HazzardNet Announcements

Well, I finally updated the forums to the latest version. The company that makes the software was going to stop supporting it by the end of the year. It looks a lot different, so it will take some getting used to. I will probably be making changes here and there to settings, colors, layout, etc for a bit. If you run into any problems or you have any suggestions, please add them here or PM me. We're dragging HazzardNet kicking and screaming into the future! 🤣 RIP Old HazzardNet. You served us well. We'll miss you!

Horrible news! I just heard that Dukes stuntman Al Wyatt Jr. passed away this morning. My prays and thoughts go out to the his family and friends.

If you haven't noticed, we have a new clubs section. There's a Boar's Nest there, created by @Tom Duke. Stop on by and pull up a chair.

As posted by one of our members elsewhere in the forums, and thereby enticing me to post it here, since the last thing I posted was about the Dukes NOT being on the air, so....by the time I say this it's probably gonna change again. Where was I. Oh yeah! The Dukes are supposedly on CMT on Thurs May 17, starting at 4:00 eastern, for a 4-episode, prime-time, mini-marathon! When are the Dukes on CMT next, after that? Don't hold yer breath, but per one of the TV listing websites, it looks like they might also be on May 30th, but as of that date it's back to the 1:00 a.m. time slot. As always I'll do my best to keep ya'll updated!

Here we go, looks like another Dukes of Hazzard mini-marathon on CMT! Here's what's listed on the CMT website and also on TVGuide.com. Eastern times shown. Thu, May 24 4:00 PM Great Bank Robbery Thu, May 24 5:00 PM Sadie Hogg Day Thu, May 24 6:00 PM The Ten Million Dollar Sheriff Part 1 Thu, May 24 7:00 PM The Ten Million Dollar Sheriff Part 2

It looks like CMT has pushed the Dukes off the schedule again. I hope it's not permanent, but it seems like every week, I see the Dukes scheduled on the national listings for the following week. Then when that week comes, this listings change again there's that dumbass "singing bee" or something instead. CMT's Dukes Facebook page has not had an update in several weeks. CMT's main website has also played bait-and-switch; I've seen them list the Dukes for earlier this month, and now, amazingly, they're not being aired for another two weeks. Currently, they have the next Dukes episode airing on May 22nd at 1:00 a.m. eastern. I do my best to keep ya'll updated on Dukes of…

"Whoever gossips to you, will gossip about you." Just a little old Spanish proverb that a lot of y'all should keep in mind.

Hoss and I (mostly Hoss ) have been working behind the scenes to build a Dukes of Hazzard wiki. If you would like to contribute any information that may be missing, make suggestions, or correct any erroneous info you might find, post about it in this forum. You can view the wiki here.

Please do not post the same thing in multiple topics. Pick the topic best suited for your post and post it there. Duplicate posts just make the forums messy and harder to find things. I don't know about @HossC, but I hate cleaning.

Seems HazzardNet got hacked. Fortunately, it appears damage was limited and I have banned the accounts involved. Unfortunately, upon upgrade, I lost a lot of the color changes I made to the forums and it will take me a while to redo. I also had to disable blogs for the time being, as they were throwing errors. Hopefully that will be fixed with the next software update.

I poked around a bit and found the setting to enable Facebook Likes at the top of each thread. If you're on Facebook, feel free to share your favorite threads with your friends.

I think I may have figured out the solution to the login problem. It had to do with not updating instances of http to https. I think I've resolved the problem. Please let me know if you still encounter issues. -Mufn
