Greetings all. Hopefully someone will be able to help me with this. I apologize if this is a repeat. I'm new to the DoH fanfiction universe, but not new to fanfiction. I have a few plot bunnies running around, but I'm going to have to get my hands on some DoH epsiode transcripts. Is there any central resource for epsiode transcripts on the net? Or does anyone have them hidden away on their harddrive somewhere? Thanks! -dee

I'd like permission to use some of ya'lls characters in my story please? I am trying to get B.L. aquainted with the folks around hazzard so if I could please use some of your characters I'd be much obliged. I'd be pleased as punch though if you yourselves would add to the story introducing your characters to her. You can respond here or PM me with your wishes. Thanks Brandy

If anyone would like to write with me feel free to send me a little ole message letting me know so we can discuss getting something going in the round robin thread. I love writing so I'm open to discussing writing something with someone else as well as writing on my own.

Hi you all, I'm kind of new here in town and just wanted to let ya know how much i like it. Especially the fan-fic part. When i started out to wright my own DOH fan-ficstory's (didn't know it had a name than) back in highschool. i thought i'd wass the only one who did things like that (Not a verry big DOH-fan group here in this small country. (NL)) Anyway now i see there are challanges and round robins and people wrighting great original story's. Can't say anything else but: i love it, i love it, i love it. To bad my english wrighting capacity ain't well enough to contribute , but i really enjoy reading yours. xxx JM

Howdy, Well our first meeting didn't go so well. It was a flop. No one showed. Oh well. I'm trying a new approach, having an open thread for the book club. Our fic that was in review, was "Dark Ripples" by Jax. In order for this to work, people need to read the fic and come up with questions or answer the questions that other readers put out there. There also might be questions for the author. Please say who you are directing questions to in your post. I'll start us off. Remember, that this thread has spoilers in it. So if you didn't read the fic, you're going to be spoiled by reading this. To readers: What did you think of the story? Was the characterization correct in…

The Dukes sure had a lot of wheels on the show in their 7 years. Everybody's favorite vehicle was the General but I wonder what was everyone's second favorite. There's a wide variety to chose from....there's 3-wheelers, a rolling casino, Nascar cars, the Beaudry's beat up truck, Jimmy Carter's Presidential limo, a million muscle cars, a couple Rolls Royce's, Loretta Lynn's RV and much more. My favorite is Mis Tizsdale's dirt bike. (don't LOL, I'm serious). I'm wondering...what's yours? Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.

It was one of those days in my home where the sun was in the sky the birds chirping but something was missing, My very own mother had passed away. Now this could happen to anyone but a Dukes fan is more than just a fan they are well kin folk. So after someone at Lou Step productions had read the obit, they called me right there on the phone. After we talked some they all said they'd come to the services for my mom. Now understanding this is happeing in a small town in Idaho of about 800 people. On that morning here came several rental cars, and everyone from the TV show was there to offer me sympathy. Fast forward to the day Paul Picard passed away. As I sat at the bed of…

Every so often I'll hear a Dukes of Hazzard reference made by a DJ on a country radio station. Once there was even a DJ going by the name of "Duko Hazzard" at a local rock station. Today, I heard the unexpected. A Dukes reference by a DJ on SIRIUS XM satellite radio. I was listening to the 70's on 7 channel. (yeah, surprise, right?) All of a sudden between songs, the DJ goes: "And tonight, on the Dukes of Hazzard, for the 10 millionth time, Boss Hogg tries to frame the Duke boys for illegal sheep sheering.." (baaas and yeehaa's interrupt) "...but the plan is foiled when Daisy pulls the wool over Rosco's eyes." (Dixie horn blares.) "Now back the music!" W…

A few days ago as I was driving down the local highway in the company vehicle, a similar sound floated on the radio waves and the tune from the local classic rock station sent a pang in my sentimental heart. The song that played was called "Wild Horses" and was performed by the band "The Rolling Stones". I felt my lip quiver and I could have cried but I knew I needed to keep my composure because I was picking up two of my "clients" in about a half hour and confidence is of the essence in my line of work. For it was about five years ago, I was sitting in a tiny dorm room, curled in a blanket and typing the Romance of a muse whom I adore. I could only dream of her life, and…
