Africa - Toto Someone I know insisted on playing this repeatedly on his phone until about 4am on New Year's Day, so I had to include it (I liked it anyway ).

Sorry about that, it happens to me sometimes with links posted by US Hazzardites - if it's any consolation, my link doesn't work for me anymore, so thanks for the new link MaryAnne . Going on with MaryAnne's themes of a '60s song with a single word repeated in the title:
  5. (from The Sound of Music)She may not be 'My Maria', but she was definitely Maria .

There's a cliché on this side of the Atlantic that North Americans don't get irony. Alanis didn't do too much to dispel this idea, as Irish comedian Ed Byrne points out in .
  7. You're so close there dukefan1, I should have asked about Leslie at the same time if I'd thought that far ahead , but 'The Fortune Tellers' was from season 6. I'm looking for an actor from season 3 - I doubt you'll find it too hard to guess it now that Leslie's been eliminated .
  8. Well done Lizzy, and those who agreed with you. Here's a couple of photos (new question below): Q. Which guest actor who appeared in Dukes season 3 became a weapons obsessed sergeant in the Police Academy movies?.
  9. officer
  10. A bit of 2 Tone Ska from 1979.

  15. Well done to everyone who said Ernie Hudson. Dukefan1 was correct about the episode, he played Avery in 'Dear Diary' and Winston Zeddmore in 'Ghostbusters'. According to IMDb, he's going to reprise his role in 'Ghostbusters 3', scheduled for 2012 - I'm not sure whether a new movie is good news or bad . Here's a reminder of how he looked (next question below picture): Q. Which guest actor who also appeared in Dukes season 4 became a Star Trek commander?.
  16. I thought it was about time that 'the law' was represented in 'Fan Art'. Here's my version of Rosco's patrol car. I've gone for the most commonly used model, a '77/'78 Plymouth Fury. Once they had settled on this model, there are only very small differences between them eg. mirrors, lightbar and fixings, side strip etc. Now that I have the basic shape, I intend to do one or two of the patrol cars from surrounding counties.
  17. I think they borrowed this from my mother . She was definitely using it before Dukes started.
  18. bar
  19. fruit
  20. Don't expect me to get many of these, but I know this one - National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. Q. Until recently, what was Charlotte Motor Speedway known as?.
  21. Jon Holland's website has some pictures of the house in the 'before and after' section, but doesn't give an address: http://dukesofhazzard01.com/beforeandafter77.html On another page, showing original filming pics, it says: "Later in the day the cast and crew transferred out to Alcovy Trestle where the filming of "Big Johns" character was pushed into the water. This was to the right of the Alcovy Bridge. After this was filmed the cast and crew went back to the house to remake-up, eat, and warm-up." ... which would suggest the house is close to Alcovy Trestle.
  22. I'm going to have to give half points all 'round there - while Peggy Rea was in 38 episodes of 'The Waltons', Denver Pyle did appear in one episode in the first season. Q. Which guest actor who appeared in Dukes season 4 became a Ghostbuster 2 years later?.
  23. Welcome to HazzardNet :).

  24. It's never good to disagree with MaryAnne, especially when she's right . Here's Cathy in the movie (new question below): Sticking with Dukes cast members in other roles: Q. Which regular cast members appeared in 'The Waltons'?.
  25. wonderful As in 'There is nothing quite as wonderful as money' from Monty Python's 'Money Song'.
