Meanwhile the Dukes arrive at the farm, followed by Arthur. They tell everything to uncle Jesse, who looks at that cop, not knowing if he can trust him or not. Anyway, Enos told Arthur to go at the farm, so uncle Jesse decides to trust him.

So Bo drives the General Lee towards the farm; in the car nobody (Bo. Luke, Daisy and Julie) talks. Arthur Bandini is following them with his car. Since they left Hazzard he didn't say anything. meanwhile Enos is at the police station, worried.

Enos and Bandini go out the police station, approaching the Dukes. Enos looks a them, whereas bandini remains silent "It's better you go at home now. Bandini will come with you and I'll stay here. I have some job to do, then I'll reach you at the farm" Daisy flods her arms, looking at Enos "Enos, what's happening? You know that I don't like you hide something to us. We're friends" (Cue anyone)

Daisy looks at the sky "I hope that you're wrong, Julie" At that moment, Luke approaches them. His cousins looks at him "Did you find out what's happening" Luke looks around, worried "Yes. I think that here in Hazzard there's someone we know very well, unfortunately. Julie, you doesn't know what's happened few years ago when some felons took us hostage.." Daisy interrupts Luke "She know 'bout it. Whereas you were trying to find out what's happening, we're waiting for you and we've talked 'bout it. I don't know why I rembered it, anyway....." Luke smiles "What a strange thing to remember it right now" then his look becomes again serious "Unfortunately those felons are back" Bo looks at Julie and then at his cousins "Come on. It's better to go now. Uncle Jesse is waiting for us. I think that Daisy remembered those felons 'cause Arthur Bandini. I feel like I met him before, and maybe Daisy have the same feeling, and somehow that man made her remember those felons. I don't know why, but we'll find out averything 'bout that cop"

Daisy looks at Julie "Do you think that somebody comes you and Bo? Why? And why only you and Bo and not all our family? Anyway, I haven't see any strangers right now, and I remember those felons. I can't forget them. The only stranger we met is that Arthur Bandini. Don't worry, Julie. They can't be again in Hazzard"

Meanwhile Daisy was looking at everything was going on silently. After Julie question she shakes her head, smiling "Julie, you're only 18 years old. That man is about 30 years old, like Enos and Luke. So think about boys you'll meet at University" In effect Arthur Bandini is very cute (tall, slim, dark hair and dark eyes), but Daisy prefers Enos, even if she doesn't openly admit it. Then Daisy continues "Bo is right. It's better to go". Daisy too feels something's wrong.

Enos and Arthur go in the police station, so Julie and Bo wait for them, wondering what's happenig. Bo's wondering why that cop seems to know Julie and why he tried to talk with her. Then he looks at her young sister "It's better to go at the farm, Julie; there's something wrong"

The man smiles again "My name is Arthur Bandini. I'm a cop from Italy. Sorry me again signirina. I won't annoy you anymore" then he lookes again at Enos. "I would like to talk with you, officer" (cue Julie)

Enos says "Hey sir. What's the problem with that girl? I think that this girl has just told you that she doesn't want to come with you. Do you understand english?" The man looks at the deputy coming near him, so he smiles. "Sorry officer, I'm mistaking this girl with someone else" the he looks at Julie "Sorry signorina" (in english means "miss, or young lady") (cue Julie. Hey, why the italian man have do be the bad boy? LOL)

Bo seems very worried 'bout that man. He knows that he met him somewhere but he doesn't remember where. The man approaches.

Anna nodded "You're right, Julie. Enos was very shocked 'bout Daisy's slap, and I don't know where he's now. We have to find him. I hope he's OK" "Anna is right" said Bo "It's unusual for Enos to run away. He never run away. Go" But where was Enos? (Cue anyone. Hey, I really don't know where Enos is and what he's doing. So, Hazzard folks, help me to search him. LOL)

"My fault? Julie, it's not my fault if Daisy is jealous and she slapped him. I love Enos, it's true, but for Enos's happyness I'll give up 'cause I know he loves her. But, Daisy, if you don't love Enos, well, he'll be mine. It's your choice" Anna words shocked Dukes cousins. Everyone now was looking at her.

Daisy hugged Julie. She was glad to see her cousin, 'cause she wanted to talk with another woman (except Anna) and not with Bo and Luke. "Oh Julie, I'm so stupid. I'm very stupid. Enos....." but her sobs confused her words. Anna looked at Daisy crying on Julie's shoulder. "Daisy, come on. Enos loves you, I know it. We have to find him, and you two you have to talk" At that moment Bo and Luke arrived and saw everything. Bo looked at the three women "Find? Why do you have to find Enos?" "He has gone, but we don't know where" "Gone?" Luke asked "So he run away. Girls, you've scared him"

