Angela Lansbury has died just 5 days before her 97th birthday. She passed away in her sleep at her LA home. Born in London in 1925, when she wasn't in LA, she spent a good bit of time at her home in Co. Cork here in Ireland. I'm sure we all remember her as Jessica Fletcher in 'Murder She Wrote'. Here she is entering the former Duke Farm at Valencia Oaks in the 1988 episode 'Coal Miner's Slaughter', an episode which also featured Denver Pyle and Celebrity Speed Trap victim Hoyt Axton. The rest of my pictures are in the Valencia Oaks Movie Ranch thread. For another Dukes tie-in, from 1976 to 1981, Cathy Bach was married to Angela's stepson David Shaw.

Rosco:"Lt. Broccoli... Whenever you get in a jam, call old Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane! Kew Kew Kew!" Lt. Broggi(After Rosco leaves the office.):"When Hazzard freezes over." Enos:"Oh it don't get that cold in Hazzard Lt." Lt. Broggi(After Enos leaves.):"Let's pray the weather holds out."

Turk(To Enos):"Of course, I remember last time, when you mixed up burglars and possums. We made a bust. Whatcha got?"

Remember Turk as Greens and Enos as Grits? The nicknames Turk gave them. Hence why he always said "Grits and Greens strike again!" When they solve crimes.

There's another funny one too. Captain Dempsey says "Give them their heads!" Lt. Broggi(To self after Dempsey leaves Broggi's office)"I'd love to. On a silver platter."

Remember when Turk started talking like Enos, and Lt. Broggi said "I might have to separate those men."

I enjoyed everything I saw her in. She was a fine actress.

That's awful! I sure hope the family is holding up ok.

If you've noticed, that guy that shot, like 17 people in Florida was sentenced today. One of the people mentioned on the jury, was Benjamin Thompson.....remember? Benny The Quil!! I just happened to notice this and thought I'd tell the fellow citizens of Hazzard about it!

Unexpected. He went to Cleveland Clinic for a surgery and he didn't make it.
