  1. I know what you mean. It's been 46 years and I haven't been able to get tired of the Dukes. I have to admit though: I haven't been trying.

  2. Well y'all. I got some news. I got a new to me dog on Friday. So far it is working out great, though my older dog is having a rough time adjusting to the new pup. She is slowly getting better and used to him. So I am hopeful it will work out. Last September my sisters and I got my parents two chihuahua and min pin mix pups after their boxer passed away a year and a half ago. They named them Dusty (after George Strait's Pure Country movie) and Dolly (Dolly Parton). Well, a couple of weeks I was talking to them in text about my worry about my Rosie dog (she will be 13 at the end of June) and my dad was quick was to say that I could have Dusty. Which I didn't take him serious at first and when I did felt bad, but he said two dogs were too much for them and the dogs being siblings would do better apart from one another. So last Friday I picked Dusty up to see how he will do at my apartment. So far, so good. My only challenge is my landlady. LOL. I am really hoping it works out. Otherwise, my parents said that he can go back home to them and Dolly. But hopefully it will work out with him at my apartment and my older dog will come around to having him around. I have renamed Dusty to Bandit after Smokey and the Bandit. I was thinking Dukes of Hazzard or Ryno after my favorite baseball player (yes he was a Cubs player...LOL) . My last dog that I lost two and a half years ago was named Rosco. And couldn't find another name I wanted to for him. And Bandit really seems to fit him. So here is Bandit .

    NASCAR news

Roger this made my entire week. Thank you . I have been lingering around here and there. I wish I was watching too many Cubs games but sadly don't have cable. Just been busy and tired and not sure I have much worthwhile stuff to post. LOL. Hopefully the Cubs continue to win...and hopefully Chase Elliott finds Victory Lane again. It's been too long. . . Thank you, Roger, for your post and the smile.

  4. Hey! You guys know something I just thought of? I had an episode started and Waylon's song ( Just good ol' boys never meanin' no harm...) kept playing over and over while I was getting ready for bed and I really didn't get tired of hearing it! Kind of like when you put a disc in and play 3 episodes over and over and finally think, " You know I need to change that DVD". It takes a LOOONG time to get tired of anything Dukes!

    John's birthday

Definitely not the youngest in real life but the show never said which one was youngest by Hazzard standards. It's weird to think about it but Bo is the same age as Jesse was in the last season.

    Question

I just googled "boars nest sign" and quickly got very depressed by how many people are ripping off my artwork that I naively sent to someone many years ago when they claimed they were making a banner for their kid's birthday. It's too late to do anything about it, so I guess I'll just have to be flattered that people think it's good enough to use!
