The team radios are open to the broadcaster in F1, but there is a short delay before selected exchanges are played to the public, which gives them time to bleep out bad language. The same is happening in others sports too. Rugby referees have had microphones for a while and I think soccer referees might have them too. Back in 2013, they decided to give microphones to the coxes of the annual Oxford/Cambridge boat race in London. One of them spent the whole race using swear words to encourage their crew. I think the lesson was learned there!

According to NASCAR insiders Martin Truex jr will announce his retirement tomorrow.

Personally I think team radios should be off limits to the public because drivers are adults and will let the cuss words fly and other remarks not fit for PG tv. Children shouldn't hear that anyways. So far it doesn't appear NASCAR will be punishing Martin Truex jr. In other news Fox and Indycar have reached a deal. Fox will broadcast all 17 Indycar races of Fox stations. To make this happen Fox has moved all but 5 of the cup series races they will get next year to FS1. As an Indycar fan this is great news...but as a NASCAR fan this means I'm only watching 5 races on Fox next year. Though some of those were already moved due to the USFL games anyways.

As Garrett and Roy got to the top of the hill that looks down at still site number four, Garrett and Roy see the two deputies struggling their way down to the bottom where the Dukes and everyone stand. "We gotta hurry," Garrett states, holding the tape and tape player in his hands and motions Roy over by some large trees. "OK Bo and Luke, Ernie and Bill," Deputy Cletus states loudly before seeing Daisy, who is sitting on a log with Jesse hugging her. "What's wrong with her?" "She saw your ugly face and she fainted," Luke rolls his eyes at the deputy. "Now Luke," Deputy Enos states, "that's not too nice." "Well neither are either one of you!" Bo yells, pointing at them, "Bill and Ernie came to race in Hogg's race, to support this community, and this is the respect that you all give them?! It's one thing to be throwing false accusations at Luke and I. But now, y'all have come too far!" Enos and Cletus looks at them as they approach them. "I hear ya loud and clear, Bo," Deputy Enos states sympathetically, "but we are just following orders that we have to follow. The sheriff got evidence that y'all got the money. And. . .and I'm sorry -" "Stop apologizing to criminals," Cletus snaps at Enos. "Bo and Luke Duke. Ernie and Bill Elliott. You all are under arrest for stealing Commissioner Hogg's money and for hiding fugitives!" "You know we and them did no such thing!" Bo yells angrily and takes a step threatenly towards them for Luke to throw his arm in front of his chest to stop him. "We're just following orders," Enos reminds them. "You don't have no evidence any of us did such a thing," Luke chimes in. "Cousin Boss says that don't matter. He will deal with you all at the jail," Cletus responds, "now I need all four of you to turn around and put your hands behind your head. Nice and easy, now." Meanwhile Roy and Garrett quietly get to the bottom un noticed as everyone's attention is upon each other and all that is going on. "What?" Roy whispers as Garrett gives an evil grin and Garrett raises the tape recorder in his hands. Garrett turns the volume way high before pushing play. "What are we doing in these here caves, Boss?" Rosco says loudly through the player and everyone instantly stops and turns towards them. "What you think, numbskull?" Boss' responds over the tape "We are hiding out until Cousin Cletus and Deputy Enos arrest Bill, his crooked crew chief, and the entire Duke clan!" Boss laughs smugly. "I can see it now, Rosco. The headlines will read: NASCAR legend Bill Elliot and his crew chief are behind bars for stealing money from a small local town that was already struggling to survive!" More laughter erupts. "Meanwhile, they will get locked up in Atlanta with the Dukes. Bill and his crew chief will probably get bailed out, but their names will be mud after this. No one will pay to see crooks like them race until they are sentenced for twenty years. The Dukes will be in jail from here on out until they are released in twenty years." More laughter, "Life will be magical, Rosco!" With that Garrett turns the recorder off as they reach everyone at the still site. "Um. . .um Garrett. Roy, " Deputy Enos stutters, "what you got there?" "Rock hard evidence, Deputy, that Bill and Ernie stole no money and Hogg is being his greedy self," Garrett hisses at the deputy who attempts to take it from him only to yank it away from him, "I think you all need to reconsider what you are doing here." Enos and Cletus both look at each other and then at Garrett and Roy. "I . . .I think we need to call this in," Cletus responds walking to the car just as Rosco pulls up besides their patrol car. As Rosco stiffly steps out of the patrol car, Cletus states, "Garrett Duke has Boss and you recorded saying they didn't steal no money." "Does he, now he?" Rosco asks as they walk back to where they are at and Garrett rewinds the tape and replays that part for Rosco. "There's more, but we can save that for later," Garrett dryly responds as he stops the tape. "Bill and Ernie brought y'all money, competition, and a crowd for that race and y'all played them dirty. You can drop the charges now and apologize." "You hush Garrett!" Rosco yells as he eyes everyone suspiciously. "You are under arrest for spying on the sheriff and the commissioner!" "You do you, Rosco," Garrett dryly grins at him as he hands Roy the tape recorder and motions him towards Luke. Roy nods and quickly walks over and hands the tape and recorder to Luke who thanks him. "Turn around, put your hands above your head. You are going back to Atlanta where you belong," Rosco hisses and Garrett cooperates and Rosco tightly handcuffs Garrett's hands behind his back, "You're not getting out of it this time, Duke!" Rosco hisses in his ear before he reads him his rights and shoves him towards his patrol car. Garrett reminds silent as he allows Rosco to shove him in the back before he begins to drive off, sirens wailing.

