    Lulu Is a Spy??

I’m currently watching the mid to late 60s spy series The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (1964-1968). I’m currently watching a late Season 1 episode (“The Love Affair”) from March of 1965. Peggy Rea had a bit-part as a goofy, “revivalist”, lol! 🤪

    The last 24 hours

Although the strongest of the high winds appear to have gone, we're not out of the woods yet. Our part of town had another power cut last night, this time lasting just over seven hours. Mind you, I can't really complain as over 200,000 properties have been without power since Friday and it might be several more days before some get it back. The electric company is even shipping in crews from the UK, France and the Netherlands to get things moving again. We got away lightly where I live!

Remember the Dukes at Christmas, when Rosco and Boss came over to celebrate? The Dukes seemed to forget all the wrong they had been done and show Boss and Rosco some YULETIDE spirit!!

    The last 24 hours

Ireland's highest ever wind was recorded last night at 183km/h (114mph), beating the previous record of 182km/h set in 1945. Miraculously, despite all the damage, I've only seen one reported death - a driver was killed early this morning when a tree fell on his car in Co. Donegal. I think we're in for a cold and wet weekend, but the worst has gone where I live. There are still a lot of people with power, and some without water.
