Happy engagement anniversary Roger. Snow was heavy this morning when I cleaned the car off for the wife. When I got done cleaning the windows off the windshield was completely covered again. Think we're going to get 3+ before the afternoon break before the 2nd round tonight. I'm not looking forward to Tuesday morning, got two long driveways to do among a few short ones. It's crazy that some of the power companies in the the south are asking people to keep their usage low for heat. Before we move to electric vehicles the infrastructure in this country needs to be upgraded especially if we can't keep warm during storms like this. Seen a huge pileated woodpecker at the park yesterday, was about as big as a crow. Had no idea they got that big.

I'm glad I'm retired. We have a 150 foot driveway and I've never owned a snowblower. We're supposed to get a foot too but I'll have all day to keep up with it. They showed a nationwide map and this storm is huge....creating a swath from New England to New Mexico. I was supposed to take my mom to a specialist in Pittsburgh (2 hours away) Tuesday morning but that's supposed to be the worst of it so we're going to change the appointment. Today was the 25th anniversary of asking my wife to marry me. Good news today, we found a shih-tzu puppy. It's only 2 days old but we'll be getting it in April. We haven't had a dog for 5 years.

Well that sucked, 16 cars out of the race just like that and only on lap 15. And looks like the race is going to be delayed for quite a while due the the bucket being poured on the track.

I watched 'Logan Lucky' last night and it was fun. I'm not quite sure why they cast an American as the main British character and Daniel Craig as an American, but I'll view the next James Bond film in a new light (if they ever release it)! I checked IMDb after watching the movie and then had to skip through it again to spot all the cameos by NASCAR drivers. There's Ryan Blaney, Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano, Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson, and Mike Joy, Darrell Waltrip and Jeff Gordon all appear as themselves at the race.

Well, Brian...I think that is nuttin but rif raf...needs ta be thrown in the garbage can...The world will end when it ends, we ain't gonna know when it does and until then, I live out ma days bein so darn happy and crazy, bein on tha loose! xD

I'd heard that our magnetic fields had already shifted slightly. That aside, as ya'll pointed out, people have made careers out of predicting the end of the world. It's become something of a lottery for lunatics. Sooner or later, our sun will burn out (in a jazillion years) or erratic, high-powered solar flares will fry the planet like a dry leaf. Until then, we complain when it's raining. For my money, the Bigger Questions are...where does all the outer space go to? I'm spiritual so I dig the Creation stuff, but what's all the rest of this for? God created the Earth in six days, but how long did the moon take? Personally I think the universe is way too orderly and precise to be one big banging coincidence. And if if there was a big bang to create the universe, then what, exactly, blew up? I have to sign off because I've given myself a headache.

I'm gonna look into it. I don't mind investing in the antenna if the programming is free! Especially for TNN.

Welcome back! We sure missed ya! It always feels good when someone who's been gone for awhile comes back to Hazzard County.

First of all, yeeehaw that TNN is comin' back! Second, MeTV is on frequently in my house. And I even get to watch it on my lunch hour at work. LOL. Tho' as much as I like Frank Cannon if I don't get back to going for walks on my lunch hour I will LOOK like Frank Cannon before it's over with... And lastly, I'm amazed that as we sit here in 2012 with digital cable, satellite tv and all, that we can still talk of having rabbit ears for the tv... LOL

My dad's procrastinating struck again. Lost out on a deal for a used snowblower. Was gonna go in half and half with him but since he procrastinated in calling his brother it got sold . I have so had it with his procrastination BS. Local channels are saying we could see up to a foot of snow by Tuesday morning, so yeah really could have used that snowblower.

Sure don't get your money's worth at Bob Evans anymore. Got their new fried chicken dinner and let me tell you it don't look like the picture on their menu. When we got home I thought I got the wrong meal but nope it was correct just a lot smaller than than the menu picture. Ever since those dang wall street jackals bought Bob Evans restaurants portions have shrunk and customer service has gone down hill.

Thanks. That would be a interesting episode. I was so happy to fine it. There was also a little Monster truck looking General Lee but I knew I couldn't get a good picture. The guy that painted the car had over 3,000 hours of work on it. He's in Ripley's Believe it or not.
