Im going to visit some filming locations next weekend and I know the duke farm isnt looking so good i did hear a few years ago that a fan in alabama was thinking about buying and rebuilding the farm to how it was any news or updates on this ?

We are like Family here, talk about all sorts of things together, so why not have a specific Thread/forums dedicated to Birthdays of our home??? Recently, I've been watching a lot of "Americans React to" videos on YouTube. In the ones I watch they're mainly reacting to British/Irish TV shows and stand-ups, but a few are more general videos looking at the differences between us, i.e. two nations divided by a common language. It appears that while the Brits and Irish have been consuming US TV shows (Dukes included) and cultural reference points for decades, the exchange doesn't get far in the opposite direction. Hi there everyone, with the loss of Ben Jones (Cooter) in these past few hours.. it’s set me to thinking. What about our dreams? Cooter followed his, not only achieving a solid career in US congress. But also opening up the Cooter’s Place museums, HazzardRun car shows, etc. So that leads me to my question, what’s your dream in life? We’re all given a short amount of time on this earth. Hello, trying to figure out what some of the items are on the Boars Nest wall. In season 2 you could see a blue neon sign that looks like it says "Nesel" next to a poster with two women that sayd "From Me to You". In episodes 17 and 18 season 2, you could see them. Curious if anybody has ever figured out what those were. Also curious about a sign near the door in those episodes with a little Indian who looks to be holding a beer tray. It seems to be written in Spanish. Thanks

HazzardNet friends... Something that puzzles me about 9/11/01. How did the 19 terrorists get their box cutters past the metal detectors in airport security? The box cutters they used as weapons to hijack the planes, the blades I would think are metal and would certainly set off the metal detectors.

I was hungry. So I just made ate Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes and a Grapefruit. I peeled and ate the Grapefruit waiting for my water to cook for my Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes. I eat those Wal-Mart Great Value Mashed Potatoes all the different flavors in the packets. Just add water. 😋 Has anybody else here ever ate strange combinations like I just did?

An excellent suggestion by cousin Roger, was to start a new thread for the annual race this year! I thought...YES! That's an excellent suggestion! I'm going to smoke cousin Roger! No matter what he says! I've invented a new engine for the Moonshine mauler! It uses gas or shine equally well! I'll be communing with the spirits, while running the race and if I start running low on gas, instead of a pit stop, I'll save/make time, by pouring shine into the tank without having to hit pit road. John and Tom chose to walk off the set for more memorabilia residuals which they admitted later was a mistake. The producers had two choices, either keep the show going and hope the ratings didn't fall too far and have the show cancelled or just simply shut the production down which would have almost guaranteed no more Dukes. Thanks goodness Coy and Vance kept the show going for another season!

Did you know there's 2 ways of making Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. 1. Butter 2. Mayonnaise I like both ways. Mayonnaise cooks faster. With Mayonnaise I never have to readjust my sandwiches on the heat. Butter I have to move them around to toast evenly.

Are any of y'all like me? When you read a book that is made into a movie, do you see and hear the movie cast,songs,music,cues, scores etc.?

I haven't been here in awhile. Life happens and so I quit my job and started my own business. Anyway just recently I was told of a museum close to where I live that was like the Boars Nest. Literally 20 minutes from my house out a little 2 lane road was this awesome spectacle. It is Cooters garage from the California episodes and it is very much tv accurate. To the RH side he has built a screen accurate Boars Nest and when I say it is screen accurate I mean down to the original juke box and pinball machine. Boss's office has the pool table and the big sword fish on the wall. I can't figure out how to post pics on here since I'm just not great with that kinda stuff but …
