While the Fan of the Month isn't exactly monthly anymore, I just felt compelled to thank Skipper Duke for all the energy he has been providing here on the best website on the internet. Skipper was the first person who befriended me in my short experience on Facebook and I'm proud to be his friend here on the HazzardNet. Thanks for all your contributions Skipper. There's not a whole lot of things you can depend on now in this crazy world but here on the HazzardNet we have someone who is as dependable as a Duke boy and that's our friend Spike. So, we end crazy undependable 2020 with a celebration of a member who is a solid cornerstone rock around here. Thanks for all you do Spike. June is here and that means things are heating up. Last summer things really warmed up around here when texasdaisy09 joined us on the HazzardNet and now she's as hot as a Hazzard campfire as this summer's first Fan of the Month. We see folks come and go here on the greatest website on the internet but texasdaisy09 is most definitely here for the long haul. Long overdue for recognition is TimDuke, who joined HazzardNet in Oct 2001. TimDuke is also a longstanding member of the CGLFC. TimDuke is a man of few words, but of deep sincerity; if he has something to say, he says what he means. He is also passionate about the General Lee and is among the lucky few to own one. Fortunately, TimDuke brings his General Lee to Duke-related events so fans can enjoy seeing it. TimDuke's General was featured at a car show with Tom Wopat just a few months ago. Since joining in April 2013, Roth_Potter has contributed over 500 posts full of Dukes of Hazzard goodness, most notably the Rare and Behind the Scenes Pictures thread, which has quickly joined the ranks as one of the best threads on HazzardNet. Val is our April 2012 Fan of the Month! Val's recognition is long overdue, as she joined us way back in 2004. Val is a longtime fan of Enos - hence her handle - and she was a fanfic writer and all-around goofball here on HazzardNet for many years. January is the time of the year that most folks dream of Waikiki Beach but the first Fan Of The Month of 2011 dreams of the beach all year long. If you haven't already guessed, the latest fan of the month is waikiki23. Even though waikiki dreams of Hawaii, her roots are practically in Hazzard County considering she was born and grew up an hour from Atlanta. Howdy there - I'm considering a few changes to how we select our Fan of the Month, in order to be fair to the growing audience we have. I've yet to discuss this with Mufn or MaryAnne so nothing is written in stone. Originally, our Fan of the Month was selected based on Forums participation (constructive) and/or material contributions to content, consisting of photos, info, fanfic, what have ya. We sometimes take tenure into consideration, as we've had some members with us since darn near the beginning. Sorry for the dry spell here. We have plenty of HNet members worthy of the fan of the month, but I got busy with a double-dose of "real life" stuff and ended up AWOL from HNet for awhile. Last I knew I was still in charge of this section so until MM fires me or throws me in the HazzardNet jail I'm going to violate the rules and give credit to a moderator, even though moderators aren't eligible. Hoss has been around this place for well over a decade and has logged in over 5,500 posts. It doesn't matter that none of them made any sense, that's a lot of posts. Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is standing in front of us. Both of these holidays remind us of how much we have to be thankful for. The moderators of the HazzardNet aren't eligible to receive the Fan of the Month award and since Santa is watching we're not going to break the rules. We are going to bend them a little by saving the best for last and designating the final month of the year as a time to honor our moderators. Meadowmufn, MaryAnne and Brian are like parents to us. I HAVE GROWN UP ON DUKES OF HAZZARD ALL OF MY LIFE

Harry, our fan of the month for February 2009, is fighting cancer. The doctors have said that there's nothing more they can do for him, but Harry's not giving up. We've started this thread so folks can offer well-wishes, words of encouragement, thoughts and prayers for him.
