I JUST GOT AN E-MAIL from Sonnny's agent and he told me due to family commitmemnts, SONNY will not be doing any guest appearances in the month of JUNE. So he will not be at DUKE FEST. I am still waiting to see if I hear from Don Pedro Cooley's agent to see if he will be there. DUKE OUT

If anyone has any pictures from the 2006 DukesFest that shows any of the orange wreckers / tow trucks (painted like the General Lee), please e-mail them to me at generaltowing@comcast.net I own the wreckers, and there was a malfunction with our digital camera, and we lost all of our pictures. We especially want pictures from Sunday, when we towed the cars off of the track after the stunt show. Thanks, Tina

any recent news where he's going to be?

Ben Jones is having a shin dig in Nashville with a few of the cast there to sign autographs, and there's another event in Covington the same weekend. Here's Cooter's event: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/hazzard-countys-40th-birthday-to-be-celebrated-in-nashvilles-music-valley-january-26th-2019-tickets-52503421146. I have an event of my own that weekend that prohibits me from going to either (I'd sooner go to Covington) but maybe one of you can make it and report back.

To those going, I hope and I also am sure, that you will enjoy yourselves at Dukesfest. Take lots of pics!

Maybe someone can post some information about the Hazzard Homecoming. I believe it starts in Georgia in a few days.

Saw it on Cooter's Facebook that Tom Wopat will be at Cooter's on 10/6 and 10/7. Here's the event page: https://cootersplace.com/event/oct-6th-7th-tom-wopat-luke-will-cooters-gatlinburg/ My folks have a place down the road a little ways, so I'm hoping to get there.

OK, I'm going to bed now! I have just finished packing and have a couple errands to run tomorrow before I leave for Duke Fest -- I hope to be in Nashville by 8pm to see the cast at the Grand Old Opry. See ya'll there! Dixie

As y'all know from my post that introduced me in the Introduce Yourself thread... I have been a long time Duke fan since age 9 1996 TNN. Well, in 2012 on 8/12/12 my big time dream of meeting the cast and getting their autographs finally happened. It was an awesome experience! The cast even stayed at the same hotel that me and my mom stayed at! I got to have breakfast with Enos at his room. He carried with him one of those portable CD/Tape deck players, and played the long 2:06 Waylon Jennings version of the theme song on it on the walk to his room. It was a very fun weekend, and an exciting experience that I will never forget! Tom(Luke) John(Bo) Catherine(Daisy) they all …

Did anybody that went to Dukesfest get any video footage of Stella Parton performing? The reason I ask is because I got to sing with her on one of the songs, and I was out there watching her for most of her performance. I wanted to relive the experience through video, and I would really appriciate it if anybody that got anything of Stella's performance could send it to me. You can send it by email cathybachfans@aim.com, joannasmithfan@aim.com, dollynellduke@aim.com, or dollysnumber1fan@hotmail.com or if you could upload it somewhere that I can easily download it and reply to this message with it, I would SO appriciate it!!! That was the greatest time of my life, just stan…

is posted on the second page of his official website. =)

Hey, did anybody get the Saturday Night stage show at DukesFest on video? In particular, we're looking for any video clips of Jacob, the lil' guy who was dressed up as Boss Hogg and who was on the stage with Cooter that night. Jacob was our Fan of The Month for June, as ya may recall. His folks contacted us to see if we had any video of him. Unfortunately, the HazzardNet Staff was traveling light and we didn't have any vid equipment with us. If any of ya'll have a video clip of this, please send me a Private Message via this board. Thank ya! Brian

Can somebody post a link about this?

anybody else from chicago going? i'm stoked about this one this year as hubby is finally working and i can afford to go down to it!

50 amp RV slot for 2006 Duke Fest at the Tennesse State Fairgrounds in Nashville, June 2, 3 & 4. Paid $120, will sell for $100. Also available are two adult tickets for both days. Our family really wanted to attend but my husband has changed jobs and is no longer able to go. Email if interested.

I get e-mails from Cooter's and got a notice today that Pigeon Forge is closing. Nashville and Luray will remain open. Maybe Hoss can post a link.

I see Smokey and the Bandit tribute artist characters at The Dukes of Hazzard event Bo's Extravaganza, and of course The Dukes of Hazzard tribute artist characters too. Would it be ok if I ever attend Bo's Extravaganza in my Alan Hale Gilligan's Island Skipper outfit?

Is anyone going to the birthday bash/celebration at Cooters’ in Luray next weekend? Looks like a good time with a lot of the cast there.
