I'm still deciding if I should ride the dirt bike or the white Ford F-150. Might not decide until the last minute. How many days before the race HH?

NASCAR raced in Kansas this week and it looks like Kyle Larson dominated the race and won the race. It's always great to see team Hendrick in Victory Lane. I just can't wait until it's Chase Elliott. Today would have been birthday 105 for my hero. I can just hear him now up in Hazzard Heaven yelling at me. "Git off dat confounded fancy walkie talkie and git dem chores done! Dem chickens ain't gonna feed demselves!"

Yeah when they came to my area it was at a mall. So I'm sure space was limited as well. They handed out bandanas. I think I still have it.

I went to a truck show today. Unfortunately, there were no American trucks there, and I know there are a few in the country. Some people are huge fans of the European trucks, and there's a lot of merchandise available for them, but they don't interest me much. Although the European trucks don't do much for me, some had some incredible airbrush artwork on them. The only exception I spotted was a Ford pickup monster truck which was giving rides in the eight seats in the back. By the time I'd looked around and got something to eat, the rides seem to have stopped, so I never got a chance to have a go. Also within the show I spotted a 1966 Mustang. After I left the show I spotted another 1966 Mustang parked just down the road. Mustangs are a rare sight over here, so to see two so close together was a nice treat.

Okay it looks like we have Hobie in the Trans Am. Garrett in a Jeff Goron NASCAR car. Me on Emma's mail motorcycle. Skipper pulling the SSMinnow with an F-350 dually. MM in Rosco's sheriff's car. Hoss in an orange F1 car. Boss, Spike, others, ya in? If we don't hear from people they're gittin' flat tires as soon as the race starts....but they will be starting.

a 1966 Mustang was my death chariot! When a friend of mine , who owned a purple 1966 Mustang with ivory white interior, was driving like a fool and I was a passenger. We had a wreck and I was thrown out of the car and l;anded on my head. I was in the hospital for a month and in a coma for a week. I came as close as you can get to dying without going all the way!