Chapter 1 Looking out of the window, Daisy remembered ………………………………… -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Daisy left the farm to go to the Boar’s Nest. She felt immediately that the wind was very cold, so she was glad she was wearing her scarf and her coat. She was driving her jeep towards the Boar’s Nest looking at the clouds and wondering if it was going to rain when she met Enos. He stopped his car in front of her jeep. “ Hi, Dais †he said with his usual wide smile, coming out his patrol car. “Hi sugar. Do you want to arrest me ‘cause I was speeding? But if you arrest me Boss Hogg will fire me ‘cause I’ll be late for work. So please, let me go and I’ll do everything you want. What do you want from me, honey?â€. Daisy liked to joke with Enos using her charm to disconcert him. Enos blushed as usual and Daisy laughed. “I don’t want to arrest you, Daisy, but to warn you that it’s going to snow, maybe a blizzard, so be careful and don’t speed too much†“A blizzard? In effect today it’s extremely cold†Enos nodded and Daisy noticed he was wearing his black jacket (the jacket that Enos and Rosco usually wore during winter). “I have to go now, bye Dais. When she looked out she saw a fluffy white cover on everything, but the snow wasn’t too much thick. “A blizzard†she shook her head “It’s only snowing†Daisy liked snow ’cause everything was so peaceful and noiseless under the snow; it seemed the world was sleeping. Thinking ‘bout it she sighed; she would have liked to be at home, looking the snow falling through her bedroom’s window, but unfortunately she was working. Blasts from the door were more and more pesky and cold, so Daisy envied her cousins who were at the farm, enjoying fire-place’s warmth. But when she thought that Enos was somewhere, outside in the snow, her envy for her cousins disappeared and she began to worried ‘bout her friend; she couldn’t help but worrying ‘bout Enos. The frenetic work at the Boar’s Nest distracted Daisy and at the same time warmed her, so she didn’t saw what’s happening outside nor she froze anymore. After the last customer left, she sat, exhausted. She was feeling a whistle in her ears. “Oh my God. I’m so tired that my ears are whistling. I need to go home, take a hot bath and sleep until tomorrow comes†But when she tried to go out, she understood what that whistle was, and it wasn’t from her ears. She entered again in the Boar’s Nest, scared. She took the phone but it didn’t work. So she took the CB. “This is Daisy Duke speaking. I’m blocked in the Boar’s Nest. Is someone hearing me?†The CB whizzed a bit, then she heard Enos’s voice. “Daisy? I’m coming. I’m near the Boar’s Nest. Don’t try to go out. Wait for me.†Daisy sighed, relieved. “Oh thanks Enos. I’m waiting for you†-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finally Enos entered the Boar’s Nest. Daisy hugged him “Oh Enos, I was so scared†Enos looked at her, worried “Why are you here, Daisy? You had to left when you saw the snow becoming thicker and thicker. Boss Hogg would have let you go home and close the Boar’s Nest before than usual because of the blizzard, if only you had called him and asked him†Daisy nodded “You’re right, Enos. But I didn’t realize what’s happening outside. Bring me home, please. My jeep is blocked†Enos shook his head. “It’s better to stay here until the blizzard stops. It’s dangerous to go out†Daisy took his hand “But you were out, and you managed to come here. Is it so dangerous?†Enos smiled sweetly, “It doesn’t matter if it’s dangerous for me ‘cause it’s my duty, but I don’t want to put your life in danger†Daisy squeezed his hand “Please Enos, bring me home†The only thing Daisy wanted at that time was to reach her beloved farm, so Enos agreed even if he thought it wasn’t a good idea, “Ok Daisy, come onâ€. He wasn’t able to say no to Daisy. At the farm, uncle Jesse, Bo and Luke were worried for Daisy. The phone didn’t work, and Daisy didn’t answer when they tried to call her with the CB. Luke was wearing his jacket, “We have to find her, uncle Jesse. Maybe she’s blocked in the snowâ€, but uncle Jesse stopped him. “It’s dangerous to go out now. You’re cousin is enough clever to stay at the Boar’s Nest until the blizzard stopsâ€.

Anna looked into Daisy's eyes, "Why did you slap him?" Daisy was surprised 'bout Anna's question. How did she know about it? Did Enos tell her everything? Daisy felt again that pesky feeling called jealousy; she wanted to be Enos's unique bosom-friend. She hated Enos didn't talk to her 'bout his problem, but she knew that it wasn't his fault, 'cause this time his problem was her. She was stupidly pushing Enos into Anna's arms. Anna sighed. "Oh my God, Daisy. Are you so jealous 'bout my friendship with Enos? You can't ignore Enos's feelings for you. Me too I can't ignore it. I can only hope he'd love me, but I know he loves you. Even when he was kissing me I knew he loves you, so.." "WHAT?" Daisy stopped her "did he kiss you?" and again she felt a rush of jealousy. Enos never kissed her; and when she tried to kiss him, he always froze. (cue anyone)

Prologue Daisy was sleeping deeply. She felt warmth and a sweet scent around her. She nestled under the bed-clothes, inhaling that scent. But when she turned over she felt another body near her. Was it another body or was it a dream? She stretched out a leg, touching another leg (longer and stronger than her one). She touched with her hands a chest under a shirt; without open her eyes she let her hands run over that shirt. She felt the same warmth and scent. She turned over again, scared. She took a deep breath and she opened her eyes, wondering where she was. She realized she wasn’t at the farm, but it wasn’t a unknown place. She recognized the wallpaper and everything else in that small room: the table, the sofa, the closet with the mirror. Looking that room she understood who was sleeping near her. She could feel his breath behind her neck. She sat on the bed turning her head towards Enos. She stared at him who was sleeping deeply in fetal position. She smiled, then she tried to remember why she was there and why she was wearing an Enos’s t-shirt. And why he had a band-aid on his left cheek. Looking outside the window she saw a thick snow falling. And she remembered.

Enos was kissing Anna, but suddenly he stopped. "What am I doing?" he wondered. "Sorry Anna... I didn't... It's better I go" He stood up and left Anna's apartment quickly, before she could say something. He was again in front of Anna's door, but this time he didn't stop; he didn't reach his apartment but he left the boarding house, driving his car away from home. He didn't know where to go, but away from both Daisy and Anna. Daisy didn't meet Enos driving away from Hazzard. When she arrived at the boarding house, she knocked at his door but he didn't answer. Before Daisy left, Anna opened her apartment's door. "Daisy?" (cue anyone)
