  1. Our thoughts and prayers are with you JPB. You know what they say.....having a long streak of bad luck means that you're due for a long streak of good luck. It's the law of averages. I have a feeling that things are going to change for the better for you.
  2. Here we are, Friday night and it still hasn't stopped raining. Flooding has been minimal because the rain is seldom hard. That means the creeks have plenty of time to dump it all into Lake Erie. It sure has been a long time since I've seen sunshine but considering what other folks have been through I shouldn't complain. There's still millions without power and our lights haven't even flickered throughout this whole ordeal.
  3. We're not out of the woods yet. It rained all day and is supposed to rain all night and most of the day tomorrow. Flooding is starting to become a problem in the low lying areas. We're fine where we're at but folks near creeks could end up with problems. Still, it's nothing like New Jersey and surrounding areas. The pictures and videos coming out of there are horrific.
  4. LOL That's hilarious! Hey Hoss, is that a picture of you? I thought you were younger. It must be you because you're the most interesting man on the HazzardNet. Umm, that's the little girl who ran away and was rescued by the Dukes and had such a big crush on Coy. When they first met her they thought she was a boy. I can't think of the episode.
  5. We've had a lot of rain, downed branches and wind up here on Lake Erie in NW Pennsylvania but no major damage. We've certainly been lucky compared to other folks. I'm going to have a lot of branches to clean up on my trails but that's a minor problem compared to what other folks are going through. We still have a lot more rain coming but most of the flooding has been minor here and has been in the areas near creeks that are used to it.
  6. Hi Jamie and welcome to Hazzard County. You're going to love it here. Congratulations on your restoration completion.
  7. Thanks for the update Garrett. JJ sure has been coming on strong lately. If I was one of the other drivers I'd be nervous over how well he's been doing.
  8. Well, I'll be honest. I don't really know.
  9. Happy birthday Val. We love you! *hugs*
  10. Who needs good roads when you have 4-wheelers? LOL With 4-wheelers, good roads are boring. (I guess that would make them bad roads.) I'm not making much sense am I?
  11. Hmmm, that doesn't sound right. I don't ever remember them showing Dukes twice a week, let alone twice a day. I do know that they were shown daily in the afternoons in 1985 because I was watching them around 5pm when the electric went out and my hometown (3 miles away) was destroyed by a tornado. At the time I thought that I was having bad luck, missing my Dukes. I didn't find out until later that there was a lot of folks having a lot worse luck than me that day. I bet there was a week where they had two new episodes in one week. That sounds more like it. The more I think about it, the more it's ringing a distant bell.
  12. Sure he would.... as long as you provide the 37,194 tons of road salt he'll need to keep the tracks ice-free. (That's just an estimate. Actual tonnage will vary depending on the severity of the winter.)
  13. up (has anyone seen that "leg up on the competition" commercial?)
  14. What a fantastic piece of artwork. Make two and send one to me.
  15. I do know that the light is on a circuit breaker so I will be able to ask them to turn it off. It's just a matter of bothering them. They've been such good neighbors I hate to be a bother but I guess I'll have no choice. Thankfully they're our only neighbor and I'll never have to worry about any more lights since we own the property across the road and I'll never sell it. HI DAISYMAE!
  16. arm (I'll try to jump start this by responding to my own)
