Jamie ignored her and ran up the stairs and into her room, slamming the door shut behind her and leaning against the door, hand across her mouth as she tried to keep the loud sobs she could feel building up in her throat.
Jaimie quickly pulled herself out the nightmare and opened her eyes, tearing her hand away from Luke's head quickly and running out the room, not seeing whether Luke was awake or not.
Bo laughed and shook his head. "You know I recon your the first girl to complain about our 'indecent exposure'...I tol' you Luke, you need to keep toned otherwise you just scare girls away!"
Bo whistled low with a chuckle, shrugging off his shirt and picking up a tool in his good hand, bending over the engine. "We got a long day ahead o'us with this thing..."
Bo shuddered and lay panting for breath on the cold cement floor, shaking his head a little and muttering out as best he could through swollen lips and lack of breath. "No...Noo..."
Bo laughed and nodded "Yeah lookie here, its me..." He said with a wink, looking under the hood and doing a double take. "Woah...boy is this engine a mess...what you been doin' to it Lori?"

Bo headed in to Uncle Jesse and explained what had happened, getting a lecture about looking before he leapt as his hand was treated with many yelps of pain and loud protestations as Jesse pocked and prodded the tender areas before finally bandaging it up. Before Jesse could ask about the incident that had landed him in jail, Bo was back out the door and heading over to Luke and Lori, whistling.
Bo's eyes were fluttering open and closed as he breathed hard through his pain, moaning as he was held up by his hair, trying not to look at Luke and hear his cries. Jaime shook her head, begging quietly for them to let the other man go.
Bo sighed and nodded. "Alright...i'll go inside an' let Uncle Jesse look at it and get it cleaned up...but i'm comin' back out again afterwards...even if it is just to stand around and watch. You been away too long Lori Davenport for me to quit on ya now...I wanna hear all yer adventures." He said with a cheeky smile, but underneath it was the serious undertones that he knew she got nervous around Luke on her own and so would stay with her.
Bo landed with a sickening thud on the cold floor, crying out and wheezing in pain as he was kicked in the stomach, spitting up blood as he lay bound and shaking on the floor. Jaimie covered her mouth, biting her bottom lip as she watched the scene before her, wanting so badly to pull out but she couldn't.
Bo shook his head, swallowing hard and looking down to his hand as it throbbed with pain. "Guess that'll teach me not to assume the windows are down...." He muttered
Bo yelled in pain, tears streaking from his eyes and mingling with the blood that was trickling from his jaw, gasping and panting in pain. Jaimie watched horrified, swallowing hard.
Bo nodded and did so, patting the General fondly as he did with a smile before heading back over and putting the tool box on the floor before leaning into the driver side window....only to be met with a solid glass window. He yelped and hissed in pain as his fist met glass, cracking a few of his fingers.
Jaimie bit her lip and looked to the kitchen worriedly...she knew her mother had warned her against using it again...but what Luke was dreaming about could give them a clue to finding the one he was talking about. Swallowing, she gently put her hand to Luke's head, palm down and closed her eyes, looking into Luke's mind and the nightmare he was seeing.
(Ignoring the last double post lol) Bo nodded with a smile, glad the distraction with Lori had gotten him off the hook with Uncle Jesse. He would rather not explain how his being in jail had come about again, and was happy to quickly scamper off with Lori to help her with her car. The engine was no where near as powerful as the General's, but it was special all the same, like he had thought before - the black '69 could have been the General's brother.
"Or maybe it was because someone was tryin' ta break the suspensions tryin' an' failin' to prove he could jump the General further than I could...." He shot back
"Well if I didn't have to borrow a rubbishy loner from Cooter then I could have used the General and wouldn't have got jailed in the first place...'cept a certain someone forgot to tune him last night and so had to do it this mornin'..." He said right back.
Jaimie sighed and went back to watching Luke sleeping, brushing a lock of hair back from his forehead a little. At 13, she was barely allowed a life of her own outside of school at all because of her 'gift' and her mother's controlling attitude. She knew her mother was frightened about people finding out about her, but she thought her self old enough now to be able to hide it by herself...she just wanted friends...that's why she snuck out so often...she was just glad her mum was distracted by the stranger who she had found...
