They didn't actually get what they needed from LuthorCorp, Clark actually "shucked and jived" the psycho's. But Clark figured out that Lex was spying on him and Chloe when they broke into LuthorCorp, Lex denied spying on them and they fought. I'm not sure that the friendship is truly over yet, but I think I do see the beginning of the end for the two of them. LS3

Sadly we have a while to wait for this excellent episode, it is from the seventh season. LS3

Bo wasn't in the episode because John was filming the movie Dream House. It was Luke that came up with the idea!! The episode you're thinking about may be the fourth seasons Coltrane vs. Duke!! You're right - my apologies - I had my episodes mixed up... LS3

I love how in Baa, Baa White Sheep Flash is the only one who can tell which is Boss and which is Abraham Lincoln Hogg...and for once it was Bo's idea to use Flash. LS3

John did do some of the driving stunts on the show - though not the jumps. It's said that he got very good at the 180 degree turns and sliding stops. He and Tom also did some of the other stunts - the ones that were less likely to get them hurt. You might like to read The Dukes of Hazzard : The Unofficial Companion by David Hofstede if you haven't had the chance to yet. It's available on Amazon.com as both a new book and they are showing it available under used books as well. LS3

I agree with Canadian_Country_Cousin, I think that they gave it away as a sort of statement that family was more important than money. Also as a reminder that no matter how bad off you think you are, there's always someone out there that needs that money more than you do. LS3

I want to get Duke's season 4 soon, as well as Smallville Season 2 (I still haven't seen the resolution to the cliffhanger of season 1!) and Hogans Heros season 1. LS3

I admit, I'm a Rosco fan...he's a great character...I love how silly he is, and I love the times he's not so silly too... LS3

I don't think that the second reunion movie has been "officially" released, so you won't be able to find it at Amazon, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, etc. Unfortunately the copy I taped off of TV did not turn out. I'm really hoping that it comes out on DVD eventually. LS3

You might find toy bow and arrow sets, they have suction cups on the end (if you have a Ben Franklin or another "old time" variety store, they might have something like that). Whatever you do - have a great time! LS3

The Dukes did make a little money off of the farm, and also Bo and Luke presumably did odd jobs for people. In one episode you see them going around and collecting what people owed them for roofing work, fence repair and other things. Plus, don't forget gas was a heck of a lot cheaper back in the early 80's.... LS3

I can clearly remember Rosco going under the hood of the General at one point - it wasn't during the "Drag 'n Fly", was it anyone??? Sorry I do remember that it was before a race, I just am not sure which one. LS3

I haven't personally seen a General Lee where I live, but a friend of mine who lives in Virginia told me that he saw one on Thursday. We have a lot of cars around here that have Dixie horns, but not too many actual General Lees (at least that I've seen). LS3

Happy Belated Birthday! Brian's right, age doesn't matter, and also you're only as old as you feel. I passed the "half-way to fifty" mark several years ago, and some of the best things in my life have happened since then. Go out an enjoy life - the rest will come when you least expect it. LS3

To this point I have not given my review of the movie because it matches what a lot of other people have said. But I have to disagree with the above statement. Rosco neither looked, or acted like the "real" Rosco, in my opinion. I enjoyed the car stunts in the movie, I even enjoyed some of the lines in the movie, but I did not like the way most of the characters interacted in this movie. I hated the fact the Boss and Rosco were meaner than in the original. I didn't like all of the swearing on the part of all of the Dukes (including Uncle Jesse). The antagonistic nature of Bo and Luke's friendship had it's humorous moments, but I would have preferred that Bo and Luke be friends, rather than trying to hurt each other. One of the strenths of the original series was how the cast worked together, that did not happen in this movie, at all. Overall, the movie was slightly better than I had hoped, but not as good as it could have been. I didn't expect the movie to be an exact replica of the series (actually, the movie Bo and Luke won points with me because at least they were their own characters, not clones like Coy and Vance). But I did expect some of the elements of the Dukes to be there. The only true elements of the Dukes of Hazzard I could see were the "formula" for writing a script. In other words, most Duke's episodes had a few things in common. Car chases (mandatory), Boss's greed (though in the series he usually turned out to be a good guy), Boss trying to get the farm, and a lesson at the end of the episode. The movie had these elements, but they did not mesh as well as they usually did in the series. For me by far the best part of the movie was the General on the big screen (flying or driving), I haven't decided if I will go to see it in the theater again for the General, but I might, just for the General. I will likely buy it for my collection - again because of the General Lee. I would have enjoyed the movie much more if the character elements were in place as well. Not commenting on individual acting ability, and I certainly didn't expect the original cast to be in the movie (maybe if they had made it 20 years ago...), but I would have liked the movie a lot better if the Dukes truly acted like a family, and if Boss and Rosco had the kind of Laurel and Hardy type relationship that James Best and Sorrell Booke brought to the characters. For me there will only ever be one true Dukes of Hazzard cast - but I am grateful to the movie for one reason - it's kept the Dukes of Hazzard alive in one form or another, and has hopefully generated enough interest to keep the Dukes going for many more years. LS3

Dukesfest has been in Bristol, TN for the past 2 years (someone please correct me if I'm wrong!). There are lots of hotels nearby - if you go to the Bristol Motor Speedway website there are plenty of references to local hotels. I believe there is also camping nearby. Also Bristol is partly in TN and partly in VA, so if you look at Bristol, VA there are plenty of hotels there as well. Merchandise at the festival does tend to be a bit pricey - but I don't think any more than at any other event. LS3
