We’ve got a real life Boars Nest where I live, and it’s pretty darn cool. I wanted to add photos but it’s not letting me for some reason, any advice y’all? 

Well here we go, this is a start anyways. Thank you to Meadowmufn for the assistance too, in troubleshooting the uploads. 
 

Y’all, this is The Boars Nest, located in a pretty little town called Cardinal. It’s got a lot of heart & soul. A lot like Hazzard. 

In the second photo, you can see more of the bar, including the booths. And in the third shot you can see the stage, where I’ve been told live bands come in from time to time.

You can also see this place wears its Hazzard County pride well, with those Dukes Of Hazzard Posters, and even a General Lee 1/18 behind the bar.   

This is the exterior, the front half of this building is the Boars Nest laundromat. y’all that’s right, guess the Boss has a laundry business on the side.

No problem Roger, always happy to share. It’s honestly a pretty good place to hang, country music playin, cold beer, (soda if you don’t drink) and some great people.

Also big news, big news. Not sure if shared this yet but found myself a girlfriend and she’s actually joined this site. Trying to get her into Hazzard, one jump at a time.

All of my photos on here are posted using an external image hosting site. There are many to choose from, and most offer a limited amount of free hosting.

Hey Tom, THANK YOU! You're a real Hazzardite!  Those are great pics.....especially the one with the Heineken pic on the wall!!! .....My favorite beer! The motto that got me through college was " Drink Heineken....you'll feel fine again!"

When I was growing up in the UK, Heineken's slogan was "Refreshes the parts other beers cannot reach". Apparently they used this from 1973 to 2005. More recently they've been sponsoring international sports like football (soccer), rugby and F1. The F1 adverts have concentrated on the "When You Drive, Never Drink" message. Here's one with ex-F1 driver Sir Jackie Stewart:

The newest F1 adverts are for their alcohol-free Heineken 0.0 brand.

Sadly, it was announced earlier today that Heineken are cutting 6,000 jobs from their global workforce. People just aren't drinking as much lager as they used to.

I've never tried the 0.0 Heiny but ....well it really defeats the purpose! LOL!    I would've given you a like but I'm out of emojis for today, so.....

I like it. I used to drink it with my Grandpa (Dad's Dad). We poured it into glasses and sprinkled some Pepper in it. 😋 Roger... Thank you for bringing back some good memories of my Grandpa.

Not many people are into buttermilk anymore. My grandma liked it and always had some in her fridge.

I've only ever bought buttermilk for making soda bread, and I haven't done that for a few years.

Same here! That's how I came to like it. In second grade the teacher asked who likes Buttermilk and everybody's like ugh! ...and I was the only one to raise my hand!

Do you mean biscuits as in biscuits and gravy, because if you do we don't have them here. They seem to be a US and Canada thing. The nearest we have are scones, which tend to be sweet and often contain dried fruit. What we call biscuits are what you guys call cookies.

We used to take Buttermilk and make biscuits from scratch. You put in the flour,  and mix in all the ingredients and some Buttermilk and....WOW! A great tasting biscuit....like sausage and biscuits, etc.....
