There was more than one Clyde in the show, but you're probably talking about Clyde the impound yard guard played by Ernie Lively in 'The Ransom of Hazzard County'. Ernie appeared in five episodes, and was the real life FATHER of Jason Lively, who appeared in two episodes.

  2. I'm one of the younger dukes of Hazzard watchers (I'm 21) as my dad had all the DVDs when I was younger and we'd watch the show all the time. I'm looking for the episode with a specific scene that won't leave my head. Bo is driving the general and Luke in the passenger seat, and I feel like someone else was in the car with them. There's a truck coming the other way, Bo swerves around it. He says something about being a great driver, and then another truck comes. He swerves round that again and Luke says 'how did you do that twice' (or something along those lines). I'm sure there's more to the scene then that but that's all I can remember and its really annoying that I can't place the episode. Thank you for any help

That's a dumb move to say out loud like that. Everyone will be watching. Though I believe it was Darrell Waltrip who once said it's the drivers who don't say anything about coming back at the other driver after getting wrecked out that are the ones that you should worry about. He probably worded it way different, but that was the gist of it. We will see if he is right. HA! Kyle Busch has always been the aggressor in NASCAR. I was so glad when he left Hendrick...I was equally glad Dale Jr was taking his spot. HA. He has calmed down a lot recently, but obviously not completely. Ricky should never have said that out loud as NASCAR will be watching. Though I guess they'd add one and one together even if he didn't say anything. NASCAR will park him if he does go through with it. Ask Chase Elliott...

I was listening to the Dale Jr podcast today about the race and fight. Dale said Kyle has this smirk he gives when "apologizing" that... He trailed off but the other guy on the podcast said makes you want to punch Kyle in the face . I've seen the replays and Kyle should have let it go after giving Ricky the one shot on the track, he didn't need to hit him a 2nd time in the same turn. Now if Ricky follows through with his threat NASCAR will have no choice but to park him.

And Waylon had a song called Clyde. Sat on the porch, ain't got no shoes. Pickin' the bass and singin' the blues.

  11. Welcome to HNet, bodukegirly. The episode you're talking about is 'Pin the Tail on the Dukes' in season 4. The scene is just over half an hour in, and goes like this: Waylon: Along about this time, a truck was heading through Hazzard for the first time. That driver didn't have a clue about Hazzard's driving conditions. Bo: Hang on, Hector. Here we go again. (They swerve the first truck) Luke: Phew! That was close. Bo: Bo Duke, you are too much. (Luke spots the second truck) Luke: Bo. Bo: What? Luke: Bo! Bo: Oh, my gosh. Hang on. Waylon: I'm hanging. (They swerve the second truck) Luke: How do you do that twice? Bo: There's only two trucks in Hazzard, right?

Armor In your discussion above, I think you guys are mixing up DEI meanings. It means both Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Dale Earnhardt, Inc.
