  1. Good Grief, Chet... can't you leave Brian alone, he's a busy man. Daney
  2. Sorry 'bout that Capt. One of the first season writers on One Day At A Time was none other than... Dukes creator GY Waldron! =) I'll get back to you on Barbara Eden. Daney
  3. Check ebay for the 1980 and 1997 ones! Johnny Lightning Hollywood On Wheels 6 (1/64 scale)... http://www.playingmantis.com/jl/products_details.php?productid=384 Found a place online that has one of the Johnny Lightning Hollywood On Wheels 6 DOH vehicles... http://www.ediecast.com/cgi-bin/edlist.cgi?pmode=SEARCH&search_str=Hollywood&pg=2 =)
  4. You're welcome. =) Charger, where did you find the pictures that are in your signature, both are nice.
  5. That's a good idea, Darrell. 6 degrees can be alotta fun. =) Is there a certain show or actor you had in mind to start that thread? And thank you, Mrs. Luke Duke for sharin' that information, it's kewl.
  6. Welcome to the site, Charger and Stonewall. Nice avatars, you both have. =) After glancin' through this thread, have a group to add... Styx!!! I'll be seeing them, along with REO Speedwagon and special guest in a coupla weeks.
  7. And not the usual alot of the same folks "guest starred" on both series. Clue: Nelda Volz and Peggy Rea both played a character named Emily on this show about a mother and her two daughters that started in 1975, ended in 1984. Who was one of the first season writers? Daney
  8. Capt, That's too bad the show was canceled. But ya never know, you could have another oppurnity to see Vicki Lawerence. Daney
  9. Good list so far. =) My choices are ones that had a grudge against the law and order in Hazzard... Boss: Digger Jackson Rosco: Sue Ann Bliss Enos: Frank Scanlon Offered variety to the "Duke boys in trouble with Boss again" formula, which was good but every now and again it was good to be able to see another side to Rosco, Boss, Enos and Cletus. The Jones family, Ma Harper and her boys were alright, along with Benson (not Diane LOL) and Hixx. The one I enjoyed the most was Thackery from "Bad Day In Hazzard." Daney
  10. LOL, Val you sound like Florence Jean Castleberry with "kiss his grits" remark. =) Alice was a fun show that would still be at the top of viewing list if some newtork would kindly put it back on the air. Or least release a DVD. There really isn't alot of new shows I like. I'm grateful that TBS still airs Mama's Family, WGN has Rockford Files. Daney
  11. Thanks, Inga! It's really interesting to see most folks got Bo or Rosco, followed by Daisy. =)
  12. Khee, Dixie. It's nice to know someone else thought the same thing. Was there a particular vidcap shot you wanted? If you don't mind the TNN verison of a photo, I could try and get that for ya. Daney
  13. 1hellraiser, that's the first time I've heard that the movie was a sequel. Would you mind sharin' a little more detail if it's available online. Thank you. Dixie, Both good scenes you mentioned. =) Daney

    Hooper

http://www.bentmyggen.com/hist2orig.html credits Bent Myggen. Although, that would've been kewl if James Best had sung it. =) Daney
  15. Jamanda and 1hellraiser, I enjoyed the verisons y'all posted! Good job with keeping it nice and simple. To the point without over doin' the details and making it a long drawn out ordeal. =) Daney
  16. Bo blinked in surprise and put a protective arm around Beth’s waist at a new figure's arrival disrupting their time alone. “Hey, cousin. Beth.†Daisy said quietly. “Cooter called. Rosco and Enos are on their way to the farm,†She paused, noticing the attentive look on the young couple’s faces. “Luke is headed over to Panda’s place until this thing clears over. Thought I’d see if y’all wanted to go before I left too,†She took a breath before continuing. “Cooter also said that Sunshine reported seein' Garrett near the railroad track crossing on Oak Street.†(cue Beth!)
  17. At one time, I did have something started with this very idea. I would like to see someone do this idea too. Now if someone takes this challenge, would you prefer it to be classic without a created character?
  18. Moonrunners. The best place to get a copy is ebay, vhs or "bootleg" dvd can be found. About the only other option is if you can find someone who taped it when AMC aired it a few years ago and they'd be willing to make you a copy.
  19. Mr. BamaMediaMafia, The original producers wanted a blonde "Dolly Parton" type. Which was why Catherine Bach almost didn't try out for the part, but she did and the rest is Hazzard history. I agree that everyone has their own verison of how they see a person, but I happen to have met several cast members, and they don't as you put it "are only nice to their fans because that is the only way they get attention these days." In fact you're only one out of many DOH fans that I have had the pleasure to know or speak with, to say something like that. Granted I may not be a part of any Hazzard society or club, be anyone importnant but there are childern who read this board, you are entitled to free speech and all that jazz, could you and others please refrain from cussin'? Thanks Daney
  20. Along Came A Duke (#52), season 3. Very good ep! For some reason, Chris Hensel the guy who played Jeb Stuart... reminded me of the fella who played "The Greatest American Hero." Dixe, saw your post a fanfic thread and yeah that would be cool if someone ever wrote that out. =) Unfortunally, I don't have any vid captures of this episode.
  21. Bo and Luke sighed at the sight of the brunette law woman in emotional distress. They gave each other a look, hurried outside. The Duke men stopped in mid stride to the General at the sight of a familiar face behind the wheel of someone else’s car. “Rosco!†They hollered to the driver of a green Plymouth Duster, it’s engine turned off a second before the Sheriff’s lanky form emerged out the driver side. “Boys, I had permission. Appreciate if y’all went over to the jailhouse, check to make sure Enos got two rogues cuffed and stuffed.†His blue eyes flashed darkly for a moment. “G’wan.†He ran toward the hospital entrance doors. The boys watched quietly. “You wanna drive it?†Luke jerked a thumb toward Hunter. “Hmmm,†Bo hesitated. “Maybe one of us should stay here with Rosco and MaryAnne.†“They have each other, Brian’ll -†Luke paused, stepped over to the General. He got in the driver side of the orange stock car. Bo got the in the passenger side. “We can pick it up when we report back to the Sheriff about Enos.†“If you insist, cousin.†Bo got comfortable, fastened the safety belt just like Rosco always said too. He guessed that the two men that had caused Riddick’s dilemma were now guests of the Hazzard County Jail. (cue Author Denise... Daney)
  22. (It's simple, love. Without consultin' anyone, removed the piece so Brian's arrival at the hospital would be more storyline congruent. I gave my word to Miss Denise many moons ago about makin' an apperance in this story and completed that goal. Basically, it's up to C., MaryAnne, Brian etc to finish this adventure. Opps, I think MaryAnne said we weren't suppose to do this but sometimes a side note to everyone is the best policy. Daney)
  23. Jamanda, that is Ghost Of General Lee. Awesome episode. =)
