Dukes of Hazzard fans... I bring you sad news. Robert Morse(Dewey Hogg)from Season 6 How To Succeed In Hazzard has passed away.

Good ol' boy John Schneider, otherwise known as "Bo Duke" from The Dukes of Hazzard, will be appearing at the Philadelphia Comic Con June 18th and 19th, 2011. A General Lee will also be on display. This show is crazy big, so if you plan on going, study up on the schedules, event times, parking, venue map, and all that stuff. Here's a link that you can follow to John's page for the event. Has anyone else gotten their copies of the new album yet? I got mine yesterday. I haven't gotten the chance to listen to it yet though. It has been far to hectic at my house lately.

I dont know if anybody else has heard, but I just read at cmt.com that "Good Ol' Boys" has been certified as the first platinum country music ringtone for sales over 1 million! I just think thats so cool!

For any and all of you 'Dukes' fans in or near the North Georgia area, please make it a point to come to the first ever "Hazzard in the Hills" event being held in Helen, Georgia on 08/16/08. The event will be very similar to the some of the original 'Dukes' gatherings of the late 1990s. It should be a lot of fun!!! GADuke01

The Hagerstown, MD Speedway is having a "Dukes of Hazzard" night on Saturday, June 9, with Ben Jones as a special guest from 4 to 7 p.m. A General Lee will also be there. Admission is just five bucks and gets you a full night of dirt-track racing events. For more info, see the website here.

Just heard that Al Wyatt passed away early this morning. Just wanted everyone to know about his passing.

This tidbit came from the back alleys of Hazzard, and I haven't verified it yet. But there's enough plausibility in this to go ahead and post what I've heard. Season 2 of the Dukes of Hazzard is expected to be in stores in time for Christmas shopping. November 01 is the projected release date. The Season One DVD is enjoying strong sales and has literally flown from the shelves. Reportedly it's been in the top 5 sellers since it's release. If released this fall as projected, it would closely coincide with the third Dukes video game that's slated for release this October. I was watching the local news tonight and got a big surprise. Before they go to the weather, my local station talks about human interest stories that are happening accross the country. When I heard them mention Conyers Georgia my ears perked up. For those of you who don't know, Conyers is one of the locations the Dukes was filmed at when the show was in its infancy during the first 5 episodes before moving to California.
