October 23, 2025Oct 23 GENERAL lee ! * Cousin Hoss was talking about Fritters.....does anybody know what a fritter is? It's fruit ( apple, cherry etc.) wrapped inside a piece of dough, sprinkled in sugar. They can make them out of anything really but when Boss was talking about eating Corn Fritters, I thought it was a joke. I've spent every one of my 60 yrs. on this earth, in the south and NEVER heard of a CORN fritter. I thought they were, as they often do, on the show, poking fun of us and our way of life! But......HERE IT IS!! A CORN FRITTER!! I

I've heard of corn fritters, but don't think I've ever eaten one.
