  1. Bo finally tore his eyes away from the landscape and looked to his older cousin, one of the few faces that had always been constant in his life. The one person he could confide absoutly everything with, the one person who had supported him through absolutly everything even when others doubted him. "Been a long time ain't it.."
  2. Bo nodded a little, finishing off Luke's unfinished sentence in his head as was a usual occurance between the boys. He too wished that some things could have stayed the same, like Luke never having gone to Vietnam for example...but then again he was glad some things had changed. Without change they would all be stuck in a rutt.
  3. Bo glanced to Luke as he felt the familiar hand on his shoulder, smiling a little as Luke silently joined in his silent tribute to the farm and everything it meant to the family. For a long while, they just stood there together in silence as many many thoughts ran through their heads, it was of course Bo who broke the silence first. "No matter how many times I see this landscape somethin's always changed..."
  4. lol or for us who have that movie on DVD...its on every night till the end of december lmao. It is such a great movie, shame John and Tom never really talk about it
  5. OKay people, This is where you come into the story. When we were little is going to be a flashback story but what we need is ideas for flashbacks from you. Have you heard something in the show you would like to be explored - Luke's swinging of a baseball bat at Bo's head for instance. We need you to post them here so we can put them into the story, so come up with some good ones!!
  6. (Okay everyone, i'm back and hopefully some co-writers will come back with me too. The ones I'd like to request to join in are DaisyMaeDuke and B.L Davenport, no one else please ;-) ) Bo whistled as he tossed his work gloves in the space they belonged in the barn, walking back outside to the yard. On the way past, he gave Maudine an affectionate pat before plucking his shirt off the fence post he had just got done mending. He shrugged it onto his shoulders and leant on the now sturdy fixed fence with a smile, looking around the farm yard that had been his home when he had been only 6 months old. He didn't know any other life, any other people who had been his family and he was happy with that. He was content to accept things the way they were, and look back on all the happy memories he had with those people over the years. The farm alone brought back so many, as long as the little reminders around the farm that sparked even more.
  7. lol why you read some of my stuff?
  8. Hey, my name is Anakin's Girl 4eva
  9. OKay I am determined to find out now...i'm gonna mail John lol
  10. Yeah...just thinking that if its not on his own discography on his website its probably not one he actually brought out.
  11. Hey buddy, Glad you finally got around to posting on here...I warn you its addictive...
  12. That jump was so awsome though...John's gonna try and break that record at Dukesfest 2008...he said on the Graham Norton Show 'No we're not gonna jump it...I'm gonna hire some maniac to do it..."
  13. lol yeah it would....though I dont think that album was out for sale, I think it was just made for him as a trial one...its certainly not on any of his discoographies.
  14. Well my chapters which I post on fan fiction.net, are usually about 4-5 word pages long. If you want to post it on here, all you have to do is copy and paste the text from word which is really easy :-) If you want, write it out on word then send it to me in an email and i'll read it through and tell you what I think before you post it
  15. All John;s songs are now mine, even his earlier stuff! Wooooo
  16. Hey now don't give up so eaisly. There's always a thing called joint fan fic writing which I do frequently with DaisyMae. Basically you write a chapter for the story, dicuss with the other person what you want to happen in the story together, then the other person writes the second chapter, then back to the first person, then second...see what I mean? This is ideal for not only people who dont have a lot of time to write, but also for people who have an idea but want to develop it into something better. Plus, I only ever write with the original characters. While new characters add depth and everything (and no offense meant to people who have added characters of their own) I think that continuing to extend the Dukes family into even more way ward cousins and brothers just ruins the whole original plot of the Dukes. I mean come on, it was hard to believe that they had 7 cousins all together meaning Jesse had 7 brothers... If I ever add my own character, its either a bad guy or I branch out into the boys future and give them children and wives because, regardless of what Uncle Jesse says, the boys could so hold a family down, they just have to wait for the right people that are as special as they are. Its very fun to write about an area of Dukes they didn't focus on in the show. Another area I write in is Luke's time in the Marines, what happened when he came home etc. Fan fic writing is so fun and raises a lot of debates on the plot holes that lined the show. Those plot holes were deliberatly left there for the fans to debate over lol. Hope you get something up soon, if you need a hand I'm always here buddy. :-) BoJamesDuke
  17. Hey all As promised. I did get to go to the Graham Norton Show, saw all three Dukes cousins and more importantly met all three cousins which was awsome. So here I am giving you a rather breif report of what it was like. First off, I was situated one row back from the stage, getting good ol' close up's of the Duke Cousins....okay so Tom and John in particular...okay so John in particular lol. They really are such nice and funny people, a pleasure to watch and listen to on stage. Now for the good stuff...they stuff they didn't show you on the television show because despite what the programme says....Graham Norton Uncut is not Uncut lol. MAy I say that I believe John was slightly tipsy after it was rumoured he was drinking a little before he went on stage then had two bottles of beer whilst onstage lol. So this made the entertainment much more interesting. If you saw the show, you would see that there was in fact a General Lee on the stage which I was pleased to be able to get a picture with. Graham on the show, asked if Tom and John would like to slide in the windows again, to which the boys replied that they would