I come on here with a heavy heart, a saddened heart, to let you know that NASCAR driver Jason Leffler died yesterday at the age of 37. As of right now, not a whole lot is coming out about what happened other than that he was at a heat race in a 410 Sprint Car event at Bridgeport Speedway when his engine blew and he rolled three times. "Jason Leffler Remembered as a Friend, teammate, father" My thoughts and prayers goes out for Jason, his son, his family, his friends...Jason will be missed on and off the track.

Well it may not be NASCAR and Jeff Gordon may not be in Indy, but did sit down and watched the Indianapolis 500 today and am glad I did. Anyone else watch it? If so, what you think? I thought it was exciting...but their late race restarts are just as crazy as they are in NASCAR. A lot of names were familiar to me. Don't know if it was of past Indy 500 I have watched or what, but the one that I knew the most, Dario Franchitti went on to win the race. He got hit from behind in an early pit stop taht sent him into a few tires...he had to replace the nose of his car in the pits and he came out 28th after that. Has anyone ( besides me) seen the video of the guy in a local race of some kind and he just won and was standing in front of the crowd and the female reporter was interviewing him and it was LIVE.....so nothing could be bleeped out etc. The crowd was chanting..." F Joe Biden, F Joe Biden" and the reporter tried to cover it up by saying , " The crowd is saying " Let's Go Brandon!" ( the first name of the driver). You could tell what they were really saying though. I just bought a " Let's Go Brandon " T shirt! You obviously have some REAL Americans in that area!

Well I thought that since the chase will officially start this Sunday, that it would be fun to see who y'all think will be crowned champion at the end of the 2010 season (November 21st I think is the last race at Homestead Miami).
