Rosco is driving it, Boss Hogg is peaking out the peep hole telling him where and when to stop. He crashes into the Boars Nest. Boss Hogg:"HOLD IT! Yer breakin' up the Boars Nest!" Rosco:"Yeah. I did scuff it a little bit didn't I?" Boss Hogg:"You sure did!" He backs up and crashes into the front of Boss Hogg's Cadillac. The front bumper falls off. Boss Hogg:"HOLD IT! Yer destroyin' my car!" Rosco:"No. I just knocked the front bumper off a little bit." Boss Hogg:"It's good enough right here! Leave it, before you wreck the whole place!"

Season 1 Daisy's Song Daisy Duke:"Gee, I knew it tough to get into show business, but I never heard of them usin' guns to keep you out." Luke Duke:"Well, those .44 magnums convinced me." Daisy Duke:"Why would a music publisher need a bodyguard?" Luke Duke:"I don't know." Bo Duke:"I just don't like bein' sent home with my tail tucked." Luke Duke:"Hey. We can't go home, tucked or otherwise. Now, Jesse said "Either get the royalties or Daisy's 50 bucks back" we ain't got either." Bo Duke:"Well, maybe we could reason with Starr, if his trained ape wasn't around." Daisy Duke:"How do you plan to do that?" Bo Duke:"What's the last thing he expects right now?" Luke Duke:"A fat man in a red suit drivin' reindeer!" Bo Duke:"No, us! We'll use Stonewall Jackson's old tactic! When they think yer runnin' away, you attack." Luke Duke:"Stonewall Jackson had the Confederate Army! I got you!" Bo Duke (Pointing at the car):"An' General Lee!" Daisy Duke:"Ok boys. Now I'm gonna be in the back with the motor runnin', in case this doesn't work out." Luke Duke:"An' it won't!" Bo Duke:"Luke, if you don't believe in this, then how come yer doin' it?" Luke Duke:"Because facin' a gorilla with 2 guns is easier than facin' Jesse. Come on, let's go!" Now Daisy, you pay real close attention alright."

Gilligan's Island Trivia: The Lagoon was only but a pond 4 feet deep, and went nowhere. They added that curve around corner at the end to give the illusion of the Lagoon dumping into the Ocean.
-
Gilligan's Island Fun Fact: Sometimes Lagoon scenes were delayed due to noise of rush hour traffic on the Los Angeles Freeway.

I like how Deputy Barney Fife sorts mail in Mayberry North Carolina in The Andy Griffith Show. He's sitting near the trash can. He rattles off who it's for and if it's for "Occupant." He drops it in. The Fred Sanford mail sorting in Watts Los Angeles in Sanford and Son is very comical too. "Put it back in the mailbox!" I laughed so hard at this Sanford and Son scene. Lamont Sanford:"Pop, look at all these bills! Now, what are we gonna do about them?" Fred Sanford:"Well, I told you what to do with 'em. But, you wouldn't listen to me. I said-" Lamont Sanford:"Yeah, yeah, yeah! I know, "put 'em back in the mailbox!" Fred Sanford:"Well, then, why didn't you?" Lamont Sanford:"Pop, will you be serious!?" Fred Sanford:"I am bein' serious! You put 'em back in the mailbox, we never received 'em!" In our world, the real world, as tempting as Fred and Barney's methods are, they're unfortunately not an option. Because not like them, we'll go to jail.

Red flags with my October 3 2020 Bluenox Sialkot Pakistan Skipper's hat Cap I bought. Mom later repaired to Mouse Braid to match Alan Hale Jr. # Red Flags: 1. _Lack of transparency_: No "Replica" mention in the title. 2. _Suspiciously low price_: $38 for a rare, unique Authentic Mouse Braid rope design. 3. _Hidden shipping costs_: Making the initial price seem deceptively low. 4. _False scarcity_: "Hurry! Other buyers are interested" message to rush a decision. 5. _Unreasonable time pressure_: Same-day 12-hour window to complete the purchase. "The whole transaction was just chucked full of red flags. It had more red flags in it than the movie Caddyshack had Gopher holes." Lol.

