Hey everyone, Pudge here from www.p-omgarage.com. I need some help with something. With the opening of the new movie and just the fact that I am a big Dukes fan I want to feature a General Lee on the cover on the next issue of the magazine but I need to find someone in my area that is hiding one in there garage. I want it to be as close to the original as possible. I went to Chryslers in Carlisle, PA on Friday but the ones I saw there on Friday weren't quit right. Just read on the Dukes-fest forum on this site that they have decided to shoot some new stuff for the begining of the film and have called back the cast and extras . Have a look at the post about it on the Duke-fest forum from one of the extras. Any news on this would be great?

I beleave that this movie was a outlet for a Dukes fan (if you can call him that) and to write a Duke movie based on what he felt how the Dukes should have been like. On CMT Insider John does say that the first 5 episodes did had more grip to them meaning they had some mild cussing, Daisy showed her body more, and I think they make some other references the later episoses didn't have. I think what Jay wanted to do was to capture the feel of those episodes but went a bit too far when he put references to Jackass and Super Troopers.. As for me, if it wasn't for it having the General in it, I really don't think I would have enjoy it as much as I did.

Hey, y'all. I'm new to the board but not new to the website. Does anyone have any thoughts on when we can expect to see an official movie poster for the Dukes? I keep checking the IMDB frequently, since usually that's one of the first places an official poster will pop up, but I haven't seen anything yet. -Keith

In My oppinion some of the cast should be original cast members aswell as some new faces. For Instance, Tommy Lee Jones would make a bad version of Roscoe p. coltrane because he lacks the personality of the charicter but, maybe a new charicter can be created with him in the movie or he can play Uncle Jesse's charicter ? If that wont work then maybe someone like Kenny Rodgers can play Uncle Jesse's character or maybe George Carlin? Roscoe p. coltrane's character can be played by, Don Knotts or Burt Renolds. I just saw Ben "Cooter" Jones him day before yesterday while his band performed in Suffolk, Virginia. I can tell you that he is so friendly you just wouldn't beleive it. He stayed WAY after the show was over shaking hands, posing for pictures with people and just talking with them. I was there for two hours as people waited the whole time in a seemingly never-ending line just for an autograph.