love to. However, John soon spotted the fact that the General had door locks on and this is how the conversation followed as best I can remember it with the greatest quote from John ever coming at the end...he really was on top form for comedic purposes that night. John: Awww we can't....its got door locks on! Graham N: Why is that a problem? John: Well yeah, imagine putting 500 pounds of you on top of that thing...you'll cut a gouge out yer back a mile long...Tom learned that the hard way... Tom: I did yeah... Graham N: We can always push it down.. John: No ya can't because then ya got the little bit left at the top that does the same thing... GN: Oh right... John: Course you could unscrew that...but then your left with a screw and then your really screwed... X-D I love it.. Another highlight was that the boys gave us undoubtable proof that they really can sing and did so on the show. They weren't officially scheduled to sing, but during a filming break the boys got bored...hehe. I think it was John that started to sing the 'You met another then *raspberry* you was gone' with Tom soon joining in with the melody underneath and guys...it really sounded like they did on the show. :-D Was a very special and very rare treat to witness. Graham just gave them a look, not being a big Dukes fan of course, and John just smiled back at him and said 'Don't mind us, we randomly burst into song when we're together...' Oh and by the way...in case you didn't see the show and to remind those who did of this very funny quote...John and Tom don't like wierd stalkers...well John does...he likes to make fun of them. GN: Okay so some of the fans... J: Are insane... (I think, I dont remember the word...it was somewhere along those lines) GN: Oh now they're here! J: *laughs* No I don't mean all fans I mean just some.. GN: Really? J: Yeah! Some fans are outta their...ever lovin'...tree... Very humourous stuff...as you can see it was mainly John that did the talking instead of Cathy for a change...Tom was his usual quiet and reserved self and seemed rather distanced from the three if you watch them on the show. But now to the very best part...which was so very very cool. Before the show, I went and brought Tom, John and Cathy a box of chocolates each as a christmas present and to say thanks seeing as they gave up their Thanksgivings with their families in order to be on the show which I felt was a very kind hearted thing to do...plus i'm a sap and like to give presents on christmas lol. Anyway, during a filming break John ran off the stage instantly to go and talk with some fans and so did Cathy...Tom was left behind going 'What are they doing?' and started to walk off slowly when he realized. It was at this point that I yelled his name and he actually turned around and headed over...the first thought that came to my mind? 'Uh oh, you weren;t meant to hear that...' lol Anyway he sauntered on over, asked how I was and I gave him the present...he looked very surprised and gave me a smile which was sooo nice before running off to grab John...and whilst grabbing him...said to him "Hey John...we got treats..." Now I have to say, over the years even though John has aged and very gracefully...he can still get that joyous. little kid excitement look on his face. He came on over and I gave him his box and he went, 'Awww that's so sweet!" and then....HUGGED ME! I couldn't believe it...it was a very very very nice hug, one of the best i've ever had. His arms just make you feel so...safe...lol I know that sounds dumb but that's the only way to decribe it. My head was on his chest as I hugged him it was just soooooo amazing! A proper Bo hug from Bo himself, something I will treasure the rest of my life. He said thanks again and let me go, before going back on stage. I also managed to grab Cathy before she got ushered back on it too, which she smiled and said 'For me?! Thanks!' In that typical Daisy fashion lol. And so...those are the highlights...written because I'm on a break in between a Uni lecture and a Seminar plus I was kinda bored lol. Hope you like it and hopefully see a lot of you at Dukesfest next year! We should arrange a meeting place and time and all meet up...storm the queue lines to get autographs with the boys lol. Love you all xx BoJamesDuke
  18. Hey!! No one accuses my cousin of cheating! Us Dukes don't cheat! Get over here Roger and say that Daisy cheated to my face! And you know what, i'll go get Luke too, lets see you call Daisy a cheat now!
  19. Yeah Denver Pyle was an awsome actor, the Ghost of the General Lee was one of his best scenes in the Dukes and also when he's talking to Bo in Carnival of Thrills. Its not Bo that makes me blub so much, the fight between them does obviously, its the talk Uncle Jesse gives...gets me everytime. Rest in Peace Denver!!
  20. lmao I always said way before John ever said it that John runs like a duck...actually it was more like a demented (no offence ment to anyone) duck...lol...I love John, he is just so cute you feel sory for him. But for what he lacks in athleticism he makes up for in good looks, boyish charm, cheey grins and outstanding driving ability. :-D Love the boys
  21. lol aint it just...I cant stop grinning lol
  22. Bo smiled back and headed to the bathroom, shutting the door behind him with a smile...the first smile he had truly meant for a long time. One era was just ending, they all knew deep down that Jesse wouldn't be with them much longer...Luke would become the patriarch and start a proper family....maybe with Jenni, Bo didn't know. All he did know, was that he, Luke, Daisy, Jaime and Troy were going to continue on the legacy their Uncle had built. No matter who was in the family or what road they all went down, they'd always be the Dukes of Hazzard...that was something no one could ever take away from them.
  23. Widow Baxley Truck Road to Capitol City Caleb Duke
  24. lol In acting ability they are both equal, bless John was only 18 when he started and TOm was like lightyears ahead lol. JOhn did well for what little experience he had before doing the show. But when it comes to fighting...i'm sorry but John sucked lol. Even Gy waldren admitted it. John could drive much better than Tom but his fighting absolutly sucked and no one here can deny it lol. They both have their qualities that make them loveable, I cant pick between them.
  25. Guess what I just found...Lukas Duke with a black eye lol. Here we go, see what you think? Click on the photo below for a larger image to open
