OK Hazzardites! I'm watching my Braves beat the Shine out of the Yankee Mets! ( How you like that, " Beat the Shine" out of.....!!) LOL! :)  The top of the 8th is almost over and those poor Mets haven't even scored! Ha! Ha!  Meanwhile I'm in Hazzard ( right here) and having a few....!! :) Where are you Roger? Haven't seen you in a Coon's age!

I've started to celebrate DOHD ( DUKES OF HAZZARD DAY) a little early. I'm free, tomorrow, wife is off and I just went through an endoscope on my stomach ( I guess it went ok)  and I have an appt. later this month and then another operation to fix a hernia that was supposedly fixed last year! ( NEVER!!! NEVER go to Dr. Scott Copeland, Cookeville Tn.)  He is a Quack......unless you like being operated on every 6 months! But anyway, I've got most of it behind me.....I think! But......IT IS.......DOHD!!  HAPPY EARLY DOHD!!!

I'm starting to celebrate DOHD a little early with some old No. 7 ( The doctor says beer might make my esophagus, which he operated on, bust open, so I'm going to watch DOHD after Jeopardy and then later tonight, I'll try to get back on here and tell you what I'm watching. Cheers to Jack Daniels ( RIP)  and old No. 7. Sour Mash!

* Interesting note- Jack Daniels is a world famous, very popular whiskey and it's made right here in Lynchburg Tn.! ( Moore county)  a dry county, which means it's illegal to serve alcohol at restaurants and you can't buy alcohol anywhere in the county but No.7 is made in the distillery and shipped OUT of the county! :)

Well I just got done watching the evening news for the first time in a while, and it makes me nostalgic for the days when tv stations would sign off after prime time shows. Bring it back y’all, we live in an age of information overload, and even though I’m apart of the techy Gen Z generation, I honestly long for simpler days.

That’s why we bought a vintage 70s landline phone for our house phone, I’m sick of too much tech. Why don’t kids get off the stuff and play outside in the mud and drink water from a hose again?
