Once you've had a chance to look around the new forums, please leave feedback here. I've already gotten some feedback and am trying some small changes here and there as well as finishing up the customization of the theme. Also, if you find any bugs or issues with color (I already know about the white background on quoted text), please post about that here as well.

I started a new group called JhonandTom a support group for the boys. I need ideals on how to help em.I have photos as well. I met with cooter and we talked for an hour about the show and the pops.He knows I strated a group.He was thrilled that I did! I will upload some pics of cooter sometim in the next few days!

We're trying out something new here at HazzardNet. A little toolbar should show up at the bottom of your browser that allows you share HazzardNet on social networks, check out our YouTube gallery, translate the site to other languages, and chat with other folks currently on the site. There are no downloads or any changes to your browser. It's all in the website code. Please give us feedback on it. Do you love it? Do you hate it? Do you like it, but with there were some changes? Well, the forums got hacked again. Thanks to Verve Hosting for the quick turnaround on loading the last good database backup. I think we only lost a few hour's worth of posts. I would suggest that all of you change your passwords, just in case. Meadowmufn

Just a heads up, folks. I'm seriously considering switching to another forum platform and am currently investigating alternatives. I will, hopefully, be making the change sometime in the next week, so there may be some intermittent forum downtime. I want to provide a better experience, including mobile, for everyone and the current software is not as flexible as I would like. If you have any suggestions or would like to provide some input, feel free to post here or PM me.

My webhost informs me that HazzardNet is being migrated to a brand spankin' new server. (I hope that means faster performance and less issues!) Sometime in the next 48 hours, there might be slight downtime as they transition over.

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm getting a little depressed that the HazzardNet seems to be past its prime. I know we've had ups and downs here but this downturn in posts seems to be a little more serious than the down cycles we've had in the past. Don't get me wrong, there's still some great things going on here, like Roth and Hoss's behind the scenes thread and Garrett's very active NASCAR threads but overall this place has gotten slower than a snail running on fumes and two flat tires in molasses. Brian posted a pic today on Facebook of the General Lee jumping with the caption "Happy Humpday" (since it's Wednesday). Well, one of our Facebook fans, Dawn, being the Dukes of Hazzard fan she is, corrected us. It's Happy JUMP Day! I don't know why Brian didn't think of that. It's what I pay him for. LOL. Hey, everybody. Sorry for the downtime today. The datacenter the HazzardNet server was in lost power while they were doing UPS maintenance. They had to migrate nodes to new servers due to filesystem corruption. I think HNet got through it relatively unscathed with minimal data loss, but if you notice any posts missing, that's why.

I think I may have figured out the solution to the login problem. It had to do with not updating instances of http to https. I think I've resolved the problem. Please let me know if you still encounter issues. -Mufn

Believe it or not, we actually finished a project around here! Our FAQ page has been updated with more Dukes of Hazzard facts. The topics were taken from the scores of email questions we've received over the years. We've also thrown in a couple little-known tidbits and included a brief history of DukesFest. I have missed being here, but the work I have now keeps me quite busy and hardly any time for myself.... As a lot of you know, I been depressed a long time, and I bounce on and off from here to there. I am trying to get better, and to some extent , the anti depressant pills I take helps a wee bit. I still feel like a failure a lot of times, but I try to pass by that. It was so great to be talking to Roger again, but I was sad to hear he would need heart bypass, that is scary, so I dedicate this topic to him, the more prayers to a successful operation the better. We try to be as fair and balanced as possible in this respect. I'm going to be changing things up in the forums here and I want your input on a few things: 1) Are there any sub-forums you'd like to be removed? They will be archived, not deleted. 2) Are there any sub-forums you think we can merge? (I'm thinking Latest News and Dukes of Hazzard News to start...) 3) Which sub-forums do you use the most and would like to be moved near the top? Feel free to post a list of the way you think the sub-forums should be listed top to bottom. That's it to start. I'll be posting some more questions for input later.
