The Dukes of Hazzard Reunion(1997). It was 12 years ago at this time since the final episode of the Dukes aired on CBS. The characters went their separate ways. Bo went back onto the NASCAR Circuit. Luke became a smoke jumper for the Forestry Service. Daisy went to graduate school getting a P. H. D. in Ecology. She married a slick romeo named L. D., but it didn't work out. They divorced, and he got a job driving the bus for The Chick Weeds a Country band. Enos has returned from L. A. now a full fledged detective. Cooter became a Congressman for GA. This is one of my favorites, of Season 7…ultimately being the season premiere! I remember watching this when it originally aired! I love the flashbacks, and seeing things from 8 years before…Boss was thinner (ol’ Sorrell finally got to do an episode without the fat suit ), Rosco has this ridiculous mustache , and Uncle Jesse wore this fedora type hat instead of his trademark red ball cap. I’ve never been a huge fan of the Coy & Vance episodes…nothing against Byron Cherry or the late Christopher Mayer, they did the best they could with what the situation was. But, they were just sadly part of one of the dumbest & worst decisions Warner Bros. television & CBS ever made. And, I’m sorry but…even their “yee haws!” were cringe-worthy. I’m sorry, but I’ve always thought it was unrealistic & strange that Boss Hogg’s dad is #1: still alive, but #2: he basically looks to be barely a few years older than Boss. Also, he doesn’t look like the kind of man who would have gotten with Boss’ momma, under any circumstances —going by what we know she looked like, with her portrait Boss has (just sayin’).

“One Armed Bandits”, the Pilot episode that started it all, premiered 44 years ago today: 1/26/1979! 44 years later DOH is stronger than ever—yee haw! I’m thinking about watching the Pilot later this evening...along with the Boar’s Nest Special.

Byron Cherry(Coy Duke) and Christopher Mayer(Vance Duke) mysterious disappearance on this animated series when Tom Wopat (Luke Duke) and John Schneider(Bo Duke) return. Any of y'all out there on HazzardNet with yer ears on have any theories as to why the departure is not explained like it was in the live action series? Had to vent. This is something about the cartoon that bugs me.

Ok, I know it's one of the later episodes, what did everyone think about "Strange Visitor to Hazzard"?, if you haven't watched it, to cut a long story short an alien comes to Hazzard and Boss and Rosco want to use him/her (was never clear on that) as an attraction to bring tourists into Hazzard. Oh and two guys who are on the run for holding up a church bingo game try to take over Hazzard using the WHOGG radio station (I think that's the name...), anyway that's all from me, 10:4. Joe

Dukes of Hazzard fans... On YouTube, user TV Stunter's channel, the chopped up versions of The Dukes with only scenes not whole episodes, a chopped up Dukes is better than no Dukes? His/her channel is like old cable TV reruns TNN CMT and other network versions.

Does anyone remember an episode where Daisy is said to be visiting an Aunt but is back at the farm later in the episode? This is driving me nuts because I remember it so clear or think I do but I can' t remember the Aunt's name. Might have my timing wrong, could be closer to the end of episode, I don't know. I do remember Uncle Jesse trying to send Bo and Luke to stay with Aunt Lavinia and Luke telling Bo 'Jesse ain't spoke to Aunt Lavinia in 20 years.'

Every Duke fan knows about Bo blowing up the outhouse and destroying all Luke's car magazines but here is a scene I was just reminded of, when watching The Return of the Mean Green Machine from season 5. Miz Tisdale was delivering the mail in her dirt bike/sidecar when she came across Enos, who was stranded because mean green had pushed his car in the ditch. Enos hopped in the side car and they didn't get far before Boss and Rosco flagged them down and took the motorcycle. They needed it because Rosco destroyed his sheriff's car with a bazooka. Rosco drove the motorcycle and Boss was in the sidecar firing the bazooka at mean green but had a terrible aim and hit…

Has anybody noticed that at the end of this episode ( Which I just watched) , that Waylon said things went back to normal, which could drive a Wooden person crazy. A wooden person....? I've never heard of this expression! Have you guys?