"Hey fellow Gilligan's Island fans! Skipper here, sharing some fascinating insights about the iconic Skipper's hat. Did you know that the Benford Yacht Hat and Midway Uniform Cap Co. hat are essentially interchangeable, with the only difference being the embroidery style? The Benford Yacht Hat features hand-embroidered Gold Bullion Wire, while the Midway hat has a machine-made, sewn-on patch. In hindsight, the $262.05 Benford Yacht Hat is essentially a premium version of the $65 Midway hat. It's worth noting that the Gorget rope design is standard on the Midway catalog version, but it's only accurate for Alan Hale's appearance in the 1987 Alf episode "Somewhere Over the Rerun." In all other instances, including the original Gilligan's Island series and movies, the Skipper's hat features Mouse rope. Share your thoughts, and let's keep the Gilligan's Island spirit alive! #GilligansIsland #SkippersHat #MidwayUniformCapCo #BenfordYachtHat"

Christine fans... In the football injury of Dennis Guilder, Stephen King struggled with how to tell the story of Christine during that time. Because it was being told thru Dennis up to when he got hurt. It went back to Dennis's point of view after he healed up.

(Season 1 New Neighbor Sam.) Gilligan and Skipper are being kept awake by Gilligan's new pet Parrot Sam. Sam keeps saying "Sam wants a cracker!" Over and over. Skipper:"Gilligan, your parrot wants another cracker!" Gilligan:"But, I already gave him 15 crackers!" Sam:"Sam wants a cracker, Sam wants a cracker!" Over and over again and again. Skipper:"Well, you better make it 16, or we'll never get any sleep!" Gilligan leaves hammock to get Sam his 16th cracker. Starts to climb back in. Skipper (In his lower hammock):"Gilligan, as soon as you get back in your hammock, that bird is gonna another cracker! Why don't you give him the whole box, so we can both get some sleep!" Gilligan:"You're a real smart man Skipper." Skipper:"Of course I am Gilligan." Gilligan (Back in his upper hammock.):"That was a good idea Skipper." Skipper:"Gilligan, all it takes a little common sense and logic." Gilligan:"I never would've thought of it." Skipper:"Gilligan, that's why I'm the Skipper. So I can solve the problems as they come up!" Gilligan:"You sure solved that one! Sam's got all the crackers! What else could he want now!?" Sam (repeatedly on this trip now.):"Sam wants a drink of water!"

I don't know if I will do this. But I have an idea to ask Benford Yacht Hat if customers can order a custom made Mouse Braid rope version from them. If it's doable for them. That way, buyers can choose Straight Gorget Braid or Twisted Knotted Intertwined Mouse Braid. Their hat is already 99% Lancaster anyway. It only lacks that 1% which is a Mouse Braid cord. And BYH could also go on selling the catalog book Gorget version too. They don't have to cease their original design. This idea depends on one thing though, that is if they will do it, would they have enough customers that would be interested. If all they get is the Gilligan's Island Fan demographic, that might not be enough interest for them to agree to it. It might cost Benford Yacht Hat more than it's worth for them to do this, and then to not have enough customers who are interested in a Mouse Braid version. And their original catalog book Gorget Braid version is $249 + $17.05 shipping= $262.05, I'd hate to see what their version of a Mouse Braid hat would be. Gorget Braid with BYH is already thru the roof. Probably be $400 or higher for their Mouse Braid version if they agree to making this happen. They feel $249 justifies their Gorget Braid version. I don't want or need anymore Skipper's hats. I'm perfectly content with the Sialkot Pakistan Bluenox eBay bait and switch Mom fixed up with Mouse Braiding. But this is just something I'm curious about. Wondering if it's feasible for Benford Yacht Hat to do. To offer both versions Gorget Braid and Mouse Braid.

Hey friends! I wanted to share my thoughts on my Skipper's hat. Some of you have said I should've splurged on the $249 Benford Yacht Hat from Inverness, Florida. But here's the thing: even that hat uses the same Gorget Braid style as the one I got from Pakistan. So, whether I spent $78.29 or $249, I still would've needed my mom to modify it to get the screen-accurate Alan Hale Jr. Mouse Braid rope band style. For me, spending less and making it work was the better choice. What do you think? Would you rather spend $78 or almost $300 for a hat that still needs modifications?

Alf Somewhere Over the Rerun (1987) Alf:"Hey Gilligan. That Mary Ann is kind of cute. How come you never asked her out?" Gilligan:"Where would we go?" Alf:"Ha ha ha! Where would we go? Ha ha ha!" Skipper:"This little fella is easily amused Gilligan!" Gilligan:"Yeah! I like him!"
