Introduce Yourself

Hi there. I'm an Englishman who's been living in Ireland for the last 7 years. I'll be 40 this year which means I've been a Dukes fan for about 3/4 of my life. I'm currently re-watching every episode from the beginning - I'm up to 'Goodbye General Lee' in series 4 at present, so I've only got 75 episodes and 2 (good) films to go! I finally got 'round to reading Ben Jones's 'Redneck Boy in the Promised Land' this year, and recommend it to anyone who hasn't. On the hobbies side, I collect 1:18 scale diecast cars, most of which are muscle cars from the late '60s and early '70s, and include 5 Dukes cars. I have also recently been playing around with vector based artwork again…

Hey ya! My name is Jami Lee. I just want say Hi!

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm a lifelong (well since i was 5) DUKES fan and yes that meansI was 5 when the show started in '79 and like it says in the song "19 Something" 'my first love was Daisy Duke in them cut-off jeans'. I've been a member for a while but it's been a while since I was active until recently. So I hope to be around more often now.

Good afternoon ladies and Gentlemen hope all is well out there. when is the next Dukes Fest and where? respectfully JD

I am in search for a General Lee that we could use to ride away in! If you know of anyone who may help Please let us know!

So I am a lifelong "Dukes" fan. It was my favorite show as a kid. When the Nashville Network put it back on the air when I was in college I taped every episode. So to quote/steal these questions from another thread: Tell us a little more about your love of the Dukes..... Favorite Character- Luke and Enos Favorite Episode(s)- High Octane, Daisy's Song, Ghost of the General Lee, Repo Men, Mason Dixon's Girls, The New Dukes Favorite Vehicle(s)- The General !!, Daisy's Road Runner, I always had a weird liking for Cooter's brown Chevy Towtruck in the early episodes as well Favorite Season- 1 (by far I love the Georgia Episodes both for how they were …

I have browsed for a little as a guest. Loved what I saw, so I went ahead and joined. Look forward to exploring more of the site. Especially the forums about former filming locations.

thought i would introduce myself as its the nice thing to do on a forum. hi and haro

Hey guys,my names Conall.I've been a fan of the show my whole life and have been visiting this site for about two years. I finally decided to make an account after Ms Peggy Rea died because a)she was one of my favourite character and i wanted to leave a heartfelt and personal message and b)because i decided it was about time to get to know everyone

Hey Guys! My name is Heather! I've been a big Dukes fan, and it never occurred to me that it would have a forum. I've been reading all these topics, and I knew I just had to join! I come from a line of Dukes! My last name used to be Duke, but I changed it and now it's my middle name. You all seem very nice, so I can't wait to meet all of you! Have a great day/night!

I've been a fan of the Dukes since they were on TV and making new episodes every week. (yeah, I got some age on me) I own all the seasons on DVD (and the new movie) and have a few die casts of the General. Anyway, I've had a couple Chargers over the years, but had to let them go for one reason or another. I just got a '79 F350 long wheel base wrecker. My intentions are to paint it yellow and put "Hazzard County Garage" on the door. I own a hotrod shop and I thought this would be a cool way to get projects to the shop. Especially considering I've gained a reputation for Ford trucks. My daily driver is a '79 F150 4x4. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hello All, I have been to the site a few times over the years and decided it was time to join the group. I have been a fan of the show since the begining. I consider myself very fortunate to have grown up watching this great show but being lucky enough to have been on set many times over the years, My father was one of the crew members on the show. He went back to Georgia for the first 5 episodes and worked on the show till the end. He was the driver of the "Insert Car" sometimes called "Camera Car" and was one of the many stuntmen who worked on the show. As a kid growing up back then it was just what my Dad did, I never thought of it as special. I was lucky enough to mee…

Hello all....I am selling one of my cars (1967 Corvette) and looking to fill the empty space in my garage with a car I've wanted since I was a kid...a General Lee of course. I have a 1 year old son and am looking to take him with me on weekend cruises with Dad. Can't do that in a Corvette. I thought I'd try this forum and see if anyone knows of one for sale. I search Ebay all the time but good examples are hard to come by. I prefer a GL in great condition with a 440 but I'd consider a 383. No 318's...No race cars or projects.....looking to spend around $35k give or take. Hopefully I'll have one soon and meet up with members of this fourm at future DukesFests.....went…

Howdy from Orlando, Florida! Just joined- well actually, signed up over a year ago, but haven't posted until now. This time of year always makes me think Dukes- perhaps because for the last few years we find ourselves in Galinburg, TN and I always stop by Cooter's while we are there! Mark

Hey all, Moparjohn here, just signed up on here as my good friend Tombo has good things to say about this site. I am a lifelong fan of DOH. I can remeber the first episode I saw "Limo one" and have never stopped my apreciation in 30 years. I have a 69 Charger, his name is Tennessee. The Charger is not a GL , it is a loaded dealers car w/ power sunroof, PW A/C, PDB, SE pkg, 6 way seat, cruise...... and I dive it all over the place, It's been to Hazzard Ga. 3 times for Dukes stuff. It has also been to Texas twice ithe the TDC. I have a small collection of DOH memorabilia and many items are signed. I am a horticulturist by trade, an avid gardener, and a model railro…

Glad to join the forums here! I'm 33, been a Duke fan since watching the series while barely out of diapers! I've had the pleasure of meeting Ben Jones twice. One of my most treasured pictures is him holding my 2yo boy and posing with the "Crazy Cooter smile". I also met Rick Hurst, have a picture of him writing my son and I a ticket while we were sitting in Ben Jones' General Lee! It's good to be here! - John

I am the grandson of Dennis Nash the man who owns Uncle Jesse's House in Loganville, GA. Me and him made this to try and keep intouch with the Hazard community and to tell on how the home is doing. He has enjoyed many visits by all who visit him and the home, even people from as far away as Germany and Roscoe(James Best) even came by once to shoot some video.

James Best, Actor, Director, Artist and perhaps best known as Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane on the CBS Hit Series "The Dukes Of Hazzard" will be doing a LIVE interview on Monday Aug 9th at 10am PST. I'm sort of new. I'm from Canada. I grew up watching The Dukes Of Hazzard reruns on TV. I recently begun watching it again as I have the complete series. My favourite characters are Jesse, Bo, and Cooter. I always had a crush on Bo.

I saw Kels workin this area, thought I'd come and check it out. So's anyways, how bout a little bitty of meh, eh? I'm random...I like to eat tacos, tacos are awesome, uum....Oh yea...Of course I like the Dukes, but I think Rosco is funny, though meh friend Kels blurts Rosco's sentences at times (not of randomness), but unlike mehself, I like to be random at odd times. I just wrote alot here....eat bananas! As meh name says...I like Rodney Atkins, got to meet him more then.......well actually I've seen him for, what? Six years now, he's a nice dude. If yalls wonderin who he is, well....he's a country singer since his 2005 hit single... If Your Going Through Hel…

Hello everyone I grew up with the Dukes and Knight Rider in the 70's and 80's. Before that I was a Herbie the Love Bug fan (still am). I was a giant Star Wars nerd for the longest time, now not so much. Nice site you have here. Really enjoying the behind the scenes pics
