Roth Potter
Cooter's Girl. This is probably between one of the soundstages.I didn't know they had their own private parking space, but it was to be expected.Clearly taken inside one of the soundstages.I don't remember this from the show, I guess it was only for the photoshoot. Roth Potter
Recently I was searching for some pictures on Google and saw that they updated the searches. Now almost half of the pictures are from this thread. Makes it harder for me to search on Google for new pictures. I don't remember ever seeing this picture.A card game I never saw. I wonder who the cop with the glasses is supposed to be.boss pointing a gun at Rosco?
Hobie Hartkins
That last pic was never in the show! I bet it was them fooling around between shots, and I bet it was that time Rosco was driving against the Harper boys...that's when he wore that helment! Roth Potter
Coy and Vance just before their photoshoot on Midwest street.Waiting for General Lee boys? There he is!Don't scratch the paint!
Hobie Hartkins
Those are good pictures! Warner Brothers did those two wrong! Their end ( esp. Christopher Mayer) was sad! I wish they had been worked into the show after Tom and John came back!
Roth Potter
It's very hard to replace the main Characters with others. Coy and Vance visiting Bo and Luke afterward would have been nice.Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler.Seems like boss made friends with the toy makers.I got no clue from which magazine this could be.I don't know what happened wo the police sign but it looks very bad. I don't think it's bird poo.Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler. From the second outing of Cale Yarborough on the show.
J_W_Booher
Not sure if this had been posted yet or not... But nice to see they pay homage to the old ways and things arent computer enhanced.
Roth Potter
Thanks for that video, I had seen the commercial but not the behind the scenes.Your message didn't pop up in the unread topics for me, weird.Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler.I forgot which episode this is from but it had something to do with boss wanting to join a jet set.Original from ebay user greenjeepwrangler.I think this is at one of the ranches' garages. I don't expect buildings at the studios to look so bad.this might not look like much but this one is taken inside the Garage where they made the first few General Lee's for the Georgia episodes. The Charger trunklid on the wall is from one of the first General Lee's. Before it was stolen by Travis Bell when he told the garage he wanted to make a replica of it. I'm not sure if my memory served me right but I believe he gave a replica back.Coy in front of the Courthouse.

Roth Potter
Thanks Ila. This must be between shots. I think I posted another shot of this shoot before. Here you can clearly see how they covered the Plymouth lettering.I know Catherine's legs are long but the angle the picture is taken plays a huge role in making them too long.A very nice picture though.I always thought they edited it in that Rosco jumped from the trampoline to the other place. Guess I was wrong.
HossC
I know Catherine's legs are long but the angle the picture is taken plays a huge role in making them too long.A very nice picture though."Two Legs That Are Worth Three Billion" - sounds like a slight exaggeration. Cathy's legs are usually said to have been insured for $1,000,000, but that would only come out at between roughly 0.8 and 2 billion Lira during the original run of the series. Still, it makes a good headline! Maybe Ila can read some of the rest and give us a translation .I always thought they edited it in that Rosco jumped from the trampoline to the other place. Guess I was wrong.I remember the scene, but can't immediately think of the episode. I'm assuming that Jimmie jumped from the ladder and bounced onto the airbag. It looks like quite a simple stunt, but I imagine there'd be a lot more paperwork nowadays.
Hobie Hartkins
It was that episode where Rosco was looking into a lady's hotel room, thinking it was Daisy's room and the lady's husband pushed him off a ladder he was standing on....can't remember the episode though! Roth Potter
It was something like that yes. Or was it that one where Rosco had to go into a room to search for some sort of Pearl Necklace?Bo opposite of Ace's car lot. In the background We also see Boss his Caddy, Lee 1 transporter and General Lee.
Hobie Hartkins
Well...now that you mention it....I'm not sure now!!!
jaak
Cool pics Roth Potter, thanks for sharing. In the pic with Rosco Jumping onto the trampoline, it's hard to tell because of the pic quality, but that stunt man was probably Bobby Orrison. He doubled James Best on the series. He actually got killed in a car accident a couple of months ago along with another stunt man. They weren't doing any stunts, they were just travelling in a car.Bobby Orrison...
Hobie Hartkins
That's usually the way! When you're prepared and equipped, etc....generally nothing happens, but when your guard is down or you're not expecting it....that's when it happens!! I'm sorry to hear this!! Roth Potter
Thats sad but common for stuntmen if I hear about others. A camera car from 'Casper Camera Cars?' at Golden Oaks Ranch. I don't recognize anyone in the picture. At one time I read a story about a camera car from the Dukes flipping over and killing a cameraman who was standing on the back. Does anyone know more about this story and if this is that car?Coy with some pretty ladies. The one on the right rings a bell but I can't seem to put my finger on it.Was this her most used outfit?Roscoe in front of what seems to be his own caravan? HossC
A camera car from 'Casper Camera Cars?' at Golden Oaks Ranch. I don't recognize anyone in the picture. At one time I read a story about a camera car from the Dukes flipping over and killing a cameraman who was standing on the back. Does anyone know more about this story and if this is that car?The camera assistant who died was Rodney Mitchell. Below is a newspaper cutting I found a couple of years ago, but never got around to posting. I'm afraid I've forgotten where I found it. I'm including it because of the obituary on the right. Here's a longer piece I found on news.google.com. As you can see, it's dated June 19, 1980.There's a follow-up from a couple of years later in an article at people.com.I've heard rumors that the truck was either overloaded, speeding or both. There doesn't seem to be anything online to back up these suggestions. I asked Tom Sarmento about Rodney Mitchell's death about 18 months ago, but he understandably didn't want to say too much about it. My memory's a bit hazy now, but I think he confirmed that the accident had occurred, and said that the company (I'm guessing Warner Bros) locked the truck away for years and wouldn't let anyone near it.The only previous mention of Rodney Mitchell I could find on HNet is a 2012 post of mine in a thread called Dukes Of Hazzard Story on YouTube. I commented that it looks like his son, Lance, has gone into cinematography.
Roth Potter
Thank you for those newspaper cuts.I wonder if any measurements were taken after, like putting a rollcage around the cameraman.I didn't understand everything from the first one due to the chosen word.
