  1. Good to have you Silva. Your name sounds familiar. Have you been here before?
  2. It was Swamp Molly where it blew up? Thanks Skipper. I thought it was a Georgia ep. That's twice in one week I've done that. I thought Cooter went through the door with the motorcycle on a Georgia ep but it was Luke's Love Story.. Getting forgetful.
  3. Not even Cooter can fix it now. Condolences to the families....especially the one that lost 2 family members. One was just getting started in life.
  4. BOSS A.C. Tate Jr of Chickasaw County (I just watched Follow That Still. When Luke challenged Boss Hogg to state what war he was in, Boss responded that he "was in three and a half wars on the homefront")
  5. Guess it wasn't a Georgia episode after all.
  6. Just checked out the scene on Luke's Love Story where Cooter drives the motorcycle into the Boar's Nest. I must not have put it on the list that I put together awhile back because I thought it was a street bike. The only thing about it that makes it look like a dirt bike is the high front fender. I suspect it is a dual sport. That's a motorcycle that can also be called a "street legal dirt bike". We called them street-trails back then but some people called them enduros. Maybe the Hoss Detective Agency can help to identify the motorcycle and possibly even post a picture.
  7. Season 2 ROAD PIRATES.....4 dirt bikes in the last 10 minutes of ep MASON DIXON'S GIRLS.....2 dirt bikes that didn't get ridden Season 3 CARNIVAL OF THRILLS....stunt show ALONG CAME A DUKE....Jeb Stuart Duke in several scenes THE GREAT HAZZARD HIJACK....4 dirt bikes, brief scene THE HACK OF HAZZARD....debut of Emma Tisdale's dirt bike. Rode a wheelie at beginning on way to visit her mother Season 4 THE FUGITIVE.....Best dirt bike episode of all. Lots of bikes! DOUBLE DUKES....Emma delivers package to Boss on bike CLETUS FALLS IN LOVE...Emma almost hits Cletus on her bike MIZ TIZDALE ON THE LAM.....4 scenes with Emma's dirt bike. Later gets a loaner street bike with side car and rides Jesse around Season 5 COY MEETS GIRL......one brief scene COY VS VANCE.....stunt sister thieves LAWMAN OF THE YEAR....2 scenes of Emma delivering mail THE RETURN OF THE MEAN GREEN MACHINE....Emma has dirt bike with side car and picks up a stranded Enos. Rosco and Boss take the machine over, Rosco driving and Boss in sidecar with bazooka Season 6 TWIN TROUBLE....not dirt bikes but Hazzard sheriff department gets 3-wheelers A BOYS BEST FRIEND....The Flats is the local dirt bike hangout. Bo and Luke borrowed 2 dirt bikes there
  8. I just finished a list of all the dirt bikes that were on the Dukes of Hazzard and will post it shortly. If anybody knows of any errors let me know. Please note that these are dirt bikes only, not street bikes. There were dirt bikes in 6 of the episodes Miz Tisdale was on. She was in 11 episodes. She was also mentioned on 3 other eps but didn't appear. According to my numbers, there were 16 episodes that had dirt bikes in them....at least. I wouldn't be surprised if I find more. Come to think of it.....what kind of bike was it that Cooter used to bust down the door of the Boar's Nest in a Georgia ep? Sounds like I have more work to do.
  9. Hey Skipper, do us a favor and see if you can gather info on Facebook about Ray Kohn. I heard he had brain surgery or something. See if that is true.
  10. Droopy played a great sheriff. And Cassius was a great bad guy. What a duo!
  11. Sorry to hear about your problems Jim. I bought my DVDs as soon as they came out (in phases) and haven't had any trouble except for a few episodes that have bad spots in them.
  12. I like the yellow one from the Georgia episodes. It has the most grease on it. I also like the ones with Georgia themes, Falcons, Braves and Special Olympics.
  13. Me too. Hopefully Spike's dad will find a road to recovery. Looks like another warm sunny day. I have more yard work, wood splitting and dirt biking ahead of me.
  14. They still have air left so hopefully this will have a happy ending.
  15. Sorry to hear that Spike. That is especially tough since today was Father's Day. Do you think medication is affecting him? Some of that stuff can have side effects that mess with your personality.
  16. Every Duke fan knows about Bo blowing up the outhouse and destroying all Luke's car magazines but here is a scene I was just reminded of, when watching The Return of the Mean Green Machine from season 5. Miz Tisdale was delivering the mail in her dirt bike/sidecar when she came across Enos, who was stranded because mean green had pushed his car in the ditch. Enos hopped in the side car and they didn't get far before Boss and Rosco flagged them down and took the motorcycle. They needed it because Rosco destroyed his sheriff's car with a bazooka. Rosco drove the motorcycle and Boss was in the sidecar firing the bazooka at mean green but had a terrible aim and hit an outhouse. They went back 4 years and used the same footage from Georgia!
  17. Happy Birthday today Emma. Hopefully Jesse will give you a little kiss and maybe even some flowers. I've been going through Emma's 12 episodes (13 if you count Close Call for Daisy where she was mentioned but not seen in season 6). She made her debut in season 3 "Enos Strate to the Top" as postmistress but was working at the Hazzard Gazzette in "The Great Hazzard Hijack". I thought her dirt bike made a debut in season 4 Double Dukes but forgot it was season 3 in "The Hack of Hazzard" where the Dukes took over the cab company and post office. At the beginning she road a wheelie on the way to visit her mother.
  18. I don't ever remember seeing this thread. Thanks to DukesFan16 for reviving it!.....and welcome to the HazzardNet DF16. We hope to hear more from you. Is Cooter your favorite character?
  19. Rufus Z Coltrane (I'm absolutely positive the word Vietnam was never mentioned. I don't think any war was specifically. When Boss was dedicating a memorial in "Follow That Still" he and Luke weren't specific. And as we mentioned, the V-word wasn't mentioned in "The Great Hazzard Hijack". The only other one I can think of is "One Armed Bandits" where Boss said he was in 2 wars (contradicted in Follow That Still). Those wars would have been WW2 and Korea. I'm surprised the writers never made Jesse a WW2 vet.)
  20. Boss hates bank eXaminers. (you are right Hobie. It had to have been Vietnam. It officially ended in 1975 but America had been out of it before that)
  21. Looking good. As always, thanks for keeping us updated. Great progress!