Um what did Martin Truex Jr say and why? This is the first time I am hearing that he has said anything...see out of the loop I am. Work and school has me preoccupied and missing out. Thank you for the information.

In the NASCAR Rumor mill today.... Kyle Busch is rumored to be possibly going back to Joe Gibbs Racing if Martin Truex Jr retires, which is a possibility after his R-word rant at Sonoma he might get cancelled by the easily offended. Noah Gragson is rumored to be heading to RCR and RCR is rumored to have bought a 3rd charter, possibly one of the SHR charters.

Rosco got on the CB "You dipstick deputies. Where are you anyways?" Enos and Cletus looked at each other while the 4 Dukes, Cooter, Bill and Ernie watched and listened. Cletus told Enos to answer "After all, you are the senior deputy." Enos quickly responded "But you are the county commissioner's cousin...er, second cousin twice removed, er whatever you are." Cletus "Um, yes but I can just tell by Rosco's voice that he ain't none too happy." The CB rang out again with Boss's voice this time. "Now you listen here you lugnuts, one of ya better answer or you will both be working in the Hazzard County Sewer Department as taste testers!" They fought their way to the CB but Enos got there first. "Yes sir Mr Hogg and Sheriff Rosco. We are up here on Willow Drive just past Jensen's Hollow at the old Duke still site #4." "All right" responded Rosco. "I know exactly where that's at. Now don't let anybody get away because if you do I'll give you a job that is even worse than taste tester at the sewer. I'm gone." Cletus grimaced "Yuk, what could be worse than that?" Jesse had a disappointed look on his face. "I tell ya what can be worse than that. Spending the last 40 years thinking still site #4 was a secret and finding out the law knew about it all along." A minute later a distant siren was audible. Daisy panicked, what are we gonna do now?! Oh my! I think I'm going to faint. She fell on Enos who fell on Cletus and the 3 of them hit the ground like dominoes.

