May 3, 200818 yr You're both right. That's code talk for switching to CB channel 17. Alex now has 63 in a row correct. Many CBs had 23 channels in those days but later on, most manufacturers adjusted (adding more) and made the MAJORITY of their CBs with how many channels?

I do say loosely based because the the episode we are talking about and the movie the Dukes lose their house to Boss Hogg because of mining issue's which was good. At least they got the plot right but the L.S. Pritchard was a lady not a loud mouth Hazzard native that was in love with himself. And Bo didn't act that dumb ever in the series he had more brains than the movie showed.

It was coal and New Hazzard.That scene in "Farewell Hazzard" where Bo and Luke are at the farm after it had been emptied out and all their stuff was moved to Hatchapee was one of the most emotional in the whole series.
