I just watched "Last of the Bad Men", it was a pretty good movie for bein' so old. Jimmie was in it alot too, that's why I even watched it in the first place, He was the young kid that had never killed anyone, and he was always nervouse.But in one part of the movie he sang and played his guitar, he's a real good singer. But the worst part was when he finally got the courage to leave the outfit of outlaws and when he went to the Marshall, who was in on everything the outlaws were doin' , and the Marshall shot him. Has anyone else here ordered this? and is within the untied states. Since I do not live overseas the time on shipping would not help many any for people that are oversea's since it takes longer. LOL. But anyhow... How long did any of you have to wait to get yours? I ordered mine on the 17th of March and then paid on March 19th. It said it may take up to two weeks due to high on demand but you never know when anything will arrive. I hope I don't have a issue here. LOL.

How refreshing to look at the TV/Entertainment section of my local newspaper on Saturday and see a blurb (with picture!) about how James Best will be getting the Harvey Award from the Jimmy Stewart museum. I just got an interesting call from my son-in-law. He was at his doctor's (up here in Erie Pennsylvania) and they started talking about various subjects. His doctor told him that his best friend just bought a vacation home in South Carolina. He then asked my son-in-law if he was familiar with Rosco P Coltrane from the Dukes of Hazzard. When my son-in-law said yes and that his father-in-law is a Dukes superfan, the doctor explained that the home was owned by James Best. Hmmm, I wonder if Rosco left any of his paintings on the walls or in the attic.

I just have bought a dollar copy of "Bad Man of Deadwood" and at first I didn't see James in the movie. But he is Newspaper publisher and he has a mustache, he is quite handsome in the movie don't forget he was a great deal younger than when he started on Dukes.

When my dad was seven his mother died and she left my dad, and his brother and baby sister.(She was only eight months old). My grandfather was a alcohic as well, and when my dad and his brother was six they was sent to Richmond, Indiana to the Worley Children's home to live and they stay there till they was eighteen and sixteen years old.

I was watching the local news tonight and a guy just opened up a restaurant in Harborcreek (near Erie Pa) called Rosco's. He said it was his nickname in the military. When they were interviewing him, he was standing by a shirt hanging on the wall. It was a shirt to re-elect Rosco as Hazzard Country Sheriff. (Yes, they spelled it "country". ) It didn't have Rosco's picture on it. It was a bulldog. That made me wonder if he was a Marine since they occasionally used a bulldog as a mascot. It was really cool to see a Dukes reference on the local news. I don't think I've seen that since the show was on the air.

Held not in a movie theatre, but in a restaurant/bar that features live music on a regular basis, far as we can tell. The event is $100 a ticket, with proceeds going to charity. While the venue is an unexpected choice, it does claim to have three 16' screens. If you go, you'll be seated at tables and looking at the nearest screen. I was watching a episode of My Wife and Kids and Claire was talking to guy in a chat room and his name was Pervis. Well Pervis was about nine years old but Micheal was worried that he was much older than that. I think the episode made a importance of watching where teen's go online.

Is James Best and David Hasselhoff related by some chance because they kind of look alike or maybe it just me? They both have that dark hair, and I have seen movies and tv shows where is show James Best pre-Dukes era. Well , certainly before 1979 and when he was in "Ma and Pa Kettle at the Fair" he gives a great one-liner to the lady that is talking to him after church.
