They used some '68 Chargers in the show, so it's still authentic. The main differences between the '68 and '69 Chargers are the front grille, the rear lights and the side markers. You can sand off the side markers (as they did with the real ones). You can probably fabricate the front grille divider (they had center pieces to clip to '68 grilles on some cars in the show). The tail lights will be trickier to change.
Im not sure if this fits better here or in fan art, but, I'm starting a new project. I bought a 1:25 scale 68 Charger at Hobby Lobby. There were, unfortunately, no 69 in stock, with no nearby hobby stores. And buying models online is a gamble that I don't want to risk. I'm going to try my best to turn it into The General! So if any of you have any tips, tricks, or recommend products, I would be very grateful if you could share!
You are so helpful omg. My dad has a 3d printer so I could probably ask him to help me withsome sort of conversion kit and then that just leaves the painting and decals (which are all in Europe for some reason??) So I hope the international shipping isnt too expensive. And I cant decide if I wanna paint the mechanical bits or not. Do I save money and just cover them up, or say f*** it and have a pretty build
Well fellow Hazzardites, my gut is still bothering me from my operation but the doc says it's looking good but I don't think so. I've been housebound almost a whole month! I get on here every now and then when I can. I'm just having to wait until I can get back to my usual! ( My usual everything!! )
I've never seen his shows (I'm not sure if they were shown over here), but I'm familiar with him through memes!
It's so odd for me listening to Thomas being narrated by an American. The fictional setting of the Island of Sodor is so British (it's meant to be located in the Irish Sea between the English mainland and the Isle of Man). BTW. Last weekend marked the 80th anniversary of The Railway Stories (AKA. Thomas and Friends) - there's an article about it here.
At least the music's good to dance to.
Well y’all in the past 24 hours, life hasn’t been too eventful but I did go to visit a friend who was staying in town, hung out with her and her doggo. Cute as button, but so strong. That pup pulled me and I’m a full grown man. What happened was she was just going to get something at the nearby convenience store…
the dog went nuts and started pulling me along even though I dug my heels in. Guess you just can’t get between a dog and their momma. Lol.
