Forgot to mention Jimmy Johnson was showing some speed at the Indycar St. Petersburg race yesterday. He made it up to 13th or 14th from starting last but he was running a different pit strategy and had to save fuel so he ended up finishing 23rd.
Car didn't give me a choice, stalled on me again today when I was going to take it to the shop. At least I was only a few car lengths from my parking spot and not on the highway. Tow truck arrived within 10 minutes of calling.
My throat feels like Death Valley today. Nose has been an on and off faucet lol.
Hope your wife feels better soon Roger
Thanks, MonacoMan. It's taken me a few days to dig out my DVD of 'Rebel Without a Cause'. You only get a couple of shots of the exterior of the police station in the movie, and they're at night (unless I missed something skipping through). The entrance has had quite a few modifications over the years, so I'll have to try and get a similarly angled screengrab from Dukes for a comparison.
Haven't visited the site in a while as it has been a tumultous couple of weeks. I'll get the bad news out of the way 1st... The wife and I were involved in a scary violent incident Monday instigated by a person that doesn't even live here and hopefully after the wife's restraining order gets approved we won't ever have to worry about dealing with him again. That's about all I'll say till after the court hearings. Me and the wife are ok though but our nerves are still a bit rattled. We're now thinking about getting our CCW permits and buying a gun which we never really ever thought we'd need before.
Now the good news... This little lady walked up to our place a few weeks ago. Have no idea where she came from or who owned her since nobody has called to claim her even the person who spent the money having her microchipped, so we're bringing her home in a couple of weeks. Have her at my dads right now till everything calms down here and we can introduce her to our cat.
Well Hoss you ask and you will recieve...here is some more NKOTB. Just for you...
Well Hoss, I hate to say this to you, but you are wrong. No way they would go anywhere in silence...not with such a huge fan base that they have. Hope you are not too disappointed when their big surprise is NOT what you are wanting.
This song was supposedly written by Sheryl Crow (and Jeff Trott) about her ex-boyfriend, Eric Clapton. I thought it'd be fun to post the live version where Sheryl guest stars with Eric:
(Live with Eric Clapton)
I'm gonna miss it too . I'm hoping the news is that they're entering a monastic order and taking a vow of silence .
Sorry Hoss but I couldn't help myself. The New Kids will be on "The View" on Tuesday (sadly I won't be able to watch it... ) but they are suppose to reveal some news. I am hoping it is some tour dates for their upcoming NEW album that they have coming out in a couple of months. (See Hoss...in a couple of months I'll have some new and upstead NKOTB music. Just for you. )
More Than a Feeling - Boston It's more than a feeling (more than a feeling) When I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling) I begin dreaming (more than a feeling) 'till I see Marianne walk away I see my Marianne walkin' away Gee, I really like the name they use in this song....
And after all those lonely weekends (four years in fact) you too would be... Mr. Lonely - Bobby Vinton (There's a quasi remake of this song by Akon which uses a sped up Chipmunks style version to open the song. I'm not posting the link to it because it, in a word, sucks.)
Well it has been a couple of years since they went their seperate ways in the music industry and I still miss Brooks AND Dunn. Got Ronnie Dunn's single album and is good and I am sure Kix Brooks' album is good...but can't be as good as when they are singing together. If only I could wind back time in music...LOL
