Hobie Hartkins
Bring it on down here cousin Roger....I'll show you some places you'll like and some where you can ride your bike and feel like a total Red Neck! This latest variant doesn't sound any worse than a common cold but that doesn't mean the next one won't be bad. Raining today but my Ninja got ridden 3 days in a row before this. I'm still getting used to it but felt pretty comfortable yesterday. The biggest thing I don't like is that I don't feel like a redneck on it. Oh well, after the novelty wears off I'll trade it for a dirt bike. I'm tired of Covid. This might sound crazy but back in November my wife and I took one of our cats to the Vet. We talked about Covid and the Vet said virus' usually last about 3 winters and as they mutate into various variants they do get weaker. He's a great Vet and has always been right when diagnosing the cats. He does a lot of research. I'm hoping he's right about Covid. You need a pickup truck to be a true redneck. lol Skipper Duke, Spike, RogerDuke and 1 other
Spike
Here's your pic Roger Got my winter hair trimmed off Saturday, back to my spring, summer and fall buzzcut. My hair grew out to about shoulder length over the winter so my head feels a few lbs lighter now lol. Caught some interesting things on the dashcam Saturday. Anymore it seems the worse the weather is, the worse some people drive. RogerDuke, Hobie Hartkins and Skipper Duke 1
RogerDuke
Thanks Spike. That's my baby. I got out today even though it was a little cool. Got 120 miles on it so far. Definitely not a redneck bike. Boss JD Hogg and Skipper Duke 1

RogerDuke
Back when I was on FB I did see a sport bike that was painted like a General Lee. The Dukes movie is on Dish Network right now on BBCA. Skipper Duke and Hobie Hartkins

It's amazing how many different cars all over the world are painted like the General Lee, from Fiat 500's to Ford Escort's to Lada's, heck even Ural motorcycles etc.. I don't think there is any other TV series or even movie car that gets so much love and reproduced on so many vehicular things. RogerDuke
The General Lee is still the most recognizable car in history....but a half General-half Hazzard Sheriff's car is really strange. Which half was the General? Was it split down the middle, or front/back....or was it all orange with the Sheriff's decals and lights, or none of the above? You are right.....the short time I was on FB I saw everything imaginable as a tribute to the greatest most famous car in history. I've been watching You Tube videos of Superbikes lately. My Ninja wouldn't be able to keep up with them but it looks like them. Now, where did I put that orange paint? Edit...maybe Hoss could see my Ninja that Spike put up a few days ago and turn it into a GLee. Had the 01 and General Lee above the door and sheriff's decal on the right side. No flag on the roof though. I couldn't use Spike's image because it's hard to recolor black panels, so here's a quick effort based on another image I found. There aren't many places for the graphics. You'll have to imagine the flag on the gas tank, because you can't see it from this angle. I haven't fallen this deeply in love since the evening I met my wife. Thanks so much for doing this. You amaze me with your talent. I remember the time you put Charlie Daniels beside Uncle Jesse at the farmhouse. I bet Jesse would love to see Emma riding wheelies on this delivering mail. Thanks again. RogerDuke
Getting snow right now. Could get up to a foot but the ground is pretty warm so it shouldn't accumulate that much. I hope not because my wife and her sister are driving home from Detroit. Skipper Duke