Garrett and Roy silently make their way down along side the cave on opposite sides. As Garrett reaches the bottom he watches as Roy skids down and quietly yells at him to be quiet. As Roy finds his place he waves the recorder in the air before placing it on the side of the cave and shows Garrett that there is a blank tape in it before closing it and pressing record. Garrett rolls his eyes at him before voices in the cave catches their attention and Garrett gives Roy a thumbs up. "What are we doing in these here caves, Boss?" Rosco is heard saying as movement within echos off the walls. "What you think, numbskull?" Boss' recognizable voice thunders in the cave. "We are hiding out until Cousin Cletus and Deputy Enos arrest Bill, his crooked crew chief, and the entire Duke clan!" Boss laughs smugly. "I can see it now, Rosco. Rosco naively asks, "And what did the Dukes do to play part of it? I mean Bill came to race in your race. He brought you the crowd, the money. Why would you want him in jail for?" "Boy Rosco. You do get dumber and dumber by the day," Boss snorts out, "this money, you numbskull! But we are going to say we found it in his car and that he stole it. The Dukes are hiding and helping the fugitive out. Heck, they probably helped him get the money. This whole thing is going to erupt and we will come out smelling like roses and looking like the good guys. Meanwhile they'll be in jail and out of our hair!" "But Boss," Rosco speaks up, "but you ain't got much hair." "Shut up already, Rosco. We've been through this already. I want Bill and the Dukes in jail. I'll get their farm and make it into a car dealership of Hazzard. And no more pesky Dukes getting into my business. Or no more of Garrett's rotten attitude," Boss states in the cave and Garrett gives Roy a smile and a thumbs up, "he should have been arrested before all this started." "I tried, Boss. You wouldn't let me, remember?" Rosco innocently asks. "You hush!" Boss yells before his CB starts to crackle. "Cousin Boss. You there?" comes Cletus' familiar voice. "This is he. Watch your tongue and tell me what you have," Hogg hisses into the CB of the car that he has parked in the cave. "Please tell me you are on your way with the criminals to the jail." "Um," Cletus stutters on the CB, "not exactly." "Not exactly?!" Boss' voice thunders against the walls of the cave, "What's that mean?" "Well the one with dark hair says we can't arrest them when they have evidence that they didn't steal the money," Cletus shly responds on the CB. "Evidence? What evidence?" Boss yells into the CB, "There is no evidence, you numbskull! They stole the money. Go and arrest them and I will deal with them!" "Um yes sir Cousin Boss," Cletus hangs up with uncertainty in his voice. "What is he talking about, Boss?" Rosco questions. "Well I assume the dark hair one being Luke. But there is no evidence. He's bluffing," Boss snorts, "but he is throwing a curve ball. Your deputies may need help. I'mma stay here with our evidence. You will need to go help Cletus and Enos to arrest the Dukes and Elliott." Garrett eyes Roy with wide eyes and motions for Roy to go up and into the woods. Roy and Garrett then quietly move from their area and climb up the hill and into the woods where they meet up with each other above the cave and behind some big bushes and trees just as Rosco backs out of the cave and drives away. "Dang it," Roy cusses, "he's gonna see our truck." Garrett nods as he watches the patrol car go up and past their truck and on the direction to where the Dukes are with Bill and a moment later they see Hogg urgently leave the cave and glance around the area. "Rosco must have called him over the CB when he saw our truck," Garrett whispers as Hogg disappears within the cave after a couple of minutes, "OK we need to run up to your truck and make to them to give the tape to Luke." Roy stares at Garrett in disbelief. "You really want to go to jail, don't you?" he finally hisses, "I rather you wouldn't take me with you." "Kinda too late to chicken out now, Roy. But if you wish I can do it myself," Garrett begins to rush towards the truck, making sure to stay covered. As they get into the truck, Roy turns it on and yanks the steering wheel to turn around and to follow the same direction as where Rosco had went. "I'm here. I'm just not as bold as you want to be," Roy reluctantly says handing Garrett the tape recorder. "I appreciate your help. Rosco will probably park where we were earlier. We can park up the hill and climb down the other side to get to the Dukes to give them the tape recorder and tape." "Ten four my crazy friend," Roy says.

At the same time Roy and Garrett were approaching the cave, Daisy and Cooter showed up at the old still site number 4. They had a meeting with Bo, Luke, Jesse, Bill and Ernie and got caught up on everything that was going on. Moments later they heard an engine and saw flashing lights. Enos and Cletus had been following Daisy and Cooter, unbeknownst to them. Within seconds after stopping the deputies hopped out of the patrol car. Cletus was grinning but Enos looked upset. Cletus laughed, pointing his pistol in the air. "All right Mr. Elliott, you are under arrest for theft and embezzlement. And the rest of your gang is under arrest for aiding a known criminal.....And where are those hooligans Garrett and Roy? They are under arrest too! Especially that Garrett....talk about a shady character." Jesse was outraged. "Arrest! Why I'll show you a thing or two Cletus Hogg. I'm making me a citizen's arrest." He charged at Cletus but was quickly stopped by Luke. Luke looked straight at Deputy Hogg. "Now, just hold your horses Cletus. If we can show you fine law enforcement officers that Bill had nothing to do with the missing money, it would be against the federal US of America Constitution to arrest him, now wouldn't it?" Cletus's face looked confused, as it often did. "Um, I don't know." He scratched his head and looked at Enos who responded. "It sure would Luke. We couldn't arrest none of y'all if we had that kinda proof."

Back when Jeff Gordon and Clint Bowyer was racing, Bowyer wrecked Gordon several times. He wrecked Gordon at Martinsville during the playoff race and Gordon came back and intentionally wrecked Bowyer. Bowyer ran after Gordon after the race, Bowyer's crew attacked Gordon, luckily Gordon's crew yanked him out in time. During the interview with Bowyer, Bowyer called Gordon that. Gordon got in trouble for it all. That was probably before the whole sensitivity training era.

After getting stuck in traffic during one of the pit stop cautions he ranted about the other drivers and calling them retarded. And of course it is now making the rounds on social media with people hoping he gets fined or forced to go to "sensitivity" training.