Love this episode, and I wish Jerry Rushing had had a recurring role as Ace, and shown up in more episodes...considering he basically was DOH, as they created the show mainly based off his real-life story! But, the supposed Richard Petty wreck that Bo & Luke buy from Ace, is said to have been referred to as “Lee 1”...as it was originally a Charger turned into the General Lee—and was supposedly the very first jump on the show, in the Pilot. Which is said to be the jump over Rosco, in front of the Oxford College in Georgia, and forever included in the show’s opening. It totaled the car (obviously ) and later was repainted & used as the wreck in this episod…

I’m watching the 2nd episode “Daisy’s Song” at the moment. I love rewatching things that I’ve seen a ton of times, and still finding aspects I’ve never really thought about or noticed before! But, at the beginning when Daisy rushes out of the farm house (the original Duke farm house) to tell the family that her song is on the radio, there’s these other houses or sheds/cabins up behind them—and/or on the same property! I wonder whose those were...and what purpose did they serve? The Dukes didn’t have farm hands that I know of (they couldn’t afford them). How big was the Duke farm (all this pretending Hazzard world was real )? Just fun new questions that I know p…

This may have been posted before, and if this is information brought up before I apologize. But, I remember watching this episode when it originally aired when I was really little, and I have seen it several times in reruns and on my DVD set a few times. And all the times I have seen this episode in the past, I have never noticed a possible goof with Luke getting back into the General Lee. Watching the Season 1 finale again...Double Sting. It’s an okay episode, but not necessarily my favorite of the season. However, this time around I noticed something that for whatever reason I’ve not given much thought to before. When Uncle Jesse comes to the jail to bail Bo & Luke out, he gripes them out for making him have to use the farm mortgage payment. Okay...supposedly the Duke family had been farming there for almost 200 years (along with making moonshine). Whatever little land they had left around the Duke farm (as earlier in another episode Jesse talks about the depression ruining a lot of land), wouldn’t they already own it (and had for decades)? Watching this 3rd season episode again. Love this one...plenty of action, humor, and the plot was fun with Boss Hogg being the target. The scenes with the drunk driver Hobie crack me up ...as nowadays this would be considered a serious & dangerous offense (and rightfully so), but back then a little DUI action was no big deal...maybe a night in jail to sober up & a fine. I’m not gonna lie... I do not care for Season 2’s “The Runaway”. I remember watching this one when it originally aired. I never cared for the plot...but, the worst aspect was losing Daisy’s 1971 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Coupe! I loved that car, 2nd only to General Lee...but, the story goes that supposedly they found it hard to find replacement parts for the Satellite (although the car was barely 9 years old at the time? ) & Jeep offered the show some new 1980 models to showcase, so they had Daisy’s Plymouth destroyed by running it over a cliff. I love this episode it is really good and It's also really sad when enos jumps in the lake to get bo and luke and comes up with luke's pants and bo's shirt then when rosco tells uncle jesse, daisy, and cooter that's really sad i cried when i saw that, but i really like the episode!! it's really funny when they scare rosco while he's in his office!! Did anyone else cry during this episode??

Watching Limo One is Missing again tonight. I remember watching this one as a small child when it originally aired. Fun and hilarious episode, “luve” it, as Cooter would say, lol! But it was unrealistic as well. There were hardly any Secret Service agents, other than the couple in the blue sedan accompanying it. Even in 1979 there would have been more security guarding and traveling with the president’s car. But, still a memorable and enjoyable episode! I’d add some photos for fun, but they’re always too “big”.

Does anyone remember which episode has a rattlesnake down by the gas pedal of the general lee when bo and Luke are driving down country Road?

I think in Double Dukes Turk and Moody was used to put on and take off the Bo and Luke masks and wigs and during the wearing the masks and wigs scenes was really the real Bo and Luke. What you think?

I finally watched it today and it left me rather unsatisfied, it felt more like "just another episode" than the series final episode. It didn't seem like they cared much for it, like they just wanted to be done with it? That being said, it's still a good season and I enjoyed seeing Hughie Hogg again on this final/canceled season.

Australian Kristopher Kalnins does not like The Dukes. He blasts it saying "To repetitive of a show. Every episode is the same thing. Rosco chases Dukes. They go someplace and lose him. Dukes try to save farm etc etc." When I chat about the show with him, he says "There you go onslaught me with it again!" According to him "Unsuccessful!" If so, then why'd it last 7 seasons 147 stories?
