Bo instantly flung himself out from under the General Lee and had pushed past Luke in two strides, yelling. "He ain't your Uncle Jesse! Oh and well done you can read the name on the roof of mine and Luke's car. You ain't havin' him, you ain't ever gonna drive him an' you ain't weedlin' yer way inta our family!" (Cue DaisyMaeDuke)

Bo nodded and carefully shifted Troy in his lap without waking him to the nurse could reach him arm, rubbing Troy's back softly and placing a hand on his cheek gently so as to keep Troy's attention diverted from the needle...he then had to close his eyes and rest his forehead on the top Of Troy's head so he couldn't see it happen either.

Bo frowned a little "Can't ya just do it like this...he'll put up less of a fuss..."

Bo looked up with a smile and nodded softly. "Yeah..."

Bo watched him with a small smile...it was amazing how, although Troy never knew him up until now...he still had all his characteristics...and looks.

Lori you got it right, it is Jeb Stuart. The hint about the dirt bikes should have given it away because Jeb is a champion dirt bike racer

Bo was content to just sit with the young boy, soothing him gently and thinking through everything that taking Troy on would mean. He couldn't really see why he was so afraid of it before...holding Troy like this just seemed so right..

Bo swallowed softly, resting his chin gently on top of the boys head. "I love you too Troy..."

Bo sighed and held him closer in his arms, rocking him softly.

BO couldn't help but chuckle a little. "No you wont...cause I aint ever gonna leave ya..."

"I promise Troy..." Bo said with a nod of the head.

Cooter blew out a breath softly. The Dukes were tough on people claiming to be there family...from what he had heard from Bo, Luke had been just as defensive with his own brother when he had first arrived...and both boys had been pensive about the cousin from England...fortunatly Judd had turned out to be ok but Gaylord Duke has really shaken the family up. Cooter took it and looked over it, raising an eyebrow and handing it over to Luke. Bo however still didn't come over, now having slid under the General.

Bo however didn't see, his back being turned to the action as he looked over the General, trying to find something, anything with which to occupy himself. He didn't want no part of the guy already and the more he heard the angrier he got. (Cue JulieDuke)

Cooter looked to Luke again....if this continued they were going to wind up hearing this guy's whole life story. (Cue DaisyMaeDuke)

When he saw the Luke wasn't about to reply, Cooter decided to. "Well...that's...interesting to know..." (Cue JulieDuke)

Bo however was oblivious to the fact. He hadn't really ever paid attention to the girls who were his friends and thought of them as anything more...like BL and Dixie, one he knew they liked Luke but two he also thought them too close to him friendship wise to make anything more of it. Hillary was just the same, he really didn't give her a second glance considering her off limits. Therefore, as Hillary sat next to him, Bo kept laughing along with everyone else and celebrating Cooter's birthday with him. "Of course all fer you Cooter...yer our best buddy an' a best cousin...what more could ya want in a person...plus the General needs a free tune up so I had no choice..." He shouted out with a cocky grin, his blonde hair gleaming in the sunlight.

Cooter nodded a little, unsure as to why Avery had randomly come out with that little piece of information, glancing to Luke. (Cue DaisyMaeDuke)

Bo didn't know how to answer...how could he tell a child that his own mother didn't want him...even though he was sure that Troy already knew. Swallowing softly, he pulled Troy into his lap again, hugging him close. "I'm sorry Troy..."

Bo let out a long breath and moved away from the car, going to stand in a space on his own to cool down a bit. Cooter watched him and couldn't blame the boys for their reactions to this fella but he did think Bo was being a bit ridiculous about it. He bent down and looked in the window again, shaking his head. "Ignore Bo...he just woke up on the wrong side of the bed..." (Cue JulieDuke)

Bo swallowed gently and bit his lip as he shook his head. "No..."

Bo whirled round at that, stepping beside Cooter and looking in again. "Just because you's got a nice car, can drive it an' fix it at the same time don't make you a Duke! You can have the Duke name, the Duke blood but you's only a true Duke when you prove yerself to be!" (cue DaisyMaeDuke)
