The cigarettes being thrown from the APC in 'Follow That Still' and the head popping up between the seats before Daisy's yellow car goes over the cliff in 'The Runaway' must be the two best-known bloopers in Dukes.

  5. I would feel the same way. I thought about going to the original farm in Georgia (the grandson of the owner used to be a member here) and getting a bucket of dirt and spreading it all over my garden. That way I could say I'm farming the same land as the Dukes.

    Coy And Vance

I feel like it was shot specifically for the intro for Denver to do his "point his finger behave boys" routine to Coy and Vance like he did with Bo and Luke in the original intro. I too can't remember that scene in any actual episode

  7. Haha I agree it's a superfan thing to do but it's definitely high on my bucket list. How cool would it be to find an orange chunk of charger hidden in the dirt or maybe a prop of some kind. I bet Tom Sarmento's garage location would be a prime place to explore I know a push bar was found but I'd be just as happy with something small lol Even just being there would be like walking on hallowed ground to me. Thanks for the warm welcome you guys I've lurked here for years and have enjoyed the site so I figured it was high time I join in the conversations. Look forward to my time here! :D

  9. I'm not huge into video games. I probably will get more into them when winter gets here but I guess I'll have to do without a Dukes game. Since we have a Nintendo Classic and Wii and might get a PS4 I really don't need a fourth system. Besides, like most video games it would probably take me forever to get good at Dukes. It really is hard to teach an old dog new tricks!

  11. Anybody who loves the Dukes of Hazzard enough to think about doing something like this is not just a fan but a Superfan. We're sure glad to have you here on the HazzardNet where you will be right at home amongst us other Superfans. I bet if they would have known how popular the show would still be 4 decades later they would have saved more relics from the show and from the stunt cars.

  12. No, the PS1 game disc will not work in the PS4 and there are no Dukes of Hazzard games on the PlayStation Network. Your best bet Roger would be to find a good used PS1 and find a ps1 copy of the games on ebay, at the moment prices range from a few dollars for used discs to $33 for new never opened. There was also a ps2 DoH game however it does not have the original cast doing voice overs. If you have an old windows xp computer that still works good you could get a PC copy of the PS1 games. Retro gaming is becoming a big thing so a lot of places such as used video and record/CD stores are carrying old gaming consoles for sale so check those stores out in your area.

Jimmie Johnson interested in running all Indycar road and street courses next season https://www.jayski.com/2020/08/19/jimmie-johnson-interested-in-full-indycar-road-street-schedule-next-season/. Would be neat if he could race the #48.

  14. Roger... Up there... I meant to say I'm not sure if all 3 games compatible with a PS 3 or PS 4 or not.

  16. Well spotted Brad. The 'slammer' car is a red '61 Mercury: The car Luke is driving in the close-ups is clearly an orange '69 Charger (sounds familiar ):

  17. I find it ironic that two movies that I've bought recently have father and son now. Moonrunners is great if you haven't seen it wait till you see what the Mule's name is now, and James Mitchum Plays "Grady Lee Hag" and in Thunder Road it stars his father "Robert Mitchum great western star.
