Dukes of Hazzard Movies

I have mixed feelings about the upcoming movie. I love the original Dukes, but I hate what Hollyweird has been doing to the shows that many of us grew up on. Plus: I like the fact that Burt and Willie are apart of this project. Personally, I think that Burt would have been better as Roscoe and have Mr. Gainey play Boss. Gainey being the serious to Burt's comical side would have worked out better, but I'll give this the benefit of the doubt. The best part of the whole movie will be seeing the General Lee flying through the air. Minuses: Jessica (no talent) Simpson. Bit off topic, but it was just a gool ol winter country day in canada. Just looking back at the time of the duke boys in the 70's, watching how pure and decent everything was back then i decided to encode some film of my relatives farm through 1950-1977 and little did i know what to find 5 minutes into the flick! Dug this one up from the March 28th issue of the "Star" celebrity mag. Says here, Jessica worked out six days a week with a personal trainer, in order to fit her buns into the Daisy Dukes package. That's terrific, but has she ever watched a Dukes episode? Hmm. On an aside, the article goes on to quote the movie release date as June 24. I just thought I would put in my two cents about the new movie. I have to say I have read all the comments for and agianst. I know that I am not gonna see it because I just can't stand the whole reason behind it. All they did for a cast is pick whoever is popular right now. They are aiming it at Teens and Adults. O.K. that's cool but however what they are gonna see is not what the show was intended to be. A family show. Lots of people on this site seem to think that they could do a better job at making the Dukes of Hzzard tv show into a film. The film is not yet out and only a few people have seen a ruf-cut of the film. How can you moan about a film that is not out for a few months yet and you have not seen it. How would you guys have made this film what would you have done. Who would you guys get to star in this film. Who would write this film. Who would direct it where would youy film it? It would be fun to find out.

Here is another upset and sad review about the Dukes movie… I don’t think I’ve heard a good review yet, unless it showcases how “beautiful†Jessica Simpson is in her Diasy Dukes outfit. If this new "review" of the movie is true, which I doubt, there's alot of inconsistencies. First, the person says that the car starts off orange with different fonted numbers on the doors, but the flag isn't on it until after the first jump when it's wrecked? It's not even called The General Lee unitl some hillbillys help fix the car and that's when the flag is painted on along with "General Lee."
