Read the craziest review of the Polar Express movie on Amazon. Somebody was actually traumatized watching it . I swear these snowflakes these days... I was checking if there was a 4k bluray version available but there isn't. Got a new pair of glasses Friday though I think they messed up the right lens, it's blurry instead of clear. They said give it a week for my eyes to adjust but I don't see that working. The left lens is great I can see clear out of that better than my old pair.3 points

I got to see some live music tonight for the first time in ages. As part of the local Christmas events there are various acts playing on a temporary bandstand in town. Tonight it was a local family where the father sings, the mother plays piano and the son is an international award winning violinist. Funnily enough, they were the main act when I sang in the cathedral a couple of years back (we joined them on stage for 'Nessun Dorma'), and I've since found out that the mother is the cousin of friends of mine (well, this is Ireland after all!). To top it off, the mother had made Christmas cake for afterwards.3 points

I still didn't get an answer. Is it Hughie Hogg? I want to change it to Dewie Hogg. No, wait, Abraham Lincoln Hogg? No, I got it! Jamie Lee Hogg! He broke Daisy's heart you know. I wouldn't trust the guy.1 point -

Funny scene from the 1st episode Sherwood Schwartz's Dusty's Trail/Gilligan's Island in the West. Between the Rich Lady & the Wagonmaster. Mrs. Brookhaven:"They wouldn't dare shoot a woman! Only a bounder or a cad would entertain such a notion!" Mr. Callahan/Cal:"Mrs. Brookhaven, the Skullners don't care about men, women, children, pets, or anything else." Mrs. Brookhaven:"Come on girls! I think it's time we show them what women can do!"(The girls leave the Saloon. They return with their clothes all tore up.) Mrs. Brookhaven:"There were two bounders and a cad out there!"1 point -

A friend of mine was talking about seeing a comet or something similar earlier in the week. Five out of 10 Premier League soccer matches have been postponed due to Covid, as have several international rugby matches.0 points
