  1. Merry Christmas, y'all! It's been a rough year, but I have a lot to be thankful for, especially my Hazzard cousins who have kept my spirits up. Bless you all.

  3. Belated birthday wishes. I can't believe I forgot it this year. My only slight excuse is that it's a friend's birthday today, and I hope to see them later.

  12. Well done, Skipper. I also remembered the scene but not the episode. Watching the scene again, I remembered that it slightly annoyed me. When Boss reveals his string of dollar signs, every other one should be mirrored if they were cut out of a single piece of paper, but they all face the same way.

  13. I cannot, for the life of me, remember which episode it was in, but I seem to recall there was a scene where Boss Hogg cut out a string of paper dollar signs. Anyone remember which episode that was? Or am I hallucinating? LOL.

  14. Well well and well again, it’s Christmas Eve, here’s hoping y’all have a Merry Christmas! Tonight I’m planning on heading to the local church, and spending the rest of the evening with family at home, culminating in a night curled up with hot cocoa and a good holiday movie, The question is should I watch Christmas Comes To Willow Creek, tonight or tomorrow. Hmmm..

  20. A month ago, Dave Moore, the DJ on the morning radio show that I listen to, had a dream about writing and recording a Country Christmas song. He enlisted the vocal help of Clodagh Lawlor, one of Ireland's youngest award-winning Country Music stars who also presents a Country Music show on the same station. He revealed the song yesterday morning, and it's both fun and catchy. BTW. "Quality Street" refers to a box of candy, and a "Tayto multipack" refers to potato chips - both will be found in a lot of Irish homes at Christmas.

    One Word Song Titles

Here's something a bit different - some Irish indie folk music. I don't think I'd heard of Kingfishr a year ago, but yesterday the radio station I listen to announced this as their listeners' song of the year. Killeagh (pronounced 'Killa') is the hurling team that one of the band members once played for. He said he'd write them a song if they made it to the final, and they did. The top comment on YouTube says "This makes me proud to be Irish, which is weird since I am Norwegian".

  23. As far as I’m concerned, Dukes will always be one of the best family tv shows that ever aired, and let me say, I’m not a dad right now but I hope to be someday, and I want to share the love of Hazzard County with my kids, whether I have good ol boys or good ol girls, Hazzard is for everyone!

    Bo Duke belt buckle

Guys, I own a vintage belt buckle, same as the one Bo Duke had in the series. It's not a repop they did a few years ago but an original vintage one. Very hard to find but I decided it's time to let it go for someone else to enjoy. Not listed for sale anywhere yet so a real fan on here can get it. As it's rare and vintage it's not cheap but in great condition. Price is $175,- plus shipping. Still a decent price, they sell mostly between $250,- and $300,- as can be seen in the pic below. Who gets it?

  39. NB. 'Carnival of Thrills' is listed here as a single episode as it was originally aired as a 2-hour special. It appears as two separate episodes on DVD releases. The other 2-parters ('10 Million Dollar Sheriff' and 'Undercover Dukes') originally aired separately with the two episodes shown a week apart.

  45. I made a new friend, Gary from Pennsylvania. He is a Ford parts guy. This is his 1979 F150, with a souped-up 460 and 36,000 original miles. It was a show-winning quality pickup, and I'm glad he parked next to me.
