular a year or two ago. It would be awesome to hear the "Duke Family Singers" doing that one. By the way, is the episode you mentioned "Opening Night at the Boar's Nest"?
  9. It's funny that you should mention "Lord of the Rings". I've been putting ideas down in a notebook the last few months and plan to start writing a book that is similiar to that type of story. I'm realistic about the chance in a million that it will ever get published. I wrote a romantic fiction called "Wolfe Mountain" and I learned from that how hard it is to get someone to even look at it. Still, I don't care. "Wolfe Mountain" took 3 years to write and from that experience I know that this new project will take about 10 years but I'm just doing it for fun so if it doesn't sell, the least I can do is pass it down to my heirs. Who knows, maybe a grandchild or great-grandchild will improve on it and make it succeed. It's going to be time consuming but it won't cut into my Dukes stuff. It might cut into me getting the lawn mowed though...LOL
  10. Everybody's right. ....even Bo who answered one from the previous page. When I get time I should go back and check for streaks. I get the feeling that a couple folks might have gotten quite a few in a row correct at this point. What did Hoyt Axton call Boss at the end of "Good Neighbors Duke"? (Waylon said that this word means "good 'ole boy gone bad") A) vortex valet C) vixen D) vittles E) varlet F) volvo
  11. I bet your dad will.

  13. Here's some of her biggest hits. You might not recognize them but any country music fan over 45 will recognize at least a couple of these. Please help me I'm falling She's single again Let's stop talking about it He's a heartache looking for a place to happen It ain't easy being easy Don't worry about me baby I need someone to hold me when I cry Down to my last broken heart Come a little bit closer
  14. Well I wasn't really a fan of hers and I can't even think of what her biggest hit was. Maybe someone can google her name and look it up. If not, I will later. I'm curious now that I think of it. It bothers me that I can't think of her biggest songs.
  15. Here's a hint. This episode was filmed in Georgia.
  16. hospital
  17. I think mine is called a Zenstone or something like that. I don't think it holds a lot of songs but I don't care because there's only a handful of singers I really like......and the ones I do like I'm extremely loyal to. The only CDs I have in addition to the ones I mentioned in the last post are Elvis, Patsy Cline and Sade (but Sade ain't country)
  18. Happy Birthday General Lee is one of my favorite episodes. It was so awesome that the makers of Dukes decided to produce an episode like that. Since you two are relatively new to the HazzardNet I was wondering if you knew that the lady thief who had the General at the beginning is country music singer Janie Fricke?
  19. Sorry to get off the subject (I'm still on the subject of country singers though) I got an MP3 player a few months ago but only recently used it (maybe about 2 weeks ago) Anyway, this weekend I went on a little trip and used it extensively for the first time. Let me just say that I now know why you youngsters like them contraptions so much. It was pretty cool to hear Charlie Daniels, Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams Jr and Sr, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Horton and The Dukes soundtrack (1981) for such an extended time and in such high quality. I'm not saying that I'm going high-tech. In general, I'm not a big fan of technology.....but as long as it exposes me to more Dukes and classic country I suppose I can make an exception.
  20. Denver C and dukefan1 both got it right Description: Waylon's wife might not make an appearence in this episode but she's mentioned quite a few times.

  22. Well, 10,000 posts is pretty impressive!!

  23. Congratulations on post number 10,000 daisyxenos!!! You've certainly been a welcome addition to this website. Have fun with your next 10,000. YEEEHHHHAAAWWWW!!!

  24. Right as usual B.L. and daisyxenos From "Uncle Boss" how did the video tape that framed the Dukes for a jailbreak get destroyed? A) thrown into a wood chipper thrown into a burn barrel C) a giant magnet scrambled it D) car crusher at Hazzard Junkyard
