  1. Oddly enough I thought the same thing. She does have a familiar look. She also looks a little like Mrs. Puff on SpongeBob.

  2. Had a 'cousin Alice' in middle school, nobody bullied her, not even the boys because she was stood eye to eye or taller than most of the boys in school. She could spike a volleyball that you didn't want to be on the receiving end of it.

    HazzardNet's New Look

It looks a lot better on smartphones now.

  4. Thanks. I know I haven't been on HNet a lot lately, but I do check in from time to time and I'm happy to see folks still here sharing their love for the show here.

  5. I updated the main site today and spent some time optimizing so, hopefully, the site loads faster. As I have time, I'll likely be going through and updating, adding, and deleting old stuff. As with the forums, if you run across any issues, please let me know.

  6. Thanks for the link, Hobie. It's quite fun, and there's a good few Dukes references in there. I just struggled slightly with the line "In that car all painted o'nge". Virtually nothing rhymes with orange (Blorenge (a mountain in Wales) and sporange (a technical word for a sac where spores are made) don't fit the theme), so maybe he should have put it in the middle of line. Other than that, good stuff.

    Looking for someone

The line was spoken by Lori in 'Southern Comfurts'. She was played by Lori Lethin, who seems to have stopped acting (at least on TV and in movies) in 1999.

  8. I'm not sure by heart what episode this one is. It's Season 2 or Season 3.

  9. Was she on that show with Doris Day and Denver Pyle back in the 70's? Where did the new front for out web site come from?

    The last 24 hours

I haven't seen it yet. It's been nothing but cloudy here. I don't think it's bright enough to see yet without binoculars. Finding it will be tough though with no knowledge of the constellations. It's named Comet Leonard after it's discoverer less than a year ago. Later this month it will become an evening object and on Dec 18 will be just below super bright Venus in the southwest sky, 45 minutes after sunset.

Hey Roger have you seen that Comet that's passing by this week in the night sky. Local news meteorologist mentioned if we didn't have cloudy nights every night this week we would've been able to see it.

  13. Glad to hear you're recovering @HossC. Gallbladder issues run in my family. My paternal grandmother, dad, and sister have all had theirs out and doctors are monitoring my nephew's, which will probably have to be removed eventually. I've had my own scares and testing for the same, but so far no surgery. I've had five other surgeries in the last 13 years though, so I completely understand that soreness and problems with coughing. Take care of yourself.

  14. I got a big smile on my face when I logged in and saw that iconic picture. Thank you so much MM. You have done so much to promote the Dukes of Hazzard, you should be in that picture too.....as long as you're not blocking the view of Daisy. Seriously though, we love you and appreciate all that you do and all you have done for so long. Your friend Jimmie Best is in Hazzard Heaven smiling down on the HazzardNet.
