Some videos of the Next Gen Cup car Daytona testing. I hope they don't change a thing about the engine sound, those sound awesome
  2. My dad and uncle tried to do some Three Stooges plumbing repairs over the weekend and now my dad doesn't have hot water . I told my dad you should have just called a plumber in the first place since you know the house was not brought up to code when you bought it in the late 90's. Now it's going to cost him more because the plumber has to fix their screw ups along with the original problem. You'd think my dad would learn from his penny pinching mistakes but no he just makes more over and over again. Of course it doesn't help when his brothers enable him instead of saying "No hire a professional".

For his dangerous actions after wrecking at Darlington Kyle Busch has been fined $50,000 https://m.nascar.com/news-media/2021/09/07/kyle-busch-fined-for-violations-at-darlington-raceway/ In my opinion they should have made this sting a bit more, $50k is a drop in the bucket for him considering his annual salary is most likely in the millions. $250,000 and maybe some points taken away would have been a nice deterrent to more of his childish outbursts.

Well that was the weirdest Southern 500 finish I've ever seen, even caught the commentators off guard, they thought Denny's car had an issue. To me it appears Denny Hamlin slowed way down in turn 3 which caught Kyle Larson off guard and Kyle wrecked trying to avoid running into the back of Denny. For a few playoff contenders it was a bad race. Michael McDowell got loose and hit the inside wall early in the race. Two Hendrick Motorsports teammate's William Byron and Alex Bowman bounced off of each other on lap 14. Kyle Busch got loose when Austin Dillon was trying to pass on the inside and hit the wall. The crowd erupted in cheers as Kyle threw one of his famous tantrums and drove his car straight to the teams hauler nearly hitting someone in the process which of course got him a ticket to the Nascar Officials hauler. In his interview he blamed his team as usual. William Byron suffered a tire deflation after one of the tire changers accidentally knocked the valve stem off the LF tire and hit turn 1 wall. Ryan Blaney suffered a brake failure late in the race. Top 10 1 Denny Hamlin 2 Kyle Larson 3 Ross Chastain 4 Martin Truex Jr 5 Kevin Harvick 6 Kurt Busch 7 Brad Keselowski 8 Joey Logano 9 Chris Buescher 10 Austin Dillon Apparently Front Row Motorsports is not dropping out of the Cup series in 2022 but that's all they'll say at the moment https://www.jayski.com/2021/09/02/23xi-racing-working-on-deal-with-front-row-motorsports-for-charter-merger/ Official: Ryan Preece is out at JTGDaugherty Racing. Ricky Stenhouse Jr will be driving the team's lone entry in the 2022 season https://www.jayski.com/2021/09/02/jtg-daugherty-racing-plans-to-run-one-full-time-team-in-2022/ Just got around to listening to this Dale Jr Download podcast with his brother Kerry Earnhardt https://www.dirtymomedia.com/dalejrdownload/episode/26e22c75/341-kerry-earnhardt-accepted-or-rejected Definitely worth your time to listen to if you're an Earnhardt fan. I won't spoil it but there's some great stories, some funny ones and sad ones. Theresa, wow what a , talk about cold hearted.
  6. Now I've seen everything... Flipping through the channels earlier and on CBS they had a Cornhole Championship game on. When did this become a nationally televised sport heck when did this even become a sport.?. Then my wife tells me one of her coworker's spent $500 on pro tournament Cornhole boards .
  7. Hit the junkyard today to get the steering wheel off my old car, which turned out to be easier than expected. Was also hoping to get a better trunk for the Saturn but the lock mechanism was broke on the car I was going to get it off of. Turns out I didn't need to sell my car to the junkyard after all. After getting grief from my dad and uncle about how my car was keeping him from getting the trees cut down. Turns out my dad thought of another excuse to not get them cut down since he couldn't use my car being in the way anymore. Just pisses me off All he ever does anymore is come up with excuses not to get stuff done. Whatever, if another branch falls off that tree and hits the neighbors house she already said she'll take him to court and I hope she does. Hope y'all have a good Labor day weekend
  8. My Saturn was made there. They were actually good reliable cars till some dipstick beancounter at GM decided to force Saturn to share platforms, engines and transmissions etc... with the other brands and the Ion is what came out of that and ruined the reliability.

Front Row Motorsports might shrink to a one car team or fold the Cup team entirely and sell both it's charter's. Apparently 23XI is either leasing or buying one of FRM's charter's for 2022

Its really unfortunate that F1 doesn't postpone a race a day or two in extreme circumstances like this one. They should look into changing that rule. I hope all the fans in attendance got a refund, if not a refund then free tickets to next year's race there.

  13. I'd be heading to the nearest Ferrari dealership with that check in hand, then again could head to the Chevy dealership and buy his and her Corvette's and still have plenty of money left over. Someone bought a house up the road for half a million but the house also sits on 5+acres of land. The management of these apartments is so stupid. Had to make an emergency maintenance call because our kitchen faucet sprung a leak. Maintenance guy installed a new faucet but had to Jerry rig the hoses because the ones that came with the faucet weren't long enough and he couldn't just go to Lowe's, Home Depot etc... to just get longer ones. They can only use what's in the storage shed if it ain't there then you're S.O.L. till they can order it and it gets delivered. And now the Jerry rigged hoses are leaking so got to wait till our regular maintenance guy gets in tomorrow to see if he can fix it.

Well another rumor on Twitter is 23XI racing will be buying or leasing a charter from Front Row Motorsports and FRM will switch from Ford to Toyota for 2022 as another JGR satellite team.
  15. 513 as in $513,000 or $51,300? Junkyard came and picked up the Cavalier today . Sad seeing her go. Wish I could have given it to someone for a parts car but the junkyard gave me an offer I couldn't pass up.
  16. Did ya make out like a bandit? Or did the bandits get you? Found out last month this one guy that has annual garage sales we go to got screwed before the housing boom. He sold his cabin on Lake Erie for nowhere near what it was worth because he had some medical bills to pay. The buyer lowballed him and with Covid lockdown beginning he figured he wouldn't get a better offer so he took it.

Kurt Busch is moving to the 2nd car for 23XI Racing in 2022 will be driving #45 https://nascar.nbcsports.com/2021/08/27/kurt-busch-to-drive-second-car-for-23xi-racing/ with that Kurt will be the only current driver to drive for every manufacturer since his debut in cup. I wonder since this is Kyle and Adam Petty's old number if that means they are getting the charter that RPM is currently leasing to RWR. And the car numbers are moving forward
